Morning Muscs

I had to delete my previous review and make a new one. I just opened my bottle and it seems to smell VERY different from what I had tested...I don't know how (maybe I had too many other scents on at the time or something), but anyways, here goes: This scent is Narciso Rodriguez edp with a much deeper, much dirtier musk and a more pronounced peach note. It makes me think of the sensual, lady-like Narciso Rodriguez edp stripped down nude and getting sweaty outdoors on the grass. You have the same feminine combination of peach and rose here just like in NR. But the musk is warmer and dirtier here, the base earthier and deeper and the peach note is also sweeter and juicier than the one than in NR. I don't really get citrus, especially not grapefruit, but maybe it just meshes really well with the peach. It's a sweet, proper lady with a very dirty secret bottled. TM's Womanity only wishes it can be this...um...'womanly'. I'm wearing it and I can't stop sniffing myself. It draws me in, and gives me abit of a weird, unsettling feeling, before pulling me back in to take another sniff. Definitely not for everyone. I do love it, it feels sort of natural and raw sitting on my skin with a welcome peachy-rosy sweetness, and is the sort of scent that can be effortlessly taken from day to night...but I admit I would feel abit embarrassed to be smelled by people with it on. NR edp is smoother, cleaner, and much easier to pull off in crowds, so that's the one I prefer (for now), but this one is much more addictive, richer, and more interesting...it had me sniffing myself like a complete maniac, just trying to figure it out, and NR has never had that kind of effect on me.

Happiness in the bottle 🎉 This scent uplifts my mood within seconds, it's just crazy. It was a blind buy suggested by my perfume advisor when i was searching for something summery and for daytime. And she nailed it. All along the way, from the first spray to its end I smell bright and beautiful rose (nothing dark and heavy like most of my rose perfumes), even if i don't detect fruits i think they give it this brightness and beauty. For me it's summer and spring perfume (it probably depends in which part of the world you live and how high temperature goes), and definitely not a perfume for winter cause i love to smell way richer in cold months. Longevity is good. Projection is ok. Safe blind buy for rose lovers. Even if people judge its packaging, to me it's unique and cute. It's like nothing else on my perfume shelf. It stands out. I see a lady casually but classy dressed. She's wearing flats. This lady looks clean and it's clear she takes good care of herself and of details when it comes to her appearances including the smile on her face. She's wearing beige, light pink, white... And she smells like Morning Musc.

I must admit that after getting this I was kind of disappointed. The box and bottle are absurdly tacky: seeing them in picture just doesn't compare to the "real" thing. It's the most vulgar bottle I've ever met. I've read comparison both with Narciso Rodriguez and with Mitsouko. I'd say they are both kind of correct, on some aspects. There's a warm, dense, peachy undertone and a ton of rose. It's extremely sweet indeed but has a very floral sweetness. Rose usually doesn't work on me, but this one is absolutely brilliant. There's also a lot of patchouly going on, and the musk is pretty much an undertone. A really lovely scent for spring but I'm happily wearing this also during summer.

This is the first bottle I have purchased from this house. First yes the bottle is very unique but I wouldn't say tacky or ugly. It sure is like nothing else on the market and that is why I love it! I am a collector so finding something besides a glass bottle in various shapes with basic labels is fun! I think the bottle is exciting. And who displays boxes anyway! The fragrance is very powerful in the beginning! A LOT of rose, orange and lemon! Zesty and exciting! If you love floral rose this is for you! And I do! The fragrance longevity is spectacular! I smell it at my desk all day! Drys down into a very satisfying musky peach! I will buy another from this house for sure!

I must admit, I approached my sample of Morning Muscs with extreme caution. Not knowing what to expect from the Patchouli note, especially. I was very pleasantly surprised! The opening really projects fruity, bright and sparkling without unneccesary sweetness. The fruitiness calms down and smoothly transitions into florals with unexpected depth resulting in a subtle, rich, sillage. The drydown brings a classy gentle musk. Longevity is excellent. MM is ideal for late winter, spring, fall and breezy summer evenings. MM smells unique and much more expensive than its price tag. It's also totally unisex, imo. Overall: 8/10

Beautiful, sunny, almost dreamy... an extraordinary perfume! Ethereal and delicate, a vivacity that is released right away! In fact, immediately from the first notes the perfume turns out to be very fresh and joyful, almost as if it takes you by the hand with it in a whirlwind of colors and scents .... really beautiful! Sillage: 8.5 / 10 Longevity: 9./10 Scent: 9./10 Overall: 9./10

Love this. It's a contradictio in terminis: it's bright yet warm, inoffensive yet unique, aquatic yet powdery. It lifts my mood immediately. Tested it in summer, but loved it even more in the fall.

Not a bad perfume if you can get past the first 20 screechy minutes. Morning Muscs seems less of a musk and more of a syrupy peach bomb in the style of sharp chemical hairspray or fruity shampoo with synthetic musk at first. Once the perfume calmed down, it smoothed out considerably into a juicy floral. I could smell a quality rose and even less of a succulent violet mingling with trace amounts of mossy soil. With notes of citrus, peach, and moss, it starts to sound like Mitsouko. But they could not be more different. This is not a chypre at all. It's a floral-fruity for sure. It's charming and feminine, a nice spring or summer option, and sillage is polite. Great casually if you just want to smell clean and sweet. Also great for teenage girls who are ready to graduate from body sprays.

Smells more like Narciso Rodriguez EdP (light pink bottle) than Miss Dior Cherie. Maybe 80% NR EdP and 20% MDC. It’s Narciso Rodriguez EdP with more depth and sweetness because of the earthy oakmoss and toffee, and with a very light squeeze of citruses to add a touch of brightness. But musk, rose and peach are the dominating notes (like NR) to my nose. It is superior to Narciso Rodriguez EdP, but not as rich/sweet/complex as Miss Dior Cherie. The toffee isn’t very pronounced, it’s more like undertone of warm, subtle sweetness. Since I like NR EdP and I love MDC, I quite like this one...who knows, I might get a bottle someday. Edit: the notes list should include iris in the heart notes.

One thing I can say about Morning Muscs is that it lasts the entire day. It may not be strong, it is more of a light scent but you can still smell it when you walk or if there is wind. I haven't gotten any compliments...yet. On me I get earthy, powdery and floral notes. When I first sprayed this on me I got a strong smell of nail polish remover, as it dried down it started to settle into an earthy and powdery fragrant. It is unique, never smelled anything like this. I suggest for others to test this out first before purchasing.

I agree with AveParfum, just plug your nose for the first 20 minutes and wait for this perfume to turn into a lovely and potent spring floral scent. I'm glad the opening didn't last long because I almost got a headache. All I get is sweet peach and rose before the musk drydown. I can imagine wearing this as the weather turns warmer. My only complaint with this brand is their over-the-top packaging. It's too much of a good thing and their bottle design borders on tacky. I think they need classier packaging to match their juice.

I blind bought this one after seeing a review where they said that it was one of their most complimented frangrances EVER, and that if you liked Narciso Rodríguez' Musc Noir Rose, this would be totally up your alley. With Musc Noir Rose being one of my favourites, I had to buy it. Well... It's definetly not Musc Noir Rose, but it's a lovely clean freash scent. Longevity is really good, it's been 12 hours since I sprayed it and I can smell it on me like if I just sprayed it 20 minutes ago. The bottle is definetly unusual.

I'll update the review once I test it more but after the first sniff it gives me a strong vibe of Cassandra Rose Intense by Jeanne Arthes, with toffee addition. Cassandra costs about 4 EUR so it's a very peculiar connotation. However, with time these two become more and more distinct - Cassandra stays litchi/rosy cake flavour, Morning Muscs leans more towards caramel musk/oud as if Cassandra grows up from a girl to young woman. :)

Bubbly and effervescent in the opening. Patchouli in middle, and a beautiful crisp citrus in the drydown. This was a blind buy, as most of my perfumes are, and when I was deciding whether I should get it, I remember reading a review (not on this website) describing it as "energetic". Somehow, I agree. This is a feminine perfume; cannot see a man wearing this. Will update with performance.

This is a beautiful musk. I don't get any peach at all, lots of creamy, fluffy musk, touch of rose and patch, subtle sweetness and citrus. I got this perfume as a gift, the opening is very feminine with a very distinctive fruity and floral notes, people who know Damas Rose( wared Jouri), they ll be able to identify it clearly.For me, it is a floral and musky perfume so it is very frustrating for people who are into masculine perfumes.

This is beautiful. To my nose, it’s like a brighter, less sweet, muskier, and cleaner take on the original Coco Mademoiselle. A bit fresher in the air, but still elegant and feminine.

Powdery sweet musk with rose. Nice. If you like rose centered fragrances this is worth having in your collection. It’s sweet without being jammy at all.

Very pleasant perfume, can agree resembles Dior Cherie very much. This is a nice catch, recommend.
