The Majestic Musk

It's clearly not a summer perfume if that's what you're looking for, although I'm a man, I can say that the perfume can be worn by men too, if you're the type who wants to try something new and different, it's worth it, the intensity and persistence of the perfume in most cases may differ depending on the PH and other factors such as skin moisture etc. (for example, it lasts 7-9 hours on me + another 2 hours of skin scent depends on the temperature, humidity and hydration of the skin, on my girlfriend it lasts 5-7 hours + 1 hour of skin scent and that's because we have different PH, so I can say that it will influence it much).I recommend to be worn more in autumn and winter. Update: As much online shop say is feminine in drydown goes in the area of D&G The One EDP (The Majestic Musk same like NOVELLISTA Deep Moon wich is like 95% a 1:1 resemblance of D&G The One EDP only with beast mode if you spray more then 3 times you get a 8+ hours and a very good projection in first 3hours while D&G The One is much softer but cheaper)

First time I sprayed it on my local perfume store,I didn't like it, it smelled odd,and I ended up buying something else.the SA gave me 3 vials from art deco collection.2nd time I tried it at home,I'm in love .Majestic Musk is soft powdery sweet you definitely can smell all of the notes, the spicy notes from pepper,the fresh notes from bergamot and juniper, the powdery scent from Heliotrope and iris,the sensual from tonka Sandalwood and suede. It's musky without musk notes, beautiful and definitely underrated

Just got this and honestly its so weak! I may have to spray 500 sprays to smell it. Beautiful bottle and beautiful packaging! For the price I should be able to smell my fragrance!! The Majestic Musk should be called The Disappearing Musk.

For powdery lovers. Cosy and warm, I prefer it for cold days. Heliotrope, tonka and iris. Soft and delicate. It is not a bold fragrance to my opinion. Very easy to wear, not offensive. I cannot smell pepper...

Yes... At the opening, this perfume speaks to my soul deeply convincingly. Straightforward pepper surrounded by softer notes of helianthrope and elemi. Very noticable juniper which adds a woody, natural aroma. That would be enough pleasure for me but then there is the base of perfume. And it comes with a conflict. The iris smells a little sweaty on my skin and I don' t like its sweetenes. Somehow it reminds me vanilla, although it isn' t in the composition. Drowned in powdery. Takes away from the majesty and gives nothing in return. The fragrance is very original. Spicy, autentical, mysterious. Inspiring for the test, definitely. The investment is questionable... Sillage intimate, longevity moderate (about 3 hours).

My last of the Art Deco Collection, Majestic Musk should have been called Majestic Tonka. It goes on bright and spicy, dry down into a soft powder with florals. It’s pretty and inoffensive, Majestic Musk smells like a designer frag, leaving me underwhelmed. This is my least favorite of the line.

Dont know why this is called musk its a powdery floral fragrance. The iris note is quite pleasant but as fragrances go this one is pretty poor and the performance is 10/12 hours but its so faint and its got zero sillage, big disappointment this one, I really enjoy musk scents and this just isnt a musk fragrance.

Half-transparent scent, however I feel something like a hint of sigarret smoke on a leather jacket. There is nothing Majestic in here :(

Not for me. Synthetic-powdery with a whiff of run-of-the-mill musk.

Valentino Noir pour Homme and VC&A Orchid Leather have this same iris-suede-heliotrope feel, sweetened by tonka in the base. Madeline Masque Milano has that nutty side too, but is far sweeter, like dragee. A short way to describe this types of fragrances for me is tonka +sandalwood base, which radiate from underneath the prevalent attention drawing "dry root" (or sweet raw nut paste) thicker layer on top, with a dash of something peppery to draw you in. Here, Valentino's pepper note is substituted with pink peppercorn which makes the peppery side less dense, but projecting a bit more sharp but sheer, which helps with reaching into the more feminine pepper fragrances territory. Heliotrope supports the nutty side of iris (together they "sound" to me more earthy like orris root) and give lovely boost to the suede, which is the same as in Orchid Leather. Sandalwood rounds all this and I wouldn't immediately tell there's juniper note. But now that I know this after seeing the pyramid - I feel as if there's Juniper Sling by Penhaligon's in there somewhere. But since Juniper Sling is indeed a rather quiet, "white" in color, musky, milky and slightly powdery perfume, I can see now this juniper note and how it plays here. Now ... I must say that this perfume isn't something I'd sniff in a store and buy it on the spot. I took a chance with it. And I'm glad I did. It's definitely not for everyone, and not for a blind buy. But it works great for me with some suede/leathery notes I recently got obsessed with (like Suede et Safran by Nishane - I loooooooove this combination) and few others. I love it with other juniper perfumes too and because of it Valentino Noir turned even more boring to me, ever since Orchid Leather previously outranked it already. It's been a while and I wonder how long The Majestic Musk is going to capture my attention, alone or as a "featuring artist" ... but although it doesn't make me swoon, I somehow keep going back to its a little unusual for me scent profile, which however quickly becomes popular in the niche world like Madeline by Masque Milano for example. It does give a slight musky vibe - a very faint powdery tonka floral. So subtle it's barely there, but what is there is really gorgeous, trying to put my finger on what it's strongly reminding me of. It's the elemi and the juniper...perhaps Eau Duelle by Diptyque. If you spray in your elbow creases you can actually smell it. Nice, but not at this price point way too faint. Second testing - very strong juniper!

@Perfume_madness I can't agree more!! I got a sample and i love the smell but it really fades away in 20 minutes!!! Zero projection, 2/10 longevity, not worth the price tbh. 👎

Roasted hazelnuts, chalk, wet soil and a LOT of parsnip. Strange scent.
