Black Beetle

Unisex Eau de Parfum 100ml (Extrait comes in 25ml bottles) Despite of a few simple ingredients this kind of scent is impossible for me to buy without testing and therefore I’m really glad that I saw this @campomarzio70 in Rome. Black beetle is a beautiful and mellow Patchouli scent which first shines with dark airiness and freshness and then turns into a sweeter and warmer tones. That pleasant mesmerizing blend has an additional hint of woody note from incense in the opening and a spicy note from Chili in the heart. Patchouli is not pungent or unpleasant at any point, but rather soft and all mingle perfectly together with woody base. Patchouli is here edgy yet masterfully made to show it’s all most beautiful characteristics one after another. Top notes: Bergamot, Raspberry, Incense (Patchouli in the opening is so brash that I can’t separate Bergamot or Rasberry) Heart notes: Chili, Patchouli Base notes: Woods I was so curious to learn more about “Incense” as a note and it it turned out to be very interesting. “The history of incense itself goes back thousands of years – in fact, the first perfumes were burned, not worn: perfume actually gets its name from ‘per fumum’, or ‘through smoke’. The name ‘incense’, meanwhile also comes from the Latin: ‘incendere’ means ‘to burn’.” Olibanum or Frankincense is usually meant by incense in a perfumery. It could also refer to a smoky note but it’s not the case in Black Beetle. This projects well and people can smell the scent long after you have left the room. 🔥💯 And the bottle is gorgeous! 💎 It’s so beautiful, regal and unique since so many houses seems to prefer square shaped bottles. I'm shocked this doesn't have rose and pink pepper listed as notes. This comes across as a deep, DARK, rose-patchouli, with a hefty dose of incense and warm spices. The raspberry lends a slight fruitiness, but I hesitate even to describe it that way, because this is not at all a mainstream fruity or fruitchouli flavor. This is one of the best fragrances that I've smelled in a LONG time. Something about it smells incredibly nostalgic. If you are a fan of patchouli fragrances, give this one a try. Completely unisex. Enchanting and intoxicating. Love.

Enchanting smoke spices... The red chilies, nutmeg mix is adding that tingly spices to the patchouli smoke base making this Middle Easter style blend quite enchanting. Thank GOD that i only detects tiny hints of raspberries in here as i believe it would ruin the blend if it were bit stronger and in your face style. After all, this blend is mesmerizing but honestly overpriced AH! 370 Euros! now i can't deny that the bottle is amazing but the cap is quite cheep that with time it gets too loose and easy to break! i guess it's plastic not glass.

Tested it on my hand in dubai. And just couldn't give up on it. It is so well blended and sophisticated smell. So artistic but simple. Can't understand why the reviews are so bad. Even bad at all. I it dosent project much and I hope the performance will increase over time, but still the smell is just so god damn amazing.

Rich scent! Full of spices, herbs abd balsamic notes. It actually smells a bit oily for me. Like a fir needle essential oil: aromatic, woody, slightly smoky and green. Love it! Probably it smells closer to patchouli essential oil, but I don’t remember smelling it :) Follow me on IG: scent.guide
