I'm surprised at how little attention this perfume is getting. I mean, just look at who the Nose is. I think it might have something to do with the way it's described in the marketing blurb... Wallflower is a tricky note. I think one either reacts positively to it or not. In my case, it reminds me of an olive grove (I don't know why, but that's the association I get), so it's a definite plus. It's also found in Furiosa, which is now sadly discontinued. So, in my search for something with wallflower in it, I came across this. I'm not suggesting that Duchaufour was intentionally going for that vibe, just how my nose responds to it. In effect, I perceive it as Furiosa without incense and the sandalwood amped up. There is coconut at the beginning but not the sun-tan lotion kind (it's actually nicely done, feels fresh). I don't get any iris though. To me it feels like a dialogue between wallflower and sandalwood. Yes, there's a lot of sandalwood. This is a good thing in my book. It's the sort of dry and slightly piquant sandalwood (which is how it should be). It is very similar to Villoresi's Sandalo. It all dries down to something elegant and refined. Performance is average though. This might keep it from being qualified as really good, but it's still pretty good. (Not so sure about the bow tie...)

An elegant fragrance, beautifully designed and frankly unisex. My husband ended up with this perfume. It smelled better on him than it did on me. I can't explain it in terms of aromatic components, but only for the sensation: Lots of elegance, a safe, discreet, confident aroma. A warm hug that assures us that everything is fine. Very good perfume for men and women.

Sandalwood is too strong in it. it's the first thing I smell in the perfume, but I feel woody and light coconut notes. and in the middle it reminds me a lot of CDG Conrete. it is one in one. I love it!

As other states, it comforting. It's soft, cozy, creamy. It's a less airy, more powdery than van cleefs santal blanc. It's like a powerful wiff of luxury fabric softener.

This perfume is comforting. It is not overly complex, but it’s pleasant and easy to wear.
