Fatal de Vanille

Comparing the original with this, side-by-side, yes... they are almost identical. Just go into a department store and smell the TF Vanille Fatale and buy this if you like how that smells. With how expensive the TF has become, just buy this. Additionally, it's priced low enough where you can buy a 30ml for your friends/family when they rave about how good it smells and then they think of you every single time they wear it. Brilliant.

Has a nod to the timeless aspect of Shalimar. Truly unisex. Long lasting powerhouse. Reminds me of a person who's thin, neat, organized, prompt, productive, and a little bit of a control freak. Balsamic vanilla is a can't miss crowd commander (rather than a sweet gourmand vanilla that crowd pleases). The coriander really shines in this-- and I do get a real suede, not leather.

Another time I can say, "if I could only have one fragrance to wear, this would be it" Of course I can say that about most AF fragrances I have. Life on Planet Earth in 2023 is Utopia, Adventure, Art, Wonder and Joy in Abundance.

This is a warm vanilla, with leather, tobacco and barley. It smells thick and smoky. I don't know how close it is to the original but by itself it is a beautiful scent.

Close enough to TF. Saying that, this is just OK (like TF). I find that my wife wears this better than me...it leans a bit too feminine for me. Opens with myrrh, olibanum and vanilla. I do find it not too sweet, but it is still a sweet vanilla opening. As it dries down, the vanilla stays and the myrrh and olibanum calm down (they are still there) while the suede adds depth and complexity. Overall, it is still a semi-sweeter vanilla all day long. Lasts a looooong time and projects pretty well. If you like vanilla, definitely score a sample of this and TFs to get your own opinion. If I do buy a bottle, it will be for my wife.

It's like a reverse of Tobacco Vanille which Vanilla is more dominant than tobacco. This is my first experience with Myrrh fragrance and I find it somewhat comfortable to wear. However, it's a little bit too sweet for me to wear it alone on my skin. I usually combine it with another tobacco or vanilla fragrance. 3 sprays and the projection is last for about 2 hours with the longevity from 8 to 10 hrs. Good purchase with the first clone fragrance. 8/10

really great vanilla! leathery, slightly spicy, definitely not your straight vanilla. I'll admit that I have no idea about ToFo Vanille Fatal, never tried, stopped caring for Tom Ford frags as there seem to be something off in each and every frag that I tried so far, something synthetic that does not agree with me I guess. Anyhow, this is worth to try any vanilla fan, it is great!

If you like myrrh and tobacco, this is for you. If it’s vanilla you’re after, better seek elsewhere. This smells like a cigar bar.

Gosh, this is so close to Tom Ford's Vanille Fatale-- I have worn both multiple times now, and notice the following differences: Fatal de Vanille is not meant to be enjoyed up close (nose to wrist), like you can with Vanille Fatale Fatal de Vanille lasts 12+ hours (I can still smell the two sprays on my chest from this morning), and Vanille Fatale lasts on me between 5-7 hours. Projection of both is similar, though I think it's less difficult for me to become asnomic to Fatal de Vanille because it's slightly less smooth than Vanille Fatale.

Blind bought this because i love Vanille Fatale. Wasnt what i expected but def pleased me. The opening is less boozy and the plum note came out stronger than the TFs. After the opening the suede comes out, alittle spicy and leathery and the vanilla is there aswell. Great stuff and last forever compared to Vanille Fatales which is its only downside

WOW! I have tried nearly every clone of FV and own a full bottle of actual Fatale Vanille. I must say this one is spot on to the original. Spraying these two side by side, it is hard to distinguish which is which. Highly would recommend it.

Wow! That's all I can say. This is fantastic juice. Compliments follow this outstanding fragrance everywhere. I've never tried VF by TF, but who needs it.

Deep, rich, leathery, resinous, woody, grown up vanilla with a strong tobacco note. I think it's unisex but some might say it leans a bit masculine.
