The Majestic Oud

Although it is a perfume that I see has received a lot of negativity, I can only say that PH also matters a lot and other factors that can influence it, although I used it in winter and autumn and early spring, I can say that it lasts best in winter and autumn (And smell different in all 3 season I used), Tommy Hilfiger Impact EDP is very similar, only the difference is in the middle and drydown where Alexandre J smells like someone said of dark chocolate (although it doesn't appear) with the aroma of raspberry and blackcurrant (like a tart) where TH Impact EDP in the drydown leaves me the impression of freshly washed socks.

Pretty straightforward oud fragrance with a nice touch of fruitiness/freshness on the open notes which mixes pretty good when it dries off, it softens the oud without shadowing it. But the oud is still here and is the primary note. Gives a really elegant vibe without taking all the space or suffocate people around you. The bottle and the delivery box are really insane, big kudo for this.

Blind Buy first experience. Light fruity green apple note mixed with woody, ambery strong base on the opening, which the fruity notes burn off quickly leaving with a low projection Oud mixed with old musty musky dusty antique store wood of a base scent. I actually enjoy it, kept going back for whiffs, but more to figure out it's story and appreciate the oud. The whole fragrance itself was just not that exciting for me. Although i can't physically claim it because im not at the factory/lab, but i actually believe im picking up on real Oud in this, and it's nice, but it's just so little projection. At the price they are charging it's worth the money for the Oud. But the scent itself is so low projecting, and kinda a non-exciting slightly out-dated wooden antique store dusty base, that i personally wouldn't buy it. I don't 'need it' in my life or collection, it's just not next-gen or exciting for me to own, not to mention projection fairly low you'd need more than 2 sprays for someone to smell you. I do 'like it' though, but it's not modern enough of a dna for me to wear. It's pretty weak of a dna and boring vs all the other exciting stuff out there. 2.5/5 Woofs

Smells like Fernet Branca and i love it. Although the apple is quite noticeable too. I'll expand on the review after I've tried it for a longer time.

Synthetic wood combined with the sage is creating a smoky mesquite note. I imagine this smell would make a good seasoning rub on red meat. I also think I’m picking up a charred smell in Majestic Oud. The only other note I can distinguish is patchouli. Alexandre J. is more often a miss than a hit with me. Not something I’m interested in wearing again, but can I imagine this might work well on a cowboy or a cattle rancher.

Citrus heavy fragrance with musk i dont really pick up any oud in this fragrance not sure if the musk and citrus are just overpowering the oud but i cant smell any oud in this one. Performance was really disappointing on this one was expecting way more. Its a skin scent right from the start and just doesn’t last well at all. 4/5 hours in and its gone.

This smells like woody toothpaste. Not a fan.

Tobacco, patchouli, black pepper, cypriol and a hint of dark chocolate. Elegant, soft blend even though the notes sound harsh. Potent but definitely not too strong. For fans of: Royal Oud by Creed and perhaps Irish Leather by Memo but better than both in my opinion! Edit: Would've never guessed there was tons of fruit in the top, I can't sense even a hint of fruitiness in here.

Fragrance that is initially imperceptible, then gives way to notes of slightly animalic Oud. Inspired by the glories of the 1920s and Art Deco, I don't know, it didn't convince me. Not suitable for me.

Pretty much a grabber, not too niche, appreciate the wet fruits erupting out of the wet soil as mid starts, not Oud heavy.

this would be good only if it came with a 30 USD price tag. nothing remotely strong or oud heavy

Black pepper, incense, coca cola, leather and a hint of castoreum. Elegant, dry and masculine.
