Amai Mizu

First take is it's a nice variation of Alexandria Port, which is one of the best "fresh" scents ever for me. Since I wear fragrance for my own sense of Joy, Alexandria Fragrances is perfect for me because they do the whole spectrum, artfully. Some are outstanding, even better than the fragrance that inspired it, most as good as and I haven't had one yet that didn't please. One aspect of living a "Blessed Life" is pleasing scents and finding AF comes through.

I had Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme when it first hit the market in 1994. Today's formulation is no where near the same. This is an EXACT replica of the ORIGINAL formulation of L'Eau d'Issey from start to finish. A FULL BOTTLE WORTHY addition to your collection. I wear this fragrance almost daily layered with Dior Homme Sport 2012. By itself Amai Mizu is a sugary sweet citrus scent (to my nose) and has been lasting me 7+ hours with 5 sprays. Layered with Dior Homme Sport 2012 it becomes an intense candy citrus that really garners compliments. Alexandria really nailed this scent on its head and I couldn't be happier.

Spot on dupe with better longevity and sillage. 8 hours easily with 5 sprays. I have been wearing the OG since the mid 90's and whoever says this is not spot on is.....

Extremely disappointing, I bought it based on positive reviews online hoping it would be a superior version of Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme, as it was touted as being close to the original formulation. It just smells like hand soap, no where close to the depth of the d'Issey I bought in 2020. It even makes me feel a bit sick smelling it. I suspect some of these reviews on Google and this site are potentially fraudulent. No more blind buys for me.
