WOW Legacy by Alexander Perfume took me by surprise with its captivating complexity. At first, I was unsure if this genre of fragrance was for me, as it started off very complex,an intriguing greenish scent. The infusion of exotic notes like tomato leaf, orris root, and myrrh, along with the Swedish birch, left my mind and senses fascinated in an exciting way. After a few hours, the fragrance transformed as the orris root and vanilla emerged, adding a creamy touch that beautifully softened the bold opening notes. The dry-down was where Legacy truly shined, getting better and better with time. It reminded me of Sauvage Elixir but with a unique green twist in the opening and a slightly buttery touch. The sandalwood and musk gradually tamed the leather, bringing everything together and creating an absolute powerhouse statement. I can't emphasize how mind blowing this fragrance is.It simply has everything,It is daring and complex,dark and robust yet there is slight delicate facets of swedish beauty that just keeps this beast in check ..100% full bottle worthy for when a statement needs to be made I recommend Legacy for men over 30, particularly during the fall and winter seasons or for special occasions. I don't think I have come across (or at least have in my collection) any leather-based fragrances where it appears in the top notes rather than in the base... And yet somehow in this creation it works! In fact, the opening notes of tomato leaf, leather and vanilla are some of the strangest I have seen. Yet the sharp green and tar-like notes are smoothed and softened by the vanilla. The duality of sweet and sharp continues in the heart, with clary sage and orris root going toe-to-toe with galbanum. The orris helping to bring things under control with a powdery touch. The performance on this fragrance is up there with the best, and with the heart only starting to fade a solid 4-5hr in, the base reveals another leathery nuance in some birch, some creamy softness from sandalwood and musk - and just a hint of spiciness from the myrrh. Although my nose is still getting used to this creation, I completely understand why it has the following that it does! I do feel like it will really shine in the colder weather so will definitely make a reappearance when our seasons change 🔥❄️

Certainly refined. The leather and the tomato leaf this perfume opens with are well balanced and complex. They offer a more lively opening than the mid notes, which instead give you a sense of grounding, with a hint of smoke to keep it all interesting. Undeniably fascinating, but I just can't think of what type of person would belong in this scent genre.
