Darkwood Rose

Scent: 9.5/10 Projection: up to 2m Longevity: projects for up to 10h and then gets closer to the skin for another 4-6h. On cloathes it stays for days or until you wash them Sillage: seems to leave a strong long lasting trail Compliments: 8/10 I was sceptical about this since I have too many Rose Oud fragrances and I didn't know if it would be different enough to stand out, but in the end I went for it and I definately don't regret it. This turned out to be one of my best fragrance purchases. I do like Rose Oud fragrances a lot but I love this one. The Rose is more promiment than expected, but the musciness and the spices turn it into something completely different and make it stand out from the other Rose Ouds out there. It definately has it's own character. It's really well blended and so balanced and most people don't even recognise the Rose in it. On my skin it seems to project oup to 10 hours depending on the weather and the dryness of my skin, and then it gets closer to the skin for another 4 - 6 hours before it becomes a skin scent which you can smell until the following day if you get your nose close enough. It projects really strong and it is definately a winter / fall scent, or you could make someone faint in the summer. Even though I'd recommend it as a night scent, I could actually pull it off at the office as well, only with 2 sprays, and it actually got me quite a few compliments. When it comes to the compliment factor, it's one of the few where some people will start talking to you, and when you get close they'll say "oh wow what is that?". It gets several unsolicited compliments and I even had compliments on the following day like "the one you had on yesterday was amazing". I'm only ranking the compliment factor 8/10 becuase people will either love it or don;t really like it, but for every 10 people that love there will be only 1 or 2 that don't like it. On my skin it smells more masculine than other Rose Oud scents and I also get wiffs ot it regularly through out the day which is really awesome cause for most scents I tend to get olfactory fatigue fast and rarely get a whiff through the day. While it seems to be linear for the few first couple of hours, the Rose seems to tone down after a bit and it gets a bit more sweet and muscy and definately more sexy than the initial spray.
