Cairo Summer

Summer All-Star I have never smelled Nio by xerjoff but heard wonderful things about it.. It is one I do want to buy if I can find a good deal.. Anyways, for those who do NOT like neroli you will not like this.. I find that Neroli is very dominant in this scent.. I’m not the biggest Neroli fan but I can tolerate it.. Cairo Summer starts with a blast of cirtus that quickly rolls over into a nice rich neroli.. It’s very clean somewhat soapy which is something I really like about this fragrance.. I took a dive into Alexandria fragrance house I have 4 decants and 3 bottles.. I did not go and buy a full bottle of this just yet but I just may after the decant is gone.. This isn’t my favorite of what I got but it is very very very good.. I think that this can be worn almost everywhere and everywhere during the warmer months.. spring/summer scent for sure.. Good clone, I would say around 90% similar and catches the overall feel of the fragrance. The original is a bit more brighter in the opening, but that's expected due to the differences in concentration. If you like Nio you will like this.

Fairly close to Nio and possibly a not so distant relative of Voyage d'Hermès too. Cairo Summer is another very decent offering from the house. Whereas I like Nio I would not spend the exorbitant amount that Xerjoff charge for it. Cairo Summer is worth the sniff (I bought a 10ml bottle), though I doubt I would buy a full bottle as I am not so addicted to Nio and I already have Voyage d'Hermès.

Xerjoff’s Nio is a sparking effervescent green citrus woody fragrance. You need to appreciate and like green fragrances to like Nio. As good as I find it...I understand why others are let down if they are looking for a typical citrus fragrance...ala Dior Cologne. Cairo Summer gets in the same vein and family as Nio...but is no where near as smooth and well-blended as Nio. As it stands on its own, if you like green citrus...it’s a decent pickup for the money. If one tries to compare, they will be sorely disappointed. Nio is easily unisex, Cairo Summer is much more masculine due to being more harsh. Longevity here is OK, as is the projection. Nio, being a parfum, last longer. I get about 8 hours with Nio while Cairo Summer is 5/6 hours. I used to think this was a good clone of Nio, and used to really enjoy it. After wearing Nio more consistently, and getting more experienced with fragrances, I know fully appreciate where my money went with Nio vs this. I certainly do not recommend buying this; however, if you like green citrus fragrances (think Artisan Pure), Cairo Summer is decent for the money with the 20% discount AF offers on holidays.

This gets close to Nio. I dont like Nio so I dont like this one neither. Heavy neroli, citrus and a little jasmine. Boring to say the least even for a decent price.
