Brooklyn Fragrance Lover

Like many others, I got a sample of Angel's Share, loved it, but did not love the cost of a full bottle lol. So after probably too much research, I picked up a 30ml bottle of BFL and never looked back. Now, after making it most of the way through my current 100ml bottle, I cannot overstate how much I love this scent. Over the last two years, this has genuinely become my favorite to wear. The compliments I've gotten definitely haven't hurt either - at work, at the movies, while grocery shopping, even at places like anime conventions. In my humble (and very biased) opinion, Alexandria Fragrances has managed to surpass the original in both depth and longevity. It lasts throughout the entire day for me (and often a little bit into the next), smells incredible from start to finish, and never gets overwhelming. The sillage does drop after 6-8 hours, but for BFL that's just going from a solid 5+ foot radius of delicious boozy (cognac) apple pie right after application to catching an amazing whiff of vanilla, cinnamon, and the perfect amount of powder when you move around the next morning. I know scents are seasonal and situational, and this is definitely more of a fall/winter+nighttime/date night, but it feels like a shame to limit it at all lol. I just want to smell like it 24/7 ☺️ Cannot recommend this one enough, thank you Alexandria Fragrances 🙏

I meant to do a review on this fragrance when it originally came out and I blind bought it. I legit bought it without even looking at the notes. Carlos had such a great channel and I had to buy the one fragrance paying homage to my fellow Brooklynite. Into the actual review... beautiful scent. I hadn't smelled the OG at the time, but this is def in the same ball park...if you let it mature 2-3 months... it gets VERY BOOZY, cinnamon, praline, chocolatey. This is easily my fav boozy gourmand. Great date night fragrance. Good projection, lasts at least 8 hours on my skin...def lingers in the air as you walk... I've gotten so many compliments, my wife loves it. The original has more woody notes to it, more masculine imo. This is truly unisex. I can't say it leans either which way... maybe very slightly masculine but not enough to vote "more masc". If you're looking to save some money, and you want a high quality smelling boozy gourmand - look no further. AF has the sample box you can get for $50 (I think it's 7 fragrance samples that come in little spray vials) ... completely worth it. Hany did right by Carlos with this one. RIP to one of the best to do it in the fragrance community.

Bought this fragrance off of the reviews I saw on here and I’m definitely not disappointed. Never smelled Angel’s Share, but this smells fantastic. It opens boozy for sure, but almost immediately it goes into apple and then it smells like an apple cinnamon roll all in about 5 minutes. I bought this for nights out and I can say it definitely fits that vibe. It’s very cozy and inviting. It had me a little nervous about the boozy part as I didn’t want to smell like I was tipsy, but it definitely doesn’t give that vibe. Performance is good i put it on this morning at 6:30am and can still smell it at 4:00pm. Would absolutely recommend.

I haven't smelled Angel's Share, but if this is in the ballpark...excellent juice. This is the kind of gourmand I can use. Big fan of the milky chocolate, vanilla, and Tonka beans combo. The cognac is here as a background dancer. Definitely unisex, anyone can pull this off but you need to like sweet, chocolate scents...that's mandatory because there's a lot of that in this juice. This scent will be amazing in cooler weather. This is a big date night scent because it's something you'll want to get closer to, to eventually eat. It will last awhile on skin, about 7 to 8 hours. For my nose, I give this an easy 8.5 out of 10.

This is a really nice fragrance if you’re into Angels’ Share. I’ve only smelled the original once, but from what I remember, this is extremely similar—probably around 90–95%. It nails that boozy apple pie vibe that people always compare to Angels’ Share. That said, I still wear this one as its own standalone scent, not just as a clone. I love how it smells; it’s well-blended, smooth, and never harsh. I could see myself wearing this during a night out or a date night in the winter. Performance is excellent, with strong projection and all-day longevity, especially on clothes. I rate it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5).
