The Majestic Amber

Sweet and sour Peach candy,that's what comes to mind. I received some vials from store,one of them is Majestic Amber ,I then wear it out. My husband comes from work ,he opened our bedroom door and said.."hmm this smells good, what are you wearing?" I'm surprised because I wear another higher price niche but he rarely asked.But this underrated gem catch his attention. Definitely it's on my lists..voila..now I have it

Between a like and okay, I’m still very much surprised. Looking at the notes—and what this is voted as most similar—I thought for sure I would dislike it. Peach and ambroxan are two notes that can give me problems. Here, it’s blended well into a powdery soft dessert—but unfortunately leans overall too sweet for me. And, having tested Ananda Dolce by M. Micallef recently, I must report they do not remind me of each other. Ananda Dolce was so over the top synthetic that I could not fathom wearing it, the definition of a scrubber. I like Majestic Amber and I’m betting many others will like it too. My only real negative is the name, I don’t think of this as an Amber scent, instead it’s a gourmand. Not my style, but it’s also not offensive.

This perfume smells exactly how it looks like. I see a 1920–30s elegant socialite who is wearing a silky golden dress and talks about her oriental travels... Amber is definitely the most prominent note followed by vanilla, which usually isn’t my favourite note, but this one is not too artificial or overwhelming. I can’t smell peach or grapefruit at all, for me, there is nothing fresh about this fragrance. It’s really amazingly feminine, seductive and it smells like luxury. Even though I really like this perfume, I won’t repurchase it in its full version because it’s something I would wear on special occassions only.

The opening is balsamic and herbal with an underlying play doh essence. I don’t like this for the first 20 minutes or so, but once it settles down the toffee, vanilla, and peach all come through more. It smells identical, like 1:1 perfect, to amber perfume blocks that I’ve purchased in Morocco and Turkey. This is one of my favorite layering scents in an oil or solid perfume form, but I don’t care for it as much as a spray. It’s beautiful, truly, but for me it’s better as an accompaniment and not the star. So far, I’ve enjoyed Majestic Amber the most when layering it with my rose heavy perfumes.

The opening accords reveal the tart fruitiness of grapefruit, touched by a faint alcoholic nuance. These quickly give way to the warm sweetness of dessert-like toffee. Pleasant and enveloping, it lingers for several hours.

Majestic Amber smells like a sweet peach drizzled in toffee surrounded by bouquets of roses. Smells really nice and it lasts long too, it can get cloying so spray less. On the site it mentioned the notes of tonka beans.

Was given the sample pack for the full majesty line after buying my wife two bottles of the jardin at Dubai duty free. Was also told the full line was unisex but after trying the amber i would definitely say this is very feminine. Scent itself is very sweet amber with heavy florals and slightly woody. Performance is sold 10 hours and sillage is very strong for the first hour i mean very strong then it settles. Overall scent was too sweet for me personally.

Marzipan, walnuts and a lactonic creaminess. Reminds me of a weird dish that my grandma used to make me as a child. It was spaghetti, finely crushed walnuts and sugar. But I loved it.
