Funtastic

I really like this one. When I first got a sample I put it on and kept thinking this smells "fun", a very joyfully happy aura. It lasts quite a while, at least 7 hours with solid projection. I got this sample the same time as I got Rome(memo Italian leather), and carve on (memo Irish leather), and when I sampled both Rome and carve on, I thought these are all very similar with the leather accord. I love Rome, I picked up a bottle of that after sampling it, it reminds me of a much more versatile/wearable version of interlude man. So when I considered picking up a bottle of funtastic and went back and sprayed it on my hand I kept comparing it to Rome, carve on, aromatic conflict(interlude man, one of my top 5 favorites along with aromatic conflict black), and really didn't know if I wanted this one anymore. But I decided to get a 30ml bottle, because it had some unique differences. It's sat for a while and I don't think I wore it since I got the bottle a few months ago, in the back of my mind it wasn't as good as Rome or aromatic conflict, but I decided to wear it to work and I really really enjoy this scent, it's different from Rome carve on and aromatic conflict for sure. It has the almond and slightly powdery smell in Greek horse(pdm pegasus), but with that great leather base. I also get a slightly sharp? Somewhat fruity smell lingering on top or perhaps just marrying with the mids that may be the Clary sage? Which I really like. Overall it's joyful fun and very pleasant to wear, like a happy cloud, never felt like anyone would be offended if they caught a whiff but maybe intrigued because it's a somewhat unique and different. If you like how the leather is used in the memo Paris fragrances, not overbearing or necessarily distinctively leathery, this is worth sampling.

I really enjoyed this one! Never smelt Tom Ford's FF, but assuming it smells like this, I dig it! As soon as you pop the cap off, and sniff the trigger, you get the sweetness of the tonka mixed with I'm assuming the orris root, with a hint of almond. As well as some woody notes which I do really like. The baby wipe vibe is there, but if you can get past that (which you will when the scent dries down) you may like it more. As it dries down, that smell of the baby wipe esque goes away and leaves you with a powdery, smooth, herbal and almondy concoction. The sage comes out to almost like a marijuana hemp smell that is in no way offensive or off putting. As far as classification. I wouldn't say this is a gourmand. It's sweet, but not overly sweet. The sweetness helps balance the kind of clean fresh smell you get from the "baby wipes". I'd say this is a powdery woody fragrance. For a fraction of the price, you can't go wrong with this. Smells slightly synthetic, as the notes listed are most likely accords or highly concentrated oils rather than extracts or juices. (I may not even know what I'm talking about) I can't hate on this simply because this is one of a kind. But for a clone, you can't beat it. For a blind buy (which I don't do very often or even at all) it's pretty good. 9/10

My bottle smells identical to Fucking Fabulous after sitting for about 2 months. The longevity might be a bit less than the OG at the moment, but if it is like my other Alexandria Fragrances, then it will increase the older it gets.

Sweet/ambery. Woody, manly, a little mature, sophisticated. Powerful.

This is more "inspired by" F-Fab, I'd say. It's close but off a little; I smell more lavender in F-Fab, and more of a spiciness in the Funtastic. Funtastic seemed more masculine to me. Funtastic is stronger, and longer lasting, and if you like F-Fab, you'd probably like this, especially if you want it to lean masculine. As a woman who wants to wear it, I prefer a more feminine leaning, so for me it didn't work. It also made my tongue swell, and that is just a note to those with sensitivities like me. The F-Fab does not make my tongue swell. And I don't think it's because of "cheap" ingredients because TF's Lost Cherry and Bitter Peach also make my tongue swell. It's just something in certain fragrances to which I am allergic. All that said, I like this scent, just not for me, and just not for my body chemistry (allergies).

This isn't my favorite from the house but it is very nice. Strong Almond, I mean it is beastly, with Tonka, Vanilla, hints of woods and amber. Overall this would be awesome on a cold day and fall night IMO. This is a very close copy of Tom Ford's Fucking Fabulous which I have sampled on several occasions. I am giving this a thumbs up due to the dry down being awesome and the best part of the fragrance for sure. Overall try before you buy. Enjoy!

Just got this in tonight... Wow wa wee wa...this smells FANTASTIC!! This smells professional...but HAPPY! I don't know what in the world this frag mix is doing...but it's leaving me with a smile on my face just from the test strip. The opening is powerfully strong with floral notes and a suede note and very vanillic in the background. Then it dries down to this bright, strong, lightly-leathery, zingy combination of notes! As it dries down the vanilla/amber mix with the leather and almond and lavender and it leaves this bright but sensual happy fragrance all around you. I want to put this on skin soooooo badly tonight, but I'm trying to hold out so that I can wear it first on skin tomorrow morning! This is absolutely crazy!! I've NEVER smelled fragrances with a lively "Leather" note in them before Alexandria Fragrances!! I used to think that any fragrance with a "Leather" note in it would be an oppressive dull and choking experience. (I've smelled some horrible leather-note fragrances before being enlightened by AF) This is the THIRD fragrance with a leather note now that I can say that I love! This is literally life-altering fragrance composition...Alexandria Fragrances is LITERALLY changing my entire outlook on my fragrance life with their fragrances!!! This is quite literally, FUNTASTIC!!! Wow...I may have to prep to buy a large bottle of this if tomorrow goes as well as I'm expecting. Wow...amazing...simply A-GRADE amazing!!! 03JAN23 Wow...3 days into the new year and the test strip that I sprayed this one when I got it in the house STILL smells strong if you get 1-ft close to it! This is nuts! I'm completely convinced that if I didn't shower...this fragrance would never leave my skin!!! This fragrance, literally, does NOT go away! The leather and woods notes absolutely STAY on whatever you spray it on for weeks! 14JAN23 Just came back to the test strip for this fragrance...it STILL smells like "Funtastic"!!! This is WEEKS later!!! Oh yeah...I'm DEFINITELY buying a 100ml of this ASAP! (wearing this layered with "Coffee&Whiskey" tomorrow...tested it tonight and it's AMAZING!) 17JAN23: 60ML bottle of "FUntastic" ordered!!! Being that this frag is so strong, that should last me quite a while! 26JUL23 Okay...tried this on the other day, middle of summer, it's definitely a "Winter Only" fragrance. The leather was stifling...I couldn't breathe, it was so strong. I may send my smaller bottle to a friend up north. The large bottle I have of it is more than enough for the rest of my lifetime, as I do not honestly favor leather fragrances. I think COVID-19 ruined that for me....I just can't take the tone of "Leather" after 4 hours. I may send off "Hafez 1984 Intense" too... I'm just D-O-N-E with leather of any amount in my frags. 17SEP25 UPDATE: Came back around to this little bottle of "Funtastic" after sending my burly bear buddy the big bottle I had custom made by Hani with tons of Vanilla added to the formulation. He loved it and loves leather so it's better off with him. Meanwhile, my little 30ml bottle that's years old has only gotten more potent...and somehow smoother...in the time away from it. One spray is the limit for this. Anything more and you're either going to choke yourself or someone else out. Strangely enough, this fragrance is a perfect additive to other leather compositions I've made that weren't strong enough. One spritz...livens up the leather accord perfectly and gives strength to the durability of the composition. RATINGS: Scent 4/5 Greenish woody leather scent. Projection: 5/5 Nuclear projection and sillage! Longevity: 5/5 Lasts all day, all night and into the next day! Value: 5/5 Expensive...but worth it.

I owned both the original and this one. The F* Fabulous is probably one of the most gorgeous fragrance in my collection and I truly love its unique scent profile. I tested them and compared them side by side and obviously, there's a difference. Right of the bat, the original was well rounded and blended. You can tell the high quality of the juice. For the Funtastic, the opening was sharper and stronger, while the almond note comes pretty prominent yet fleeting. However, when the mid and the dry down comes, that's when its closest to the original, I mean very close according to my nose. The hack is to spray this 15-20 minutes before you leave your house and anyone who's familiar with the scent of the original may not be able to detect that you're wearing a dupe (unless you tell them). Much more so if you spray this directly on your clothes, the scent that will linger is almost identical to the OG. If you like or love the scent profile of TF F*Fab but don't want to spend that much of your precious earnings, see if you like this one at it's reasonable price point. I'll give this gem of a dupe a 9/10 “Let us spread the scents of peace and kindness. This fragrance is in no way anywhere near the TF FF. I bought a bottle and sent it back to AF, Maybe I had a bad batch but this one was way off. Not to bash AF, as I have over 25 bottles and some of them are crazy good, almost imperceptible from the originals. This was a blind buy for me as I didn't want to pay Tom Ford price for it. Initially after spraying I thought perhaps I had made a mistake. It is very strong and almost headache inducing if you over apply. I sprayed on my wrist only and nearly wanted to wash it off! Glad I gave it another try today with a very light hand. This scent is definitely unisex and perhaps wears better on clothing than on skin. Some scents are more about the smell while others are more about the mood. This one definitely effects my mood in a nice way!

I agree with SimplDude's review. I find Funtastic a bit underwhelming at first, and very much toned down in terms of the "pencil shavings" vibe I always get from FF. But within a half hour, it's a dead ringer, and 90 minutes in, FF was mostly a memory while Funtastic was still making its presence known.

This is 99% spot on with TF Fabulous. Great scent overall. Performance is absolutely stunning.
