69 Fahrenheit

This scent just took me through a trip down in memory lane as I was only in my early teenage years when I last smelled this. So classic so nice 1990s just came back 69 Fahrenheit is the reminiscent of the vintage release for Dior Fahrenheit performance test projection strong for first 4 hours then going smoother but not a skin scent directly. Still there and actually complimented by my daughter 16 hours later A very well done scent with an unbeatable price

I pretty much agree with the previous review. This is a reinterpreted/deconstructed take on vintage Fahrenheit, with the petrol accord (to my nose, a result of how the citric top notes and violet leaf octine esters interact) removed and a medicinal sweaty nutmeg "body odor" accord amped up a bit. Additionally, the fougerey "aftershavey" aspects of the original are gone, making this a bit more of a straight up chypre than Fahrenheit is. 69 Fahrenheit focuses on the late summer/vernal (insects chirping, cut grass, sweltering heat fever dream) aspects of the original, with a vivid chamomile/hawthorne/honeysuckle floral soapiness, a bit of an ozonic methyl octine ester green violet leaf, and a lot of Terre d'Hermes-esque iso-e super/vetiver in the base. There are not much in the way of top notes to discuss here and I prefer to wear even the modern Fahrenheit formula, but this is an interesting novelty fragrance if you want to smell that specific aspect of Fahrenheit amped up.

Great job. It's a bit more funky in the opening that what I remember from Fahrenheit but it is dense, bold and it lasts. When spraying I see the perfume oils stay on my skin for 2~3 min while the alcohol evaporates. This is indeed highly concentrated and the 'parfum extract' claim seems plausible.

I love the way the older vintage Fahrenheit smells on my husband. This was supposed to be a dupe or inspired by fragrance. While the opening is spot on to the originals opening smell, the disappointment is in the dry down. Very very quickly it fades and turns to a much weaker scent that leans away from Fahrenheit all together. I would not purchase this again just because of the performance and staying power is ultra lacking.

Dry down is similar...the great classic petrol opening is no where to be found. Longevity is above average...projection is average. If you like the opening of Fahrenheit and can’t live w/o it, pass on this. If you like the dry down of the OG but not the opening, this might be for you. Either way, always worth getting a sample and checking it for yourself.

Dior Fahrenheit EDT is goat. This clone hits the gasoline note pretty hard in the opening (the people below saying it doesn’t get there are trippin’). The dry down just isn’t as interesting. Instead of Fahrenheit leather it goes to like a generic floral, fresh linen powdery place. But this is worth it for the gasoline note alone. It’s as exciting as Fahrenheit in that regard. I was impressed. Another one I have is dead dinosaur which doesn’t hit the petrol high notes like this does (though it has a more interesting dry down).

A spot on recreation of vintage Fahrenheit. It's quickly becoming my go-to scent just as strongly as the original was back in 89 when I first discovered it and it smells as contemporary as ever. Note: Giving this one time to macerate is key! Once yours arrives, let it mature for two weeks before you wear it. The scent will change over that time and be a wonderful match for this classic all-time great fragrance. Perfumer Hany Hafez has crushed this offering. This is an underappreciated gem and a wonderful price!

I haven’t smelled the OG Faherenheit but this stuff smells great! It smells very similar to my 2018 bottle of actual Dior but there’s definitely that emphasis on the petrol end of the scent. Longevity and projection seem right about in line with the actual Dior product as well.

It certainly passes through Fahrenheit, but the dry down is significantly different: much more woody. I’m happy to own this—it’s a novel interpretation of Fahrenheit, so definitely not redundant. But if you’re looking for a cheap alternative, this isn’t really either.

Please do not blind buy this thinking it's a vintage Fahrenheit clone. To my nose? Far from vintage. This smells more like the current version than vintage. They are both priced the same. Do yourself a favor and just buy Dior's Fahrenheit.

@Ericka I haven't smelt 69 Fahrenheit but perhaps it is closer to an older formulation of Dior Fahrenheit? That or they loved the house of Alexandria which after smelling Invidia, I don't exactly blame them. Alexandria puts out good dupes.

I don't get it. Why do people even consider buying this? Dior Fahrenheit isn't expensive and this comes in a 60 ml bottle for $60. Not even cost effective.

Fahrenheit but without the classic gasoline note. Slightly disappointed as that was my favorite part, but I'll still be wearing this.
