Bleu Memoire

Wow! This is exactly like the dry down for Bleu de Chanel. The scent bubble that this provides make you envision an actual bubble that you are encapsulated in. Very similar to those that you may see in a science fiction movie. A force field of deep blue surrounding you. Everywhere you walk, it's there. Those that touch the Bleu bubble, can't help but feel good. Note: The Bleu Bubble does not go away for a long time. The makers at Alexandria's technological department made this protective field strong. Don't worry...it will only make you feel better as the day goes.

Bought this thinking it would be Blue de Chanel clone and I'll save you some time. This smells nothing like Blue De Chanel EDP at all. However, this is a really good smell regardless. Its not as dark as BDC EDP and not as complex. People like it on me regardless, lots of compliments. A very clean blue scent. A bit more aquatic than Chanel- kind of its own scent. This is more after-shave/shower gel coded as its not as complex and dark as BDC EDP^ like i stated, but people will still like it, it does kind of remind me of an old spice deodorant turned cologne-

Just received this and gave a few sprays. Very green, soapy, clean scent, almost reminds me of Irish Spring, not really BdC. Does project very nicely however. I have been told to wait a week or two for Alexandria frags to open up and develop, so I will update as time goes on. UPDATE: My goodness. This really opened up beautifully! It does have really good staying power and a WAY better scent than when I first got it. Does have a shower gel type vibe the BdC gives off to some but it just smells so damn good! Love this stuff, will definitely get it again!

I'm going to keep this short & sweet. BDC EDP is great. Yet, next to Alexandria Bleu Memoir, the Chanel is garbage. The Alexandria is AMAZING & is what the Chanel should be...and I love the Chanel. This is smoother, fresher, lasts longer, projects better & is cheaper. Get a sample, try it side by side with the Chanel & you'll never reach for the Chanel again. Can you yell that I absolutely LOVE Bleu Memoir? I adore this juice. This is a top 3 from the house. Hany killed it again.

Smooth, rich and deep. Projection is very good 4-5 hours and starts to fade gradually but lingers on, in my experience it stays overnight after using it at about 8 pm. Reminds you more of BDC edp while taking projection characteristics from the edt. Smells very pleasing, soothing and extremely classy. Another successful inspiration from the house

Contrary to some of the latest reviews, this inspired Bleu De Chanel clone is decent. It does smell similar to something falling in between the EDP and Parfum versions. This isn't an exact clone, but the average nose is going to think this smells really good if they would enjoy BDC. I like to wear this during my downtime to spare my actual Chanel for special occasions, or a more active day. This is a great daily driver to wear to the office, fresh and professional. An affordable alternative to buying BDC at retail prices. I have 4 of their Chanel inspired scents, and I'm satisfied with all of them.

first impressions.. It reminds me of bleu de chanel edp. It doesn't have the rough edges of the EDT. I haven't tried the bleu de chanel in a long time so I can't make a direct comparison, but this memoire has a very shower gel fresh type appeal. It's a very smooth bleu scent. Some citrus, some sweetness. I think its good, but I need more time with it. It might be a little too much like shower gel for me, but I will have to see and update this review in the future.. So far it's pretty good, I am not sure if it's better than the chanel or not. Good quality fragrance though for sure..

Agree with others. I have BDC EDP and ordered a sample of this as one of my periodic Alexandria calibrations. It’s BDC adjacent I’d say. It smells pretty different, but I think certainly decent. I almost get BDC in reverse, with more citrus coming out in the mid. This seems more shower gel-ish as well, and a somewhat less luxurious than BDC. I feel this smells like something you’d find at deep TJ Maxx discount. But people, in this sample set I also got Silver Wood, inspired (supposedly) by Dior Bois D’Argent. Booming freshness. Solid fragrance overall if you like your blue style fragrances. To me it comes off as a more citrusy take on Bleu De Chanel EDT. Still has that effervescent and fresh quality to it that's very addictive and professional but much more heavy on the citruses overall which isn't a bad thing as it gives it almost a sport flanker type of vibe. A moderate dose of sweetness would add a lot to this fragrance and maybe some musk overall to tie it all together but overall it is not bad at all, very designer like, aromatic and fresh.

I am a die hard AF fan but this one really smells like Old Spice; Swagger. Nothing much more to say except that this lasts FOREVER and the sillage is very good! Still high quality just not an accurate clone in my opinion.

It's somewhat similar but not a 1:1. It lacks depth and that smoky incense note that BDC has. I also have Iconic from Armaf and while it's a mess in the opening it's much close to the OG but an overall nice fragrance that l enjoy however l do prefer the opening of BM to Iconic but l like the dry down of iconic over BM. Also if you are looking for an aftershave to match BM or lconic check out Sterling Soap Co Deep Blue Sea they match up pretty good.

This smells good but it isn't a very accurate "interpretation" of Bleu de Chanel. Bleu de Chanel is much more complex and better mixed and has more citrus than this. The opening of this is kind of reminiscent of Bleu de Chanel but it quickly turns into a much more shower gelly and woody scent. It lasts a very long time and projects well. I don't regret buying it because it does smell good, it just doesn't smell like Bleu de Chanel.

I have both this cologne and Bleu De Chanel/BDC EDP. They are not the same. I find this cologne a bit metallic, piercing, and only has faint 'vibe' of BDC. BDC is darker and more potent, but this goes into the direction of metallic fresh. it's still a beautiful fragrance imo. If you are wanting BDC then I would suggest saving up and buying the real thing as getting this one won't scratch the itch you have for the original.

So if you purchase this thinking it'll smell like BdC you will be disappointed. This has some similarities of BdC but of the Parfum version and if you took that and gave it really edgy ginger/grapefruit and also it has some weird thing with it's woody/herbal notes, so take a lot of rough edges nothing similar to what Chanel is known for and then you pump those up to like ridiculous levels and that's what this is. It doesn't smell like BdC really, I keep trying to like this really I do, and I even got a compliment from someone while I was wearing this but see here's the problem, when I smell this and compare it to actual BdC it's like not even close at all. BdC EDP is a pleasure to smell imo, everything about it I like and everything is blended to the point where you get the feeling that all the notes are working together and that is the big difference here between Chanel and AF. AF for sure in some ways has made a simple clone of BDC Parfum but man it's not refined, it's not classy; it's like loud and sharp and it is kind of tough to wear sometimes because these notes are all amped up so high it's like sometimes they are just fighting each other for dominance and personally that's not me. If you haven't ever smelled BDC on yourself and are thinking of maybe test driving before you buy I get it because Chanel fragrances are expensive for a designer so I would actually recommend just going to something like Scentsplit or FragranceSplit, something like that and yes the price per oz isn't good generally speaking but it's going to give you what you want which is the actual BdC scent and then you can decide more accurately if you want to invest in the 100+ USD for the EDP or Parfum. If you are buying this because you can't afford BdC i understand; or if you just don't want to spend large amounts on scented oil/water then you are getting into the territory where buying this makes sense. If you never plan in any way to buy BdC itself then yes I would recommend this for the price. Having said that, it isn't quite close to what actual BdC smells like but hey its 40 bucks so meh. You are getting maybe 70% accurate if i had to put a number on it. In some ways the opening is similar but the drydown is just not really close at all and also the opening is way harsh and loud. This scent bubble is graphically strong whereas BdC is more about inviting ppl in or leaving a trail as you pass by; this thing just pushes out some little frankenstein BDC scent like really far; it's like Sauvage when you talk about projection / sillage and longevity and I know that's important to many people but I'd just stress that not all Fragrances are meant to be obnoxious, that's why there is so much divide between many of these bleu clean scents out today. So if you never plan on buying Chanel BdC and you want something where it'll push pretty loudly for a good amount of time then I'd say this is perfect for you..For everyone else I would just say buy the Chanel

First impressions: this is not a clone of BdC, it's a clone of Old Spice Swagger. Honestly I'm pretty disappointed by this from the initial few sprays. It smells like a cheap shower gel, not even close to BdC. I'm a fan of Alexandria, but this one is just way off for me.

A clone for half the price of the original! There are already quite a few designer clones of Bleu de Chanel in the market. Dior Sauvage. Bvlgari Aqua Amara to name a few. Not clones, but inspired by, just like this one. For example Bvlgari Acqua Amara costed me 50$ for 100 ML + 15 ML travelspray. Very, very good fragrances, scent and performance. When I first found AF's I thought it would be a great oppurtunity to try clones of overly expensive fragrances, for a fraction of the price. For me there is a limit on what I'm willing to spend on parfum. I mean, no parfum is worth the price of a decent stereo or smart phone for example. And if not for a financial reason, than at least for a moral one. It's just unfair for my wife and kidds. I have 2, 30ml of his inspirations. They are oke. Nice. Don't know and don't care if they are any match to the originals. But they are far from inexpensive. More recently Hany Hafez started cloning Popular Designer fragrances as well. (?) I wonder why? Lack of inspiration, or lack of patience? Patience to see his own creations become popular in our community? That might take years. Or maybe this is just an easy way to make a quick buck? Designer houses spend huge amounts on advertisement. Than there is the distribution. Considering that, his fragrances are way too expensive. And whatsmore, they have no artistical value whatsoever. in the end, they are clones. This is a very important issue since this is a highly suggestive hobby. I have no doubt that Hany Hafez is potentially a (very) good parfumeur but I don't see how this will help his career. In time he will get tired of cloning hundreds of fragrances. Soon he will run out of inspiration, sort of speech. And if not than the rather limited number of fans he has, will. By the time he will consider a career turn he will be struggling against the reputation he has built as a clone maker.

Deleted my original review. To begin with ; I was never a "blue/ bleu" fan to begin with . I got this as the third component in an "Ebay seller bundle". My bottle needed to macerate , for sure. This is a workable "blue" Dumb grab with nice "body" and decent projection. Bonus points as to smelling very smooth and natural. It is not more than 50% Chanel clone - and that's fine. It's an abstract scent-stew on the whole "blue" craze and I feel like I can almost smell BLUEBERRIES in this . IGNORE the list of NOTES posted above -- it's a joke . You ain't gonna smell ANYTHING from that . Don't blind buy thinking this is a Melon / Nutmeg / Lemon / Ginger cologne .

The original BdC EDT version smelled just a bit too sharp for my taste, but Alexandria Bleu Memoir EDP hits it out of the ballpark! The sharpness has been replaced with smoothness and improved performance. Alexandria Bleu Memoir EDP exudes class and charisma. It Should be in the fragrance wardrobe of every man who wishes to please not only himself but those around him! This is an all season fragrance in my opinion and a crowd pleaser.

Definitely shares characteristics with the great BDC. This is a very nice fragrance for everyday/office wear. Projects well for me for around 4 hours. Still easily detectable on the skin at the 10 hour mark. Good job on this one.
