95% identical to original. Just make sure you let it settle in and sit for a couple of weeks. The only issue with AF fragrances is that they need to settle because they are fresh batches.

I didn't care for the top or middle notes: because I like woodsy leather mineral and earthy. But I was pleasantly surprised by the dry down. The base is more masculine than the rest and the sillage is pretty good. The base is sweet but earthy. It has substance, if only a little. I like untraditional fragrances that aren't boring, but this one is one my wife and I can agree on. She likes more traditional scents. She would like this one and I would not be bored with it. Might buy the full size

This is my 7th or 8th Alexandria and now- and I am getting the "hang of it". As of now- my advice to newbies is this: STICK with the ones that seem like direct clones & come with glowing reviews of "smells like ______ 90% accurate" and "95% exact!" . All others by this brand would not be safe bets or blind buys. Now thus far NONE of them have been bad or even blah. At worst they will be OK even after a while there is a sameness going on-- especially with anything "rose" or "patchouli" or "wood". That said...... I know NOTHING of the original Accento that this is a copy of. It merely sounded good n' niche, and I needed "something new" to get me out of my comfort zone. Pineapple hooked me in, and although this is sweet, pineapple is not a distinct player even though it's noted above. I do get an amber/pepper/iris vibe, still nothing SINGS out. I expected this to be a longevity monster, but I only got it 4 hours ago and as the person below me said to "let it sit" for a while because it's so new (to me, anyway). Longevity seems fair as of now. Nothing ground breaking or unusual but it DOES smell nice and high end so we shall see if anything develops. UPDATE: I stashed this away for months and just tried it again. This is better than I had thought and I do get more pineapple than before! This is more complex than most by Alexandria. You MAY get a wink of a Dior Homme vibe with a bit of pineapple and hyacinth . This is nicer than when I first tried it! I guess, it's true. These need to sit around for a while and get "ripe" . Happy to rediscover this . EDIT: This is quite strong as well ! You should be smelling this all day with 4 sprays.
