This is one of those fragrances that draws you in on first sniff, and the best part... It keeps getting better as it dries!! On opening, the bright rose accord is front and centre - surrounded by sweet orange and raspberry dripping in caramel. The sweetness seems to amplify the rose, delicately balancing it without it turning too jammy. The heart is full and round, with complimentary florals bringing even more life and projection in the opening hour of wear. Beyond this, the jasmine turns and provides greater depth - assisted by the patchouli... coming across as the rose beginning to wilt and bring a subtle darkness (imagine the rose in a rose/oud combo). And yet in place of a dark, woody base - the perfumer has chosen warm and cosy notes of musk, amber and vanilla... Providing a beautiful and final lift like petals in the wind. This captivating journey lasts many hours thanks to this base, and has the fragrance suitable for all lovers of rose regardless of gender. A stunning creation and contender for my top 3 of the house!! 🔥 🌹

I really like this, it's staying power is also solid. The opening is bright and sweet, but on my skin you can immediately also pick up the dark patchouli. It almost gives the effect of an oud fragrance here, but without the oud. It makes me think of leather, of smoke and darkness but the fruit makes it light. It's so carefully balanced that the fruityness and leather bitterness is never overpowering one another nor the rose note. It's definitely unisex and it's a heavier more complex version of Rose d' Voleur. It never gets boring and never makes me think ' oh another rose perfume, how groundbreaking'

Straight no from me on this one! Not what I'd class as a modern scent, in my opinion leans more feminine in fact my wife said she liked it. Reminded of an 80's style fragrance, like Aramis with a dusty rose. I don't think I got one of those Top notes, in fact I'm shocked to learn that there is Orange & raspberry in it.
