Alaïa Eau de Parfum Blanche

This one may be one of a few rare fragrances or I should say perhaps I am one of a few guys who wears this and appreciate it greatly. 🥰👨🏻👍🏽👍🏽✨ But it started unintentionally and unexpectedly. This was a gift from a company I used to work for, and I kept it for a while thinking I could give this to someone eventually as a gift but it was left in the dark for a while. I got curious the scent profile so when I saw it, other than white florals, the rest looks quite unisex although some men’s fragrances have also white florals, too so I thought hmmm...🤔 And other thing is, when I saw the bottle in the beginning when I first time got this, I remember the juice was clear and then later on I noticed the juice turned into a dark brown like those pics posted by people on here. So those who are wondering if Fragrantica made a mistake or people are posting another fragrance, it is actually the same one and don’t worry, it’s just the “vanilla transformation”. It was processed to be clear in the lab but vanilla usually starts to show its own natural colour which is this syrupy brown just like when you buy the vanilla essence from the bakery goods isles in the grocery stores. But there’s no difference in quality so no need for panicking just so you guys know. (This is common with many other fragrances with tons of vanilla. It eventually transforms into a darker colour) So, I tested on my skin, thinking this fragrance could get too floral and feminine like a pretty lady in a nice dress and make up on. It does have a hint of that element to be honest because of the mixture of powdery note and floral note. But, because of the rest of the sweet beautiful deep vanilla and musky notes, those powdery and floral notes don’t get too dominant at least on my skin. This fragrance stays long time on my skin. Projection and sillage are also fantastic. So this fragrance is although still leaning tad bit towards more feminine side, if you are confident and appreciate the art of scents/fragrance, then those men can also appreciate this beauty and wear it with confidence. ✨👨🏻🥰 Maybe not an every day kind of fragrance but when the weather is cooler and looking for some comfort, this would be a great reach. You could share with your partner for sure.👫🏻 I actually wear many ladies’ fragrances including the original Alaïa black bottle (love it!😍♥️✨) and I find many (not all) ladies’ fragrances on men’s skin become more masculine compared to how it smells on female skin and vice a versa. (Men’s fragrances on female skin) Every time when I wear this, it keeps pumping a nice rich sweet vanilla fragrance with a touch of floral powdery whiffs for very long time and keeps wrapping around me wherever I go. It’s a very potent excellent quality fragrance. So either woman or man, you can appreciate the well blended and well rounded comforting scent throughout the scent life on the skin. ✨🥰☁️ I believe this is one of hidden gems for those who appreciate this type of blend including the original black bottle by Alaïa. ✨💎 🧐

Is anyone else getting Clueless vibes from this??? “Oh, no. You don’t understand. This is an Alaïa.” “An a-what-a?!?!” “It’s like a totally important designer!” I really could envision THE Cher Horowitz displaying this on her vanity in the opening scene of the movie. Like Cher, this is classy, elegant, confident and refined. But dualistically, it’s also playful, credulous, and genial. This smells modern but there’s a lot of the 90’s energy here. I completely agree with what has been said about this fragrance smelling a little root beer like. It actually smells a lot like Lip Smacker Dr Pepper chapstick during the dry down. That earns bonus points from me because I don’t care how old I get, I love that smell and continually pick up a stick at Target or Walmart. The vanilla also helps to project the more youthful aspects of Blanche. There’s something cherry-ish too that I am picking up on. Like a powdered cherry maybe? That might sound boring or average on paper yet there is something very unique that comes to life. The top reigning note is powder. This isn’t as facile as Love’s Baby Soft. It’s more creamy and cosmetic smelling. Powder can be tricky. It either smells mature/stuffy or it smells decadent/luxurious. Blanche absolutely falls into the latter category. I know that “solar notes” are unspecified and intentionally vague but there’s really nothing about this that screams a day at the beach. There’s definitely warmth in this scent. A solar disposition, perhaps; but no SPF, coconut, sandy/aquatic elements typically associated with the sun. Surfer girl? Nope. I get more of Madonna’s Material Girl. This is just, for a lack of a better term, yummy. It has no cloying, syrupy qualities. I can’t understand how this isn’t more popular. I also have to agree that the bottle is gorgeous. It’s like a fancy, top shelf bottle of liquor. I was afraid that the juice turned when seeing the cognac brown in the bottles currently for sale. Rest assured, all perfumes with vanilla turn this color over time and it has no affect on neither the smell or longevity. I could still smell this the morning afterward. I think it’s fascinating that so many people are finding comparisons of Blanche to plenty of other popular perfumes in the mainstream market and yet she’s entirely in her own league. She’s a little bit of a chameleon, I guess. Interesting in so many ways. I am still curious to try Valentina Poudre if only to have that exquisite bottle. I have nothing negative to say about Blanche. Everything about this is beautiful in every way. Love, love, love this!

Light to Dark ? Yes. My bottle of this perfume changed color with time. Here's why.........When brand new, Alaia Blanche appeared as a clear liquid inside the bottle. With time, the liquid perfume darkens as it becomes stronger, richer, much longer lasting. This is due to the vanilla note. Vanilla darkens with age. Nothing to worry about, it doesn't change the smell, it deepens and enhances it The scent is pleasant, like a smooth rich silky lotion. It has a modern, mildly powdery tone from the white musk, but it's not a dry powder. The white flowers are so well blended that it's hard to separate each scent. I don't recognize any tuberose, tropical flowers or orange flower, but I do detect magnolia, white rose, jasmine and white violets in the mix. To me, Valentina Poudre is a fun, feminine, pretty, more powdery daytime makeup scent, pink almond fluff "out with the girls" scent. Alaia Blanche is more of a creamy, "come closer" night fragrance. A perfume that's naturally sweet, Alaia Blanche is elegant, deep, rich, inviting, sexy, made for women who fully embrace and enjoy their sultry femininity. After the color turns dark inside the bottle, this perfume will easily last 8 to 12 hours on skin, longer on fabrics Projection is arm's length to wrap you in a beautiful scent bubble. You can easily wear Valentina Poudre to the office, but Alaia Blanche is NOT appropriate for office wear, too sultry for that. These two perfumes are like night and day, and I love them both.

I purchased a gift set of this after debating another blind buy and I’m so glad I did! The shower gel, lotion, and perfume smell a bit different from one another, each with a different emphasis on Alaïa’s layers. Shower gel is extremely musky, animalic and masculine. Body lotion is a creamy almond milk, vanilla bean (not the sweet kind) and a touch of talcum powder. The perfume is my favorite of the three. It opens with a floral note that I can’t quite identify, but smells vintage (edit: it is definitely violet!). That fades as it morphs into a heliotrope-vanilla-powder. This is when it really resembles Valentina Poudre with the “terracotta pot” almond powder, plus a hint of cherry. The drydown is a powdery vanilla musk that reminds me *slightly* of Narciso Poudree, but less floral and a softer, sweeter musk. Alaïa Blanche is an everyday scent, office friendly with moderate sillage. As others have mentioned, this is like a lighter Hypnotic Poison suitable for warmer weather. It is slowly moving up to the top of my favorites list... I like it more every time I wear it. I hope it is never discontinued. If I ever visit Alhambra, this is what I’ll be wearing :)

This is my current go to fragrance. My previous everyday perfume was Narciso Poudre, however I found that it didn't have as much longevity and silage as I'd hoped. I wanted something with a bit more oomph. This perfume is it! Its very similar to my Narciso Poudre, however is a slightly sweeter and definitely longer lasting with better silage. This is a LOVE from me. Though this perfume won't fill a room, it definitely gets noticed. I feel like it creates a lovely, milky, smooth, powdery, vanilla cloud :) though you may not be able to smell it as strongly on yourself after 2 hours, I have asked a few people who all said they could smell me from 1.5 metres away. The opening is like a burst of marzipan/cherry, then when the fragrance settles, it is a lovely almond smell. After about 20 minutes, the vanilla & musk come through, with the musk reminding so much of my beloved Narciso Poudre. As previously mentioned, the notes listed on Fragrantica are incorrect & need to be updated.

This is a love for me. Its a fragrance that kept me grounded during a difficult and low point in my life - it's warmth and softness brought me some peace and comfort and I think I will always love it for that. But, enough about my emotional attachment to this. This is a powdery, soft floral, slightly sweet scent. I can see where it gets compared to Hypnotic Poison, but they're definitely not the same in my book. Hypnotic Poison has a sort of spiciness to it, where this is more delicate and doesn't have the woodiness of Hypnotic Poison. I love both of them, but they're not the same. This is one of my all-time loves, I can't imagine it not being in my collection (so much so that I went out and bought a back-up bottle). If anyone gets a bottle with the dark juice and is confused why it's not clear like show in the picture, that's because the vanillin changes color over time, so it's not a fake it's just because the ingredient causes the color to change after a while.

Just received my bottle, and I love it!! It is strikingly pretty, very warm, very romantic...it really makes me think of sandy dunes, of tropical flowers, it has an undertone of sunscreen, but the most expensive one...the animalistic vibe is there from the top notes to the base, giving Alaia personality and a bold presence, the sweetness comes early on, it isn't a typical sweetness, nothing is boring or generic about Alaia...it is exotic , proper, beautiful..I don't find it overly powdery, I own Valentina Poudre which is a lot more powdery to my nose...the heart is more floral, I thought I detected candied violets, not sure..I think of a sun drenched house with white walls...nice creation I asked my husband what he thought, he doesn't seem to know!! It has a bit of Hypnotic Poison sensuelle ' S vibe..but I find it better ...for my taste, what a great scent!! It is like a clean scent with a dirty undertone, real unique.!!

To me this is a blonde woody-floral-musky gourmand with a powdery twist. It is totally captivating to me and I don't believe I have anything in my collection like it. I would say this would be an easy to wear, when you're just not sure what to wear scent. It makes me feel warm, comforted like some scents can make you feel. You know, the feel good scents that you always want a bottle of and not run out. It doesn't project and seems to dissipate a bit into a skin scent after about 30 minutes or so, but that is the beauty of this type of fragrance. I don't believe it was meant to SHOUT at you, but instead, draw you into or toward itself. Very inviting, but not proactively so. I keep seeing it in stores like TJ Maxx & Marshalls for a decent price, but passed it up as a blind buy. Time to go trolling for this baby! Edit: Found it on Ebay! Juice is an amber color though, inside a white box.

I find this to be a lot like hypnotic poison yet it is in a league of it's own. It doesn't have the thick fluffy sweet almond smell nor the spicy carraway. The opening is cherry and powder then it fades into the root beer vibe with a slight cherry makeup smell then it drys down to warm makeup powder. It's beautiful and not as sweet as HP. If you thought HP was too cloying and sweet try this one I think you will love it. I think this works perfect for the hotter portion of fall. I live in southern California so I'm always looking for the perfect fragrance for that hotter bit of fall that isn't too heavy that it chokes me out because the hotter proportion of fall here is sometimes in the 90s and 80s. I think this is light enough for that yet it smells like fall winter fragrance.

Gosh!! this is so similar to Valentia Poudre, but the powder note here is less concentrated and all in all fresher than Valentino, if somebody likes Valentina Poudre but wants something fresher or maybe a version for the hot weather, I suggest her/him this one, it is really nice. Valentina Poudre has better sillage and longevity though! Edit 7/1/2019: after using this perfume for more than one year, it became one of my all-time favorites!, and I actually bought my second bottle, it's so memorable and super long-lasting, sillage is heavy, so I don't use it for day-to-day AT ALL! But for really special occasions I don't even hesitate! you have to be a powdery-scent lover to wear this, unless that you might find it a bit overwhelming! POWDERY & ROMANTIC .... 9/10.

This perfume has been a long-desired for me. When I finally got a bottle of it, I sprayed it on and immediately I felt so content with my blind buy. This is a beautiful combination of Valentina Poudre and Violet Blonde by Tom Ford. So nice. I really agree with one of the reviews below that there definitely is a hidden violet note. To my nose it is a soft scent of a compact powder - iris, vanilla and violet (Violet Blonde). Yes, it is definitely very reminiscent of Valentina Poudre, but Poudre is way more woodsy. I don't really smell woody notes in Alaia Blanche. It's just soft, violet-like, very comfy-smelling...Moreover, I think I got the very last bottle one could get in the country I live in. :) Longevity and sillage are moderate, I would say.

Strangely addictive. It's a powdery almond vanillla perfume with a milky note. It's a white scent. A skinscent but strong . Although Paris Blanche is mainstream it falls In to niche cathegory in my opinion. It does not smell very main stream . It's sweet but not candy sweet. More of a sensual , classy sweet or a cookie as far as sweetness and smell goes. Almond ,vanilla& powder , plus milk sums it up ! Almost like a shortbread cookie with ground up almonds , even a hint of lemon in its opening or something citrusy. Someone said meringue ! The musk keeps it from going completely into edible gourmand cathegory and keeps it clean ,there for I would say it's a woody floral musk as suggested. However I still don't understand the solar note.

This reminds me, just a little, of Helicriss by Sylvaine Delacourte. The musk in this is much more pronounced in the beginning, but quickly dries down. I'm not sure by what is referred to as 'Solar Notes' though. It seems like a Spring time day scent... like being out in a garden with sunrays beaming down... but in what pretentious way does that equate to actual notes that are solar? Is this not more of an accord? Floral and perhaps spicy notes combined to create the sensation of being in the sun? Odd note classification, Fragrantica. Odd indeed, but I must commend you for being much more knowledgeable and open minded than I am it seems. All that aside... a beautiful scent, I love it.

Sophisticated class! Upon initial spray I can smell rather strong mixture of cherry, almond, white flowers and vanilla..... not the most pleasurable experience that my nose has been through. This stage lasts quite a few good minutes. After it starts settling down, it's more of a skin scent, but being able to detect its fumes for couple of hours, when lightly sprayed on clothes. It gently smells like natural vanilla and powdered milk on the skin. In the sun, salty beachy air comes through on top. Alaia Blanche is well balanced perfume, with hint of some sweetness, powdery notes and white flowers, possibly jasmine being one of them. It smells expensive. Stunning class....

Today's mood (because that's how I choose my sotd): Alaia edp Blanche. First impression (after having been in my collection for 8 months) is that she is....STUNNING!! Secondly, she is going to be even better in the spring/summer months, but for now - here smack in the middle of winter in Palestine - she is going to...KILL! Alaia opens w/a strong, yet elegant, almond/coconut deliciousness that is hitting just RIGHT today! She slowly moves into her glorious, next-level VANILLA, then settles into a come-closer-musky?-powder. Nothing left to say, about her really, so I won't...but I WILL go & try to take a deserving photo of her for fragram. LOL

Wow, this one is much deeper than I thought it'd be. I was expecting something way lighter, but this one has real depth. It does reminds me of Hypnotic Poison at first spray only, but this one develops differently - it's the ethereal version of it, so to speak. The powder makes all the difference, it adds a more old-fashioned and lady-like feel to it - HP for brides? Maybe. For a wedding during winter this could be perfect - especially for the party that comes after the vows and the honeymoon. It's perfect for cold weather because it's warm and pretty, feminine in every facet - it has a traditional charm once you get to know it. Love it.

Finally received this one. I have been trying to find it for ages without luck. When I saw the liquid I panicked, it was dark, like coca cola. A little spray on my arm and at first the smell of almond hit me hard but not in a pleasant way. I waited a bit and it started developing to become divine. Very powdery, sensual, elegant. It transported me back to Paris, on a dry cold day, walking everywhere and feeling sophisticated. Smelt my arm this a day after and it is still there. As a powdery, spicy, flowery parfume addict this is one pleased me. It reminds me the frangances from the 90's. Strong with good sillage and staying power.

One of the best vanilla scents that I have smelled. To me it's soft and cozy yet warm and pronouncing. This sweet powdery fragrance is great to wear on its own or to layer with a another fragrance. Its a sophisticated vanilla that gives me grown woman vibes. On me, I get moderate longevity and moderate sillage. I adore it so much I just got a back up bottle. Also, there is nothing wrong with the juice if it is dark. Vanilla based fragrances turn dark over time, think of it as aged wine. BTW, it smells nothing like Hypnotic Poison but it does layer well with it.

Having receive a decent from a buddy on here I was pleasantly surprised how much I like this. I totally get what churinl says about a note similar insure...perhaps the menthol/root beer note. I find his pretty and elegant but not too serious. Heliotope and powdery vanilla with a hint of light musks. I picture a gauzy bridal veil or an ice skaters white outfit with white feathers and pearls. Not too loud projection but it's a posible will-buy for me do find it similar to both Narciso Poudre and actually Trussardi My Name . I think this is the most refined.

This is the white skin scent I've been looking for! It is nice and soft, with a musky and milky vibe. The projection is low/moderate, but the longevity is on the short side at about 2-3 hours. It's really lovely if you are looking for a nice vanilla powdery scent topped with white florals lightly dancing in a cloud of milk. It's not too sweet and almost gets that playdough note, but never crosses the line. It has a similarity to Donna Karan Liquid Cashmere White. If you like that scent, then you will like this, but I like Alaia much more.

THIS FRAGRANCE IS GORGEOUS! I blind bought a 10ml travel size, simply because it was a great price and I like the original Alaïa (black bottle), but was I in for a surprise! It is comforting but sensual, classy but mysterious, a masterpiece but very wearable. This is a wonderful, sophisticated vanilla and can be worn all year round. I feel very foolish that I didn't buy a bigger bottle at the time and sadly these days, this perfume is difficult to find. My 10ml has the dark liquid and is honestly one of my favourite fragrances.

I started wearing it again after couple of years. I forgot how good this is. Its October and it suits the crispiness of the weather. So elegant and pretty. So Pretty. Luxurious and warm. Sweet like a hug. An almond hug. But its an elegant hug ;) If you like heliotrope then you must have it. Often you see in forums people asking for spa/luxury hotel smells. This fits this so so much. The woman I picture wearing it is beautiful inside out, with attention to detail in hair and nails. Smiling. Gorgeous scent. Big love.

The notes listed above; as top notes, are they accurate/or complete?? I get more than what I see above. I love this scent, it is beautiful. I give it a 9.5/10 for everything. So I get musk and some woody notes. I get florals and funny enough a hint of chocolate, dark bitter chocolate.... I also get some bitter nuttiness. On my skin, it lasts all day and it projects very well. The musk is evident, The vanilla too. There are levels to this beauty and this creation is so underrated.

I've been under the weather and nothing has smelled good to my nose or on my skin. Alaia Blanche is the exception. It was not love at first spray. On skin, all I get is a strong cherry coke smell but in the air and on clothes the smell is a cross between Guerlain L'instant's vanilla and powdery notes and Dior's Poison Girl Dr. Pepper fizzy opening. It's a very long-lasting, classic, femine, and powdery scent. It's wonderful! Can't wait to feel better and test again on skin.

I smell refined cherries. I love it. I just wish it had a bit more sillage and longevity. Edit: After wearing it for a while I love this even more than before. It is great. I find it a bit similar to Hypnotic Poison but not too much. Although I like HP I like this one much more. This is also more suited for everyday use I feel, although I imagine this would also be good for going out. - But unfortunately this can't be tested much in the current situation.

Beautiful, very feminine and elegant perfume. It is very powdery, vanillic and just a little sweet. Smelling it makes me think of designer’s memory of water being poured over hot brick walls in Tunisia, described as an inspiration for this perfume (it goes so perfectly with the perfume), or iconic supermodels from the 90s. This perfume has a special place in my heart. I’m so glad I have a bottle, because I don’t think it is available anymore.

This is divine!I tested it yesterday and I couldnt stop smelling it. I love powder scents, Valentina poudre is my top one but this also is WOW - powder power and really elegant with vanilla and white flowers behind giving it a really rich sophisticated aura! It fits to a woman entering a room and everyone is wondering how amazingly sweet but sophisticated she smells. Love it! If anyone wants to swap it please oh please message me!

Alaïa Eau de Parfum Blanche is absolutely stunning. The powdery vanilla isn’t artificial smelling, and not overly sweet. It is very romantic, sexy. I’m terrible at these reviews. The more I like something, the more impressed with it I am, the more difficult it is for me to put into words my reasons for appreciation. Gosh, I just love it. Edit: My bottle has juice that is almost cola colored.

This is one of very few perfumes that I have backup bottles of. I find this to be such a pretty and comforting scent, very cozy - almost like getting a hug from someone close to you. It's probably just the sentimental side of me talking, but there's a reason that this remains in my top favs. This is powdery and sweet (so if you don't like powdery scents, this might not be for you).

My first bottle wasn't all that. I ended up keeping it for years before I sold it with barely a dent. I then ran into a friend that smelled like heaven and she told me it was Alaia Blanche. Immediately, bought a new bottle (different batch) and I am in love. Satisfies my deepest almond vanilla cravings. It's quite deep like the juice but somehow manages to stay fresh and clean.

My bottle is no longer "blanche" as the vanilla has deepened into a gorgeous mahogany colour. I realize there is a lot of heliotrope but I swear I pick up violets as well. Very almondy floral initially but the dry down is a wonderful marzipan vanilla, not unlike Hypnotic Poison. Perfect for grey November days and looking out the window, looking mournful.

Understated elegance. Effortless glamour. Signature material! It's not just the scent that I enjoy smelling on myself but also one that projects the sense of self I aspire to. The reviews for this perfume are very accurate. I have nothing else to say. If you love Poudre type of perfumes, you will definitely love this one.

This is stunning! It’s velvety smooth, creamy, milky. Very heavy on the heliotrope, can’t believe this note isn’t listed, there’s a heavy dollop of it! It’s unique, can’t think of anything like it, and suits every occasion, season, time! Adore the bottle too! Great longevity and sillage.

Elegant liquid powder in a gorgeous bottle. This is to me a classic, familiar, beautiful scent that makes me think of a vintage cream-scented powder that ladies would apply by puff after a bath. Everything about it is lovely.. silky-smooth and quietly sensual.

it's very soft and airy and vanilla-powdery skinscent. it is very strange that even though i can't smell it because it is so soft i think i'm in a cloud of vanilla and it's there everywhere around me. very delicate fragrance.

Almost identical to the almost simultaneously released Valentina Poudre. This one's perhaps a bit lighter and therefore better suited for summer, or daytime. Which makes Valentino's offering perhaps even more feminine. ****

Hard to find in France. Only sold in Alaia boutique. Classy almond scent. I would have call this one "nude" and not "blanche" because this one is really soft and the "nude" is too woody for me.

Silky bare skin sensation. Nude, smooth, but not provocative. Just a warm delicacy. I wish I could perceive it longer, but I guess it would ruin the mysterious and tender effect.

Why did they change the notes? This definitely has powder, violet and musk notes in addition to what’s now listed. I *really* hope that doesn’t mean it was recently reformulated!

I tried this fragrance simultaneously with poison girl from Dior, and found this "Alaïa" much better, more unique, has more interesting details in her character! 10/10

opening stage is very similar to NR Poudree...drydown is fresh and milky high quality cosmetic powders.. very nicely blended.. evolves, projects and lasts.. 9/10

I love it! Very adult, serious scent, it has something in it that old fashioned fragrances have, but not dated. It is for a "Lady", very dignified!

Beautiful. Sweet but not gourmand. powdery "floury" "sawdusty" vanilla + tuberose (essental oil not fresh flowers).

What a beautiful fragrance so soft and addictive. My sister thought i was wearing hypnotic . I just love it!

One of my favourites, sweet (but not overly), musky, powdery & comforting!

today I reached for my backup bottle of Alaia Blanche after five years and I saw the color of it's liquid has changed to dark reddish brown. fortunately it's scent is unchanged. so I'm pretty sure there's not two different versions of Alaia Blanche because I witnessed it's change of color when it's aged. now let's talk about it's gorgeous, dreamy scent. for me Alaia Blanche has nothing to do with Dior Hypnotic Poison and I've been wearing HP and it's flankers for years. it has a slight similarity to Valentino Poudree and NR Poudree but it's different enough to justify buying it if you have the other mentioned Poudre perfumes. when I first spray Alaia Blanche, violet and powdery notes are the most dominant. it's a sweet,almost candied violet which I enjoy a lot but as it dries down, it turns to something even more pretty. it gets warmer, a milky vanilla and a silky musk(a bit similar to the muskyness of NR cube line) show up and heliotrope replaces violet. it has some sweetness but I can't call this a very sweet scent and it has some deliciousness but I can't call it a gourmand( I detect something like a flowery almond like how almondy a heliotrope note can feel which is a bit different with the almond itself). this scent is cold and warm at the same time. powdery and milky at the same time. it's clean in a not soapy, not sharp way. I find it very feminine and delicate and chic in a simple,minimalist way. unfortunately it's not potent or long lasting on me and I prefer beast mode perfumes, still I'm happy to have this one. it's office friendly, romantic night friendly, very versatile and ageless. Edit: I don't know why they changed the notes. I can definitely smell these notes: violet, vanilla, musk, heliotrope, something very similar to the powdery notes in Valentino poudre and there's definitely some non descript white florals here. بنظر من اصلا شبیه هیپنوتیک پویزن نیست. یه شباهت هایی با ولنتینو پودر و نارسیسو پودر داره اما نه اینکه عین شون باشه اما اگه از این دوتا عطر خوشتون میاد احتمال زیادی وجود داره که از آلایا بلنش هم خوشتون بیاد. وقتی تازه اسپری میشه بنفشه و نتهای پودری غالبن و خوشبختانه بنفشه شیرین و دوست داشتنی داره. اما تو ادامه بهترم میشه. مشک ملایم(شبیه مشک نارسیسو مکعبی ها) و وانیل لطیف و شیری سر و کله شون پیدا میشه و گل هلیوتروپ با حس و حال بادومی طورش جایگزین بنفشه میشه. آلایا بلنش شیرینه اما نه خیلی شیرین. یکم خوشمزه ست اما نه اونقدر که بشه بهش گفت گورمند و خوراکی طور. یجورایی هم خنکه هم گرم. هم پودریه هم شیری. رایحه لطیف و خیلی فمینینی داره که یجور مینیمال و ساده ای شیکه و پرکاربرده و چهارفصل و از اون عطراست که بنظر من واسه همه سنین مناسبه. راستی اینم بگم که رنگ مایعش بعد یه مدت تغییر میکنه. من پنج ساله دارمش و مایعش قهوه ای، قرمز تیره شده اما رایحه عطر مطلقا تغییر نکرده. موندگاری و پخش بوش هم نسبتا کمه. لااقل رو پوست من. درکل عطر سبک و لطیفیه و بنظر من چهارفصل قابل استفادست ویرایش: نتهای این عطر رو تغییر دادن اما من این نتها رو قطعا حس میکنم: بنفشه، هلیوتروپ، وانیل، مشک، گلهای سفید نامشخص و یه چیزی که خیلی شبیه نت پودر تو ولنتینو پودر هست

Received it as a gift from my man and I love it I can see why it's compared to Valentino Poudre which I also own but they're not dupes by any means.the note "powder" is truely detectable in both,but other than that powder-vanilla gene which they share,I can't find much in common I can detect powder,non-descript floral notes and a soft veil of powdery vanilla since the very first minute of spraying it.Valentino Poudre gene is apparent in the opening part but it's more airy,less vanilla heavy in Alaia Blanche.in less than ten minutes musk shows up.it's not a cold,harsh or chemical musk,not an oily,skanky one either.I love powder and vanilla but what makes me love this perfume is it's musk which has such a magical dance on my skin that I sometimes find myself hypnotized.I can sometimes feel it's warm,animalic undertone but sometimes it feels silky and clean. Heliotrope reigns the drydown with it's yummy almond-vanilla cookie scent but I can still can smell enough musk and a light veil of a floral accord to see it as a perfumey scent,not a totally foody one.I like it all through it's life but dry down is heavenly and comforting. I can see that most people consider Alaia Blanche unisex but I find it very feminine,charming in a non-pretentious,elegant way and sexy,truely sexy in a nude,delicate way.it's soft and gentle yet deep.unlike some other light,nude fragrances lacking character is not a case here.it doesn't try to look complex or different,it doesn't shout at anybody but is artistically done and while it may remind us numerous other perfumes,it's actually original IMO For me it's a year round perfume.now I'm wearing it in hot summer days and it feels right Longevity and sillage have good ratings in fragrantica but unfortunately not on me.it becomes a skinscent in an hour and I can't smell it three hours after spraying.it's a shame as I love it and I prefer to be able to smell it like a cloud of powder around me for couple of hours.I'm new to this perfume so maybe my nose gets anosmic to it(usually this changes after a while) or maybe it performs better in cold weather For now I can say that I like and enjoy it a lot and I'm glad to have it,though I'm not satisfied by it's strength

I have written of this previously, see below. I am revisiting after acquiring the version with darker contents. Those believing the extremely dark version is as such due to age are incorrect in this particular case. (My lighter version is years old and has darkened only slightly compared to official images depicting this as a clear, uncoloured liquid.) There are definitely two formulations of this scent. One darker, one lighter. They are not one and the same. Whether the darker version did start out lighter is probably irrelevant, it's still a different formulation. Personally I have found both too sickly sweet for my taste. Too permeating. I tire easily of this scent. Either version. The sweetness overwhelms. The lighter liquid variant contains a different violet than the darker version. It is the focus from the opening through to the heart. It is not as balsamic, it is more effervescent, less complex. The darker of the two is instantly stronger among with not opening with that bright violet, it is heavily balsamic from the off. There are other flowers - all lilacs/violets/heliotrope/orris/purple. Atop heavy balsamic, buttery, ambery talcum. Both versions contain a subtly salty musc and strong vanilla. Both are sweet and have excellent longevity. The lighter is as tenacious but more delicately perceived. The darker is a room filler, less bright, lacks that particular violet note. Its violet is closer to that of the original, black bottle version Alaïa. If you wash them off, the lighter liquid version leaves its dominant, more synthetic, violet behind, while the darker version leaves a powdered amber behind. That's my two (s)cents, anyhoo. For me it is, in either incarnation, too warm, too sickly, too sweet. Both versions are simply different formulations of the same scent. The lighter is, I believe, "technically" not as good.

I have all three of Alaia's EDPs, and out of the three, this one is my favorite. It definitely performs much better on my skin than the other two, which are different and lovely in their own right but barely perceptible to me after 10 minutes, tops. It is unusual for me to be as fond of a sweet (approaching gourmand) scent as I am of Blanche, but I truly enjoy the vanilla and almond combo. I think it is well balanced, and each note seems to provide a check on the other notes, providing a certain restraint, and preventing it from being a "bomb" of any sort. While NR Poudree and Blanche undeniably share certain aspects, they are different enough that I feel justified having both in my collection. I feel pretty wearing this, and while I don't consider it particularly sexy, there is a sensuality in this fragrance that I can see being seductive in a very innocent way. Being a collector, I am glad to own all three Alaias, but this is the one I will definitely reach for far more often than the other two. My only disappointment is visual - I had hoped it would be a white bottle. Instead it is a clear bottle and the juice is a deep amber color. I can definitely live with that! Edit 5/8/2019 - I can't quite put my finger on it, but there is something in this juice that calls to mind Mugler's Aura. I have a hard time with Aura and have considered putting it up to swap several times, but even though it is familiar to me somehow in Blanche, I enjoy it much more. This may turn into a love for me - I may like it even more than NR Poudree.
