Alexander The Great

This might be one of my favorite Oud based fragrance from this house. Will definitely be buying a bottle. It’s very complex, I get woody, oud and powdery rose. Definitely sample it but very luxurios profile. You’ll definitely stand out with this fragrance.

Good, but ... I'm going to leave the same review on all the products that I have purchased over the past month, since it essentially applies to all of them. I was reading reviews on many of these products and was struck with the amount of five star reviews and wanted to give a handful of products a try, so I purchased somewhere in the neighborhood of $600 worth of products from this house. The scents themselves, in general, are quite nice but my problem is with longevity and performance. When I am spending upwards of $60 or $100 on what is technically a clone fragrance I expect quite a lot in return and feel like this house simply did not live up to that. I took into account I may have gone nose blind...so I was continually asking for third party opinions on what they could smell and universally no matter what scent I was wearing after a couple of hours nobody could smell anything. This is very troubling because I could have spent 1/5 the price in many cases and got significantly better performance from a different 'clone' house. So Bad Alexandria Fragrances Alex The Great Extrait De Parfum.

Pleasant and people pleasing...but redundant. Whether Xerjoff or AF, the dry down of this is too close Uden/Luxor Summer to warrant purchase. Goes on with nice blend of woods and lavender. Dries down to a nice creamy sandalwood/vanilla with oud adding depth and complexity. Longevity is not as great as other AFs. Projection is pretty soft as well. If you do not already have Luxor Summer, check this out. I will say the dry down of both is extremely nice. I like the citrus opening of Luxor Summer more...a bit more complex.

Alexander the Great? This is the stuff that did him in. Very powerful frag. Opening smells like bug repellant. Thankfully, settles down into a unique, woody scent. Amber and lavender accords. No undertone or nuance. Typical clone jambalaya. Retitling this: “The Fall of Macedonia.” Nice fragrance VG 😛

Smells a lot like Carlisle, nice, deep dark scent full of chocolatey woodsy notes.

The smell is there. But, it simply doesn't last like the real thing. Which is sad because this is a tough one to find good dupes of. They would have hit a home run it if it was simply stronger and more concentrated.

Not one of my favorites from this house. Reminiscent of hand sanitizer or a doctor's office waiting room. Sits close to the skin almost immediately.

I have no idea how Xerjoff Alexandria II smells like, but for the price, I ordered its clone here. Smells okay, but has no staying power at all. It is just a skin scent on me. I don't even notice I am wearing anything unless I reach to my arm. For a premium clone, I guess one can define them as such, it should offer better performance. In fact, bare mortals that can't afford the niche pedestal, rely on "cloners" to make it as close as possible to the originals. And they are paying a premium for that.

Alright so this suppose to be Xerjoff Alexandria II or inspired to be like it , and i gotta say this is no where near it not in the opening , its get a tiny bit better on the dry down with a bit of spice but Xerjoff is miles and miles ahead far from this , i would say it around 40% at best similar to Xerjoff Sillage : 5 Longevity: 5 i wouldn't recommend buying this if you want something close to Alexandria II.

I'm a fan of Alexandria Fragrances. I own eight full bottles and have ordered four sets of samples. I like a lot of what they do. This should have been called Alexander the Okay. It's not great. It smells nice and had good staying power, but nothing I would get an entire bottle of. It reminds me of something from the late eighties or nineties.

I get a MIP feel on this one. its pretty casual laid back good fall winter and spring . decent projection but the scent is not overpowering. its unisex. you will get that Johnson and Johnson baby oil feel on this one.
