Altesse Mysore

This has a pleasant, musky, patchouli-rose in the opening that reminds me slightly of Vengeance Extreme. It's not exactly groundbreaking, but quite lovely nonetheless. My favorite is the drydown where it becomes less musky/floral, and leans more earthy, woody, and resinous. Safe blind buy in my book as it's inoffensive and quite pretty. UPDATE: After wearing this again, and without it having to compete with my sniffing other perfumes, I'm now reminded of a Montale rose/musk accord in the opening. The plum in here reminds me of Si by Giorgio Armani, but not as sweet. Again, this is well-trodden territory and I keep sniffing and waiting for something new to happen, like waiting for the clown to pop out of a Jack-In-the-Box, but it never does. I still find this an agreeable fragrance not without its charms. It will work well for those days when I can't make up my mind.

Just a bit much - frankly aggressive patchouli-rose with an excess of dark musk-ish notes, which reminded me a bit of Portrait of a Lady, but with a lot less class and a much screechier voice. I love pink pepper, plum, woods and resins, so thought this could go either way for me - but sadly, the top end's over-sharp. So overall this turned out too bossy and femme for my personal taste, with a slightly fusty edge that made it seem a bit over-aged. Performance is downright incredible, though, so it's clearly very well-engineered - it throws like a cut-glass high-class accent through a high-ceilinged room and lasts for well over 12h on me, which is exceptional. Do test if this kind of deal usually rings your bell - if you like POAL (I'm still on the fence personally), then it's more than possible you'd enjoy this and it's definitely a trouper.

If WTF was bottled this is it. Very confusing mix of odors. Scrubbed it off ASAP and I own a confusing frag in this line in Argentic.

Good gracious, this stuff is honestly revolting. I had high hopes based on the notes and reviews here but this one is a scrubber for me. Something about the combination of fruit, ambroxan, and musk goes lactonic-- melting fruity ice cream or something like that. Good god it's awful.

An imaginative and artistic perfume! It opens with fresh and slightly floral notes, which evoke a fantastic and brilliant landscape. Altesse Mysore is a vibrant and colorful perfume that puts you in a good mood! I recommend trying it first, I tried my sample and I think I will buy a bottle soon. I really like!
