Sacred Osmanthus

The smell of the absinthe, green tea and perfumed leather altogether. Bitter green slightly make-up- ish anise-like flavour ; strange, spicy, smokey and yet soft, sweet and sophisticated. Delicious and delightful skin scent. I'm in love with it.

I was looking forward to receiving this scent since I like osmanthus. Thought this would be Goth osmanthus version. Well, all I got from this perfume was smoky incense and dried fruits, prunes and raisins smoked. I cannot smell any floral notes here. From the notes listed maybe some type of tea, burned smoky tea. Such a weird, off combo. Odd perfume. Unisex. Drydown got a bit stinky, smelling cheap, had to wash it off.

Kind of different than what I was expecting. I though it would be soft but the tea is packing a wallop out of the gate. The leather and osmanthus mix is kind of earthy. I don't get too much of the ethereal apricot that I usually smell in osmanthus heavy perfumes. At least not for some time, it does show itself more in the dry down. Since it is different to what I usually go for the jury is still out on love or not. I am testing all the new McQueens atm and admit that they are great quality and last a good long time.
