I have a small sample of Boadicea the Victorious Blue Sapphire. It was given to me by a very good friend. Since it is so expensive and I cherish the gift from my friend, I doubt that I will ever spray it on to wear it. With that being said, I did spray one spray on my hand to see what it smelled like on my skin. It smells glorious. Dubai Lifestyle is very very very similar. VERY similar. I would never suggest to anyone to buy an 'inspired' version of a fragrance over the original. However, for those who like or love Blue Sapphire, this is definitely an affordable substitute. I am not very good with note breakdowns but, I definitely get the lemon, the rose, the oud and the rum. This is definitely worth getting your nose on it. Very well put together.

I get the imagery of being an incredibly tasteful, wealthy person sitting in the natural light filled conservatory of their manor house busy painting oil on canvas surrounded by exotic and sculpted potted plants with the Siamese cat sunbathing nearby on the tile floor. This seems perfectly unisex and oozes discrete power (rather than flashy, attention seeking types). I also, love imagining Dubai, having never visited yet, based on the naming of this scent. Incredibly wonderful stuff.

If you like floral, specifically rose, you'll love this. It opens with... rose. Then after 15 minutes, you get this incredible yellow rose followed by white rose. Then finally the base note - settling down on a bed of, wait for it... red roses. "Roses are red. This is too. If you don't like 'rose', this ain't for you".

So I went out and was able to receive this in a set of testers from Alexandria and I am so glad I did! Listen when I sprayed this right away 4 things jump at me Lemon,Rose, Chamomile, & Rum(Sweet Rum). You get this blast of floral come to your nose The rose, jasmine, & saffron but along with it comes the rum and oudy woody notes that follow it, honestly it reminds me of Ice Wine like a Vidal or Riesling! It is a very sweet note. Invting and friendly is the vibe you get from this with a hint of sexy if that makes sense, this is a guaranteed head turner especially if you are in a medium close encounter setting. I could see this being used at a banquet event like a wedding or business party. I would even wear this to dinner on a cool summer night somewhere fancy as you do get a feel of luxury wearing this, I guess it's called 'Dubai Lifestyle' for a reason! Just my two cents! Cheers!

On a trip to London I bought a bottle of Boadicea the Victorious Vetiver Imperiale. It was a souvenir, a very expensive souvenir, for myself and that trip. It is eye-crossingly beautiful and I enjoy it. And I will likely never spend that much on a fragrance again. That's where Alexandria Fragrances comes in. I have Dubai Lifestyle on since this morning and it's a beautiful perfume which seems to be made from quality ingredients. This is my third wearing. I get a bright citrus right up front with herbs on top of that. Then it settles into herbs, florals, and oud. Not picking up too much patchouli but it's there. It lasts on me for a good part of the day. Definitely a dressier scent. I won't wear this to the gym. Who knows, if I get back to Harrods I might splurge on a real bottle, but until then this is a really nice fragrance at a decent price.

Just Amazing. You can experience the smell of self confidence and wellness. All the ingredients are blended perfectly. It's green, floral, woody and 1000 other things. I don' t Know Blue sapphire, but I don't care, this is beautiful on its own. Any seasons, special occasions. Unbeatable.

First blast, spicy-soapy, a very middle eastern style rose and the oud to me smells more like suede leather. Quality clone. Will update on drydown eventually.

Don’t have Blue Sapphire so can’t compare with that but this one is nice on its own right. Oud, patchouli, chamomile, and rum are the four notes I could distinguish somewhat. Didn’t last an hour on my skin unfortunately. On clothing, this thing is eternal.

Alexandria #4 for me (meaning that I own 3 so far). I have no clue what Blue Sapphire smells like. There is a LOT going on here, sharp , sweet, floral, wood, citrus...... This take a bit to develop (which I like as 98% of my collection is quite linear). Sharp first with a hint of "oriental", then the sweet starts to come out with a touch of soft "blue". Like the blue in Gurlain L' Heure Bleu (sp?). The Oud and Rose seem to be the last act, and if you're an "alpha-male" this MAY read as a bit feminine. NOT a safe "blind buy" to those people. I will need a bit more time with this but longevity is good, I got whiffs many hours later at work but nobody complimented me. If you're looking for a solid oud/wood this may not be it as it comes off as a big beautiful "traffic jam" of a fragrance...and I mean that IN A GOOD WAY. Happy with my purchase -- Alexandria please take all my money ! (This was only $50.00 and the bottle will last me a year or more). ------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE: Lots of chamomile in here-- I guess that gives it that "light blue" feeling ?

so..I've had a 30ml bottle of this from years ago and when i first got it and sprayed it i hated it and put it up and never touched it again. i had no idea about what it was a clone of, i just knew that initial spray was HIGHLY offensive to my nose. after pulling out my other 5 bottles and realizing that my 1981x is a clone of Naxos that i have on my list to get (not anymore since i just ordered another bottle of it), i decided to give this another shot. especially after reading up on the other scents from this house and seeing people say how they let the juice sit for a few weeks or months and it completely changed complexity on them. i felt like ll of them did the same (ESPICALLY 1981x, no wonder i used almost that entire bottle up, now knowing its OG). i just sprayed some of it and honestly the opening isn't as harsh as i remember it being, guess that what happens when it sits for a few years lol. i have never smelled blue sapphire but if this is 80% or above to it, once it dries down i feel like this could be something i put into rotation.

Alright this one is by far one of the best Clone of Blue Sapphire Boadicea the Victorious , the opening is externally close and if i didn't have both the original and this i would def couldn't tell which is which , the dry down is also Spot on ! i would say this is around 90~95% similar to Blue Sapphire Sillage this wins over Blue Sapphire Longevity seems to be great So bottom line if you cant afford Blue Sapphire and you want something smells exactly like it and lots cheaper then this is for you its a gem and a win in my book you cant go wrong with this one.

This is a very unique smell. For some reason when I first spray it, it's very offensive. The dry down is good though. Throughout the day I get whiffs of coco Chanel for some reason. It makes sense as both fragrances middle and base notes are I love coco Chanel on Jasmine,Rose, and Patchouli. At the end of the day not my cup of tea.

I purchased Blue Sapphire from Boadicea last year, a great fragrance. When I saw this I had to buy it just to see how it compares. Well....WOW! This is very close and I Happen to like equally well. Longevity is way above average. Nice job.

Have a full 55ml bottle of this if anyone wants to swap/buy.
