Fame 15

Received a sample of this with my last order from AF today...smelled one spray of this and was C-O-M-P-L-E-T-E-L-Y blown away! Logged in and bought a 60ml bottle immediately! Holy shinola this is yummy!! It opens with a mélange of bright citrusy notes...like Tangerine, Mandarin and Plum together...and this slightly salty-feeling, creamy background scent that I can't quite place my finger on...but I LOVE it!! It reminds me of what my first car (used) smelled like when I bought it. Then I get the oud coming in with this woody scent combining with this zingy-green scent (Cypress?) and a smooth creamy vanillic base to it all. This is the most aaaaamazing scent bubble! I am finding that the sample that I received doesn't project much at all...but the sillage trail on it is very good! Then again...I haven't sprayed the sample more than 3 sprays so...it's not normal for my use. This is definitely gonna be my main springtime "relaxed" scent next year! EDIT: 60ml bottle has arrived...I can finally spray away the way I want!! And layering this with two sprays of "London Destination" is the most perfect scent bubble....omg. It's definitely not a projection beast...but this is perfect for the office or somewhere you don't want to gas out everyone...but still have a delectable scent bubble of about 1-2 feet around you. 22DEC22 Put on two sprays (from the 60ml bottle) of this on my right forearm to test against "Lattafa - Eternal Oud" on my left forearm....WHOA!!!! This one has gotten STRONGER!! When I first received the bottle it projected very minimally, though it left a serious sillage trail. NOW...it projects quite loudly while still maintaining the same long sillage trail! The two sprays of it I put on my right forearm have completely overshadowed the 4 sprays of "Eternal Oud" on my left arm to the point that I can only smell the "Fame 15" unless I bring my left arm up to my nose!!!! The "PLUM" note seems a lot stronger as well now! Itstill has the perfect vanilla-creaminess that I love/adore/desire/need/want/crave/addicted-to/have-to-have while pushing stronger than the day it arrived! Holy smokes!! Alexandria Fragrances....you've astounded me once again! I'll definitely be picking up a backup bottle of this one!!!

This is INTOXICATING. I can't stop sniffing my arm. I mostly smell the plum and oud with a touch of vanilla. Despite it having the vanilla note, I would not necessarily recommend this to someone that is specifically looking for vanilla as this is a predominantly woody scent. Think about walking through dry, dense woods or sitting at the base of a tree within it. Now think about doing that while eating a plum. That is what comes to mind while sniffing this fragrance. It is addictive and transports my mind to another place. I just wish that it lasted longer (4-6 hours) and projected better (less than arm's length).

My first wearing is very promising. Not as plumy as Forbidden Plum but not as dark and smokey as Athena's Smokey Plum. Nice blend of the 2. Never smelled Andy but after a few more wears may be adding this plum to my collection. I will say the ladies in my life do like the super plumy Forbidden Plum but like I said it's just first wearing.

Reminds me quite a bit of Penhaligon's Alula, but much less spicey. This is predominately plum and vanilla scent with some spices mixed in, its a little sweet and really addictive. Very impressed by this frag so far

Smells much fruiter than the original it’s imitating. If you haven’t tried Bond no9 Andy Warhol and you love fruity plum fragrances you may well love this! My personal opinion is this leans quite feminine because it’s so fruity. Its almost just one note plum to me. In fact I’d go as far as to say this would totally pass as a spring/summer scent. If you want an excellent clone for the Bond no.9 masterpiece then go for Dua Iconic. It’s darker, spicer, woodier and more unisex. It’s a much better clone than this one from Alexandria Fragrances. That being said if you want ripe, juicy, fruity, sweet plum then go with AF. Just a little FYI, before this review I left the AF Fame 15 to macerate for 2 months after opening but it’s still pretty lame. I’ve got Dua on one wrist and AF on the other and it’s two entirely different scents. I think I’ll still get use out of it, I’ll probably wear it layered with other scents to give it more punch.
