Bespoke

To me, Bespoke by Alexandria Fragrances is a little less potent than Royal Mayfair by Creed in the first hour or so, but has better staying power thereafter. I prefer that, as it's inconvenient for fragrances to start out overpowering but then taper off too much after an hour or two. Bespoke is clearly discernable after 8+ hours on my neck's pulse points. Bespoke smells close to Royal Mayfair in quality. Not quite there, but still better than most budget fragrances and thus a good value, especially since anything reminiscent of Royal Mayfair is hard to find. Bespoke is a smooth, simple, highly pleasing blend that is an excellent match for smart business casual attire in an office setting or for use in a traditional church service. Like Royal Mayfair, I would probably perceive it (if I were to smell it on someone else without knowing what it is) as a really pleasant premium shampoo. In Bespoke, pick up mostly a woody, piney rose. There is some fresh sweetness from the rose, but not much of the sparkly lime and gin that I get from the opening of Royal Mayfair. However, from start to finish, Bespoke is quite similar to the heart/middle of Royal Mayfair. Overall, I'd call it a bit of a woodier, denser, more linear alternative that is otherwise very comparable and certainly does smell of quality.

I have never tried the original so I am basing my review as a stand alone, but man does this smell good. Smells like clean money (figuratively). There is almost a neroli type scent to it (but none listed), but with depth. It got good sillage but is not overwhelming. I'm really liking this, it's like nothing I already own. Edit: I finally got around to trying the original creed and I think that Bespoke is around 95% accurate. Very good clone and highly recommended.

This seems a bit darker-smelling than Royal Mayfair, but is otherwise very accurate and a good substitute now that Royal Mayfair is no longer available. I'm missing a bit of the rose which brightens up the fragrance, and after some experimentation with half a dozen rose fragrances, layering Bespoke with a tiny bit of La Fille de Berlin does the trick!

Absolutely stunning from start to finish. A complete winner. Full Bottle and Blind Buy Worthy. This, to my nose, is very similar to Creed's Royal Mayfair. I am blown away by the quality. I hope everyone gets a bottle of this magical juice.

yes indeed an incredible scent. eucalyptus, some gin with lime, pine and some faint woods and rose. its all there. somethin different and its resemblance to royal mayfair is there. i love it
