Was disappointed for a very long time. At first it was very subtle & bergamot forward... as ‘they’ say “anything worth having is worth waiting for...”, & now, after 2 years of oxidation, maturation- she’s come into her own & realized her full potential. I also enjoy many of the other iterations of this DNA but if you are specifically looking for the schmoop that most closely matches the og, only stronger as the aroma chems & molecular components are so much more concentrated in all Alexandria offerings, then this would be your girl for the job

I’m glad this was added to the data base! I absolutely love this perfume. I have never smelled the original so I am reviewing it as a stand alone fragrance. When I first got it, all I got was strawberry and citrus. Like strawberry lemonade mix.. however, months after, it settled into a beautiful strawberry milkshake! The citrus is still there but it is mute and a background player. Yummy!

I haven’t smelled the original Cry Baby but I’ve tried many dupes and this is the most citrus heavy one I’ve smelled so far. In fact, I don’t even get any strawberry—it smells like lemonade if anything. If you like lemony scents, you’ll love this, but I prefer something a bit more vanilla heavy. It has minimal sillage and lasts less than 2 hours on me.
