Armonia di Legni

Armonía di Legni strikes me as a very interesting perfume. It's above all a very unique and original fragrance that adds a sugary cotton candy note (reminiscent of perfumes like Baccarat Rouge) to a woody, ambery scent where labdanum and patchouli blend. The addition of white flowers at times also reminds me of fragrances like Kilian's LOVE, although it breaks that childlike and playful sugary aspect with a darker, more aromatic base, adding considerable depth. At times, it even reminds me (though it's not exactly the same, but somewhat similar in style) of perfumes like Lattafa's Raghba or Nasomatto's Black Afgano (minus the cannabis note), probably because the combination of sugar and labdanum creates a burnt sugar sensation that evokes certain nuances of those fragrances. It's a very easy-to-wear perfume, perfect for everyday use. It's not at all heavy, despite its sweetness, as this is well balanced with the other notes, and with relatively low projection, it shouldn't be bothersome. The longevity, however, is quite good. Although I really liked it, like everything else I've tried from this brand so far, I have to say I liked this perfume more on paper than on my skin. On paper, I would easily have given it a 9.5-10, and on my skin, I'd rate it between 8.5 and 9. This is unlike other perfumes from the same designer, such as Ektoras, which I didn't like at all on paper, but on my skin, I give it a 9-9.5, and it's even made it onto my list of potential perfumes to buy in the future. That's the magic of perfumery.
