Alexandria’s 007

Alexandria 007 vs. Intoxicated by Killian. There is not much that I can say about this test but WOW! When I asked Hany Hafez how close these two were he said "to my nose, 1000%". He could not be more right. From open to close they are 100% identical. If there is a difference, my nose cannot detect it. 007 is rich, dark, sweet, and sexy! The coffee note is so good wrapped inside the cardamom, the cinnimoin brightens the top up, while the nutmeg adds a creaminess to it. It is art in a bottle, and I really love this fragrance. 007 has monster projection. From the test card it projected in the corner of my bedroom for at least 24 hours. I could smell it in the air every time I walked by my dresser. On the skin, I got 3 solid hours of arms length+ projection. 007 needs a warning label concerning trigger control... lol. 007 pulls away from Intoxicated in the longevity department. Holding my 4 day old test card in my hand, the smell is still very strong. On my skin, I got all day performance 8+ hours. The drydown is rich, easily detectable, and heavy. Coworker's reactions is where I was reminded that as a frag head your artistic taste may diverge from mass pleasing... lol. I asked 20 female co-workers their opinion on the fragrance. All of them really liked it, but none were as in love with 007 as I am. The most common response was, "yeah, it's okay... it doesn't smell bad". On the other hand, not one female co-worker could tell the difference between 007 or Intoxicated. One girl stated, "that this was the first fragrance you have given me that I literally can't tell the difference. It's a 100% copy". Overall, 007 is amazing! If you love Intoxicated pull the trigger on 007. IMO it is a perfect substitute, with great performance, and a much better price point than Intoxicated. Definitely, bottle and backup bottle worthy.

I've held off on a review of this because originally I didn't understand what I was smelling ... I tried this before trying the OG. So after having smelled the OG, also owning A*Men, this is what I came up with. It's very similar to the OG, not a heavy dose of coffee but neither does the original. In opening, you get a heavy dose of cardamom, with the rest of the notes coming in shortly afterward... bit of a sweet spicy combo. It's about 95% close to Intoxicated. A*Men is harsh on the opening but very similar on the drydown to both.

Perhaps this hasn't macerated enough yet, but this is a lot "fresher" than I expected it to be. At the start there is a sort of aromatic/ clean vibe. I've never smelled the OG, but the OG lists aldehydes and Balsam Fir which isn't listed on 007. I definitely get both of those notes in this one. I also get the spices, mainly cardamom and nutmeg. Unfortunately, I get zero coffee from this. Zip... Zilch. All that said I am really liking this so far, it smells great and seems to last most of the day.

Delicious gourmand fragrance! Spicy sweet DNA that lures everyone around you in a bit closer. Cardamom blends with the nutmeg and cinnamon extremely well. Coffee note gives it depth. Awesome how a few notes can combine to make such an “intoxicating” fragrance. Longevity is great as is the projection. Perfect for fall and winter for both men and women. Easy recommend from me...although I always recommend getting a sample first.

I don't care how much it is or isn't something else. It stands on its own nicely. I don't know but, it seems to me that in many of its "clones", AF is saying "Hmm, I'm inspired by that, let's see how we can improve it and make it very accessible to our customers". AF is the Costco of Perfumers, more and better for our "Members" at a better price.

007 is 95% to that of Intoxicated at 75% less in price. The opening is the only thing different (Intoxicated a bit brighter/bubblier), which lasts about 15 minutes before they become indistinguishable. Excellent representation. Scent: 9/10 Projection: 8/10 Longevity: 8/10 Value: 10/10

To my nose, this is 95-99% similar to Intoxicated. Opening to dry-down. Because Intoxicated smells similar to A*Men, obviously this will remind people of A*Men as well. But it is more close to Intoxicated. Huge silage and excellent longevity. I highly recommend.

Super sexy Spice BOMB! Not the frag, just my favorite spices with coffee to smooth it out. Delicious. Very Unisex, and 2 sprays lasts me all day.

Simply blown away. Cinnamon, Cardamom & Coffee was so delicately poised. I wish I could drink it. 🤩

This is not an Intoxicated inspired clone, not to my nose. I think you’ll be disappointed if you’re expecting a clone of Intoxicated. What it is is an Angel Men inspired fragrance. From the initial spray, that’s exactly what comes flooding to my senses. There is no rubbery undertones, but the rest is there. Not sure if there is patchouli in the mix, but the vibe is there. For the price that A Men is, I’d rather pick the original for its uniqueness if I had to pick one. But if you’re not overly fond of the rubbery undertones, then maybe check it out. It’s a strong fragrance, so maybe easy on the trigger until you discover your sweet spot. Happy to have in my collection regardless of owning A Men, it’s a very good fragrance.

I'm not familiar with Intoxicated but this definitely bears a resemblance to A*Men. Impressive dark, spicy, sweet, coffee. I'm not sure how often I'll reach for it since it is apparently a major attention grabber. For those of you who are into garnering compliments, this one will do the trick. Exactly 100% of the people I came in contact with today (3 people... I kept myself isolated in my office all day) gushed over how good my perfume smelled today. Once at 8am, once at 3pm, and once more at 6pm. Needless to say the performances of this perfume is stellar. Even with just two sprays under my shirt, it seemed to fill the room and has lasted well into the evening.

I ordered a sampler of 7 different Alexandria fragrances which included one labeled "Angel 007". My impression is that it is a copy of A*Men. I'm wearing them side by side and it's close, but 007 leaves out the caramel and vanilla and cranks up the spices. I was hoping for more of a coffee note but its overpowered by something that smells more like licorice and anise. More spicy than sweet and lasts all day with arm's length projection. I like this, but I like A*Men more.

A smoothed out TM A*Men.....???....kinda. Imo, this is A*Men without the skankiness. (I prefer A*Men !!!) In the 007 drydown...a tad of those pungent A*men notes to try to come out...so....I like it....but it is a 80-85% dupe only.

This is similar to AMen without being super rubbery smelling. I do like it but don't love it. For the money I would say stick with the Mugler but if you don't like the super rubbery aspect this may be more to your liking. Enjoy!

A men with loads of caramel note , for me A men is far better . This smells more like a women perfume .

This smells great, I've never tried the original so I can't compare. Longevity is good at around 7-8 hours, sillage is minimal and projection is mild (aside from first hour; then it becomes more of a scent bubble). I find that I prefer the opening and early mid to the dry down. The opening has this really nice citrus (bergamot likely but it's not listed) that plays off of the herbal spices (I smell lavender too), but burns out at around the 2 hour mark. It then dries down into a mostly creamy spicy herbal fragrance similar to lalique's l'insoumis. This is more of an old school type fragrance, so I would say it appeals to 30 and up crowd.

Much like the original, this has ZERO COFFEE. I find a hefty dose of cardamom spice syrup. This is sweeter than the original and dosen't turn into soapy cologne on my skin in the dry down, it just remains spicy and sweet. I'm keeping this for layering with other unisex fragrances to make them shine in colder weather. Would not repurchase even though I find it more satisfying than the original. UPDATE Decluttered. If I'm in the mood for cardamom I'll reach for SWEETLY KNOWN (a stunning scent story) or NOIR EXTREME (a creamy spice bomb) over this. This has a bit too much "cologne" profile in the dry down for my taste.

A blast of spicy, herbal, coffee. I don't like this, but it feels well put together. If you like spicy powerhouses, them you may like this.

I absolutely love this scent. One of my favorites probably top 10 from 155 I've sampled from Alexandria. THIS is cardamom! One of my favorites spices to smell, this smells like very nice cardamom, to me the other notes marry together a bit as spicy(nutmeg) and sweet(cinnamon) but only to enhance the beautiful cardamom smell. I love to wear this to work, I'm a baker and it fits right in the environment. It's also great for layering. Works well for adding a touch of sweet and spicy gourmand notes to alot of other fragrances. I've layer this over H'ani(Ani by Nishane), it compliments the rich vanilla. I also love to layer this over Cypress springs (Bracken man by Amouage), I love cypress springs, right up there as top 5, maybe 6th favorite from this house, it's woodsy, a bit damp, spices are already in there(I believe nutmeg and cloves) which give it some subtle sweetness, but adding 007 makes it a bit brighter and a bit sweeter. the spices blend perfectly and while wearing them together I keep getting that lovely whiff of cypress, if you have both give it a try. It also works well with hafez 1984, probably other tobacco scents. It's simple composition of notes just makes it very easy to enhance other fragrances with. All in all it's a great scent on its own for sure, solid performance and great projection, easily lasts 7+ hours. One thing I don't really get is the name of this fragrance, and even the original. It doesn't scream "intoxicated" but I suppose one can be intoxicated by the pleasnt aroma of spices especially cardamom. But I have no clue what do ever this has anything to do with James bond/007?? Would never really think of James bond or any 007 film/character and associate it with this scent. I know by kilian has a fragrance called vodka on the rocks, now if Alexandria did an inspiration for that one, 007 would be a fitting name. Not that the name is all that important, what's in the bottle that matters, and this is definitely a great scent. Worth sampling especially if you like cardamom.

wow this was my very first purchase from the house of Alexandria Fragrances, when i first pulled it out the package my coworker wanted to know what it was, to my surprise he sprayed himself twice(before i could use it myself).The following day he called me to tell me he needs a bottle asap, said he has found his scent, said he was at a chill spot and this lady came up to him and was mesmerized, she wanted to know what fragrance he was wearing but he himself was oblivious so he played it smooth and told her he would need to ask his girlfriend because she got him it as a gift. Now he's pressing for a bigger bottle however 60ml isn't big enough for him. This fragrance is a must have for him. Myself however receives numerous compliments whenever i wear it:-) had a woman ran him down from 15ft away just to confirm the man behind the scent. ONE OF THE BEST RELEASES EVER HANDS DOWN
