Gourmand Kiss

At first sniff, I was shocked at the similarities between both Feve and Gourmand Kiss. I ADORE Feve, but what kept me away from purchasing it is the extreme 'baby powder' dry down on my skin :( Alexandria's interpretation tones it down drastically and I actually prefer it! The sillage is just as strong as Feve, but actually stays strong a tad longer than Feve. Beastly performance seems to be one of the consistent features of Alexandria Fragrances' perfumes. Although it is great, Feve smells a lot more natural and luxurious because of it's pure ingredients. But if you're not too keen on the details, are on a budget or just want people to smell Feve on you, then go for Gourmand Kiss instead. Among the Alexandria Fragrances perfumes that I've sampled, I'd say this is my number one choice and what I'd consider to be full bottle worthy from this brand! GREAT job! Overall rating 8/10

Just got this bottle and already in love with it. Don’t know what Feve Delicious smells like. Wish I could get it to compare but my local MCD doesn’t carry it and my Europe friends can’t get me one either. It’s currently only sold in the States side, unfortunately. Anyway this seems to be the closest thing to it I can lay my hands upon here. The opening which I so loved doesn’t last quite long enough. And at a certain point in its longevity, there is a SLIGHT resemblance to pee smell. You read that right. BUT overall its still lovely once you can overlook that minute point in time it actually does that. But then again it’s an on skin test and may or may not be repeatable with your body chemistry. Yes I still love my bottle of Gourmand Kiss.

Since this is an inspired creation, this review is not about the scent but rather how close it is to the original. The answer is: very close. This is one of the best clones they have and original Dior Feve Delicieuse is not performing this well while the scent and development is almost 99%. This is a much stronger version of the original, so I suggest to use 1/2 the sprays you use with Dior. If you like original Dior, check this one out as it will do the same for much less and will project and last longer. If you don't like the Dior, why on earth would you want this one??? :) PS Like with most clones it will need a couple of minutes to settle on your skin but fro then one it is am amaizing match to the original.

OMG near spot on Replica of Dior Fève Déleicious 2015 and 2018! Sooo strong....1 spray and it wafts like none other and I'm on hour 7! This is a near perfect dupe of the original release Dior Fève Déleicious 2015...only because it has the same strength and lasting power. Dior is a bit more refined and a tad sweeter upon first spray (both 2018/2015 versions of Fève smell the same). Give Gourmand Kiss about 30 minutes....and it is SPOT on duplicate of Dior's Fève Déleicious. A super quality dupe for sure. Love it!

I actually prefer Gourmand Kiss over Dior's Feve. I get a more prominent cherry note in this as it's less powdery to my nose. I get about 2 compliments every time I wear it. Longevity is great on this as it lasts about 7-10 hours on my skin. This fragrance is perfect for date nights. I usually wear this in the fall, winter and early spring. Bravo Hany, this is a beautiful fragrance that I feel should be in everyone's collection.

DAMNNNN! bomb of a frag....winter nights,dating clubbing..you will be the monster projector.rock it with leather jacket...its unisex but both genders can wear it alike with equal confidence. its a lil synthetic conpared to Feve by dior, but for one third of a price im happy with it. 8.5/10 for me Bang for buck :)

THIS. IS. GOR. GEOUS. OMG I love it so much. It’s a sweet warm dessert hug. It’s all my favorite smells in one. I want to crawl in the bottle and live in it. It’s sweet, milky, warm... ugh. It’s so good. *I do kind of get the plastic/vinyl babydoll scent a tiny, tiny bit but I don’t mind it at all.

On test strips it comes across overly sweet (leaning feminine) however, on skin, the sweetness is toned down and the sweet complexity comes out. It has great longevity and projection is good. It's a very rich scent and now I understand why Alexandria warns about "beastly" in warm weather.

First blast is all tonka beans all the time, but quickly settles down into a true gourmand heaven. I get mostly pralines yet can distinguish all the other notes listed. Well done and straightforward delish for a carefree, upbeat, lighthearted mood. Works best in cooler months.

This was weak out of the box, but given a month its matured very nicely. Spicy edible cinnamon almond, and I detect some of the FD notes not listed: cherry, lavender, chocolate, freesia, etc. Really nice to wear to bed, its like a warm blanket of spicy sweet dreams.

This is what I thought Feve Delicieuse would smell like, but so much better than the original. I smell the sweet powdery tonka, a cocoa powder note & a light cherry note. So cozy & beautiful.

I also prefer this to Feve.Lovely,sumptuous sillage,drying to a 2 ft radius with good longevity.Many compliments always.Actually,this just agrees with me.

Got this today and not impressed, hoping it will age and do something nice. As of today it is basically that powdery Dior hypnotic Poison in the red bottle, very powdery and kind of eww. I layered it with a nicer vanilla and it helped. This is just a linear, cold, sharply spicy, powdery, amber, vanilla, definitely cold weather scent. It isn’t awful but it just isn’t well done and it’s been done before... in the 90s... this scent has no bounce or anything that tempts you to come closer. Might try it with Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille to warm it up and give it some depth and richness. Overall, two stars, don’t really recommend, but I will keep it. I do not have Feve D. so not sure how it stacks up but reviewers have said it is a good match, looks like they dropped all the top notes so not sure how accurate that is. Update: let it rest for 9 mos now and not much improvement, just too powdery for me, but I don’t dislike it as much as I initially did. 3 stars of five.

Similar to the OG, this is one of the best pure plays on the tonka bean note. In the air, one would be hard pressed to tell the difference between this and Feve. The opening goes on sweeter than the original, but the dry down is super close. As mentioned, does miss the complexity as it dries down...the overall vibe here is Feve’s dry down...so pretty linear vs the OG. Still a good option if the dry down is all you want (and it is what you live with for most of its wear anyway). Here’s my issue here...at retail, I can buy this for $220 for 4.25oz. That’s $51 per oz. AF w/25% off is $35 w/shipping. $15 extra to get the original’s depth and complexity is worth it to me. Anyway, grab a sample and compare to the OG...always fun doing that to get your own opinion.

This is a clone of the famed fragrance Feve Delicieuse by Dior. If you cant tell from the name, this is a gourmand fragrance that has notes of tonka, vanilla, caramel, cocoa, pralines and woody notes. To my nose, the combinations of the notes smells like a mix between coco puffs and chocolate powder that one would use to make hot cocoa or to bake a chocolate cake. Now, this is considered a unisex fragrance so men and women alike could sport this. Because this is a rich, sweet fragrance I'd recommend only wearing this in cooler weather. Where I am right now is a cold and overcast day and my fiancee and I went to lunch with some friends and I was complemented on how I smell, so this gets two thumbs up from me!

I was never a big fan of Feve so I can honestly say this is exactly the same as the Feve to my olfactory sense. Very, very good if you love Feve.

Not sure what I was expecting, or why I actually purchased this fragrance. I've been on the search for affordable, unique, vanilla-centric, gourmand fragrances that I can liberally apply at bedtime. The notes of this fragrance seemed intriguing. To be honest, I never heard of Dior "Feve Delicieuse" prior to finding Gourmand Kiss. I've purchased a few Alexandria Fragrances in the past. Sadly, they have not worked for me. As an aside, I always been a niche perfume woman, so I know ZERO about designer fragrances. With the exception of Chanel Coromandel and a few of the other gangsta mainstream fragrances, I know little about mainstream fragrances and perfumes. So, I'm undecided about Gourmand Kiss. I like it. I don't dislike it. But I don't love it. Perhaps with time and as the fragrance develops on my skin, I will like it much more than I do upon initial application. My nose and sensibilities detect: ~a very potent & strong aldehydic opening pushing fizzy, boozy rum 'n cola notes ~potent & heavy tonka bean notes (more so than vanilla) ~something very powdery and dusty (like iris; is probably cacao) ~not much caramel, cream, or almonds sadly ~extremely saccharine sweet fragrance There's no way I would define this as a gourmand fragrance. Gourmand Kiss definitely wears like a VERY powdery, boozy, floral oriental. I'm surprised there are no floral notes listed among the ingredients. As I'm wearing this, I'd say I do like it more than I dislike it. Wish I detected more almond, more caramel, more creamy notes. Wish this performed more gourmand on my skin. With that said, I don't think this type of fragrance is my jam...

Love the notes in this...but the thought of the unlisted/hidden "Cherry" note scares me off...I do not like that scent note.

I had the same thought as the reviewer "my effect". It smells, to me, like powdery baby wipes. I was so stunned when I sprayed it on that I came back here to verify the notes. I wanted something for the Christmas holidays but this won't work. Sillage and longevity aren't an issue at all but when you're not enjoying it then that doesn't matter. So glad I only bought a small size. I've read Alexandria Fragrances need time to sit/developed/mature. I'll give this one plenty of time as I'm not in a hurry to wear it again. A disclaimer though, I have a, um, simple nose that frequently can only detect the overall scent and, unless it's obvious, rarely notes themselves. My simpleton nose found itself in my friend's baby's room. Update: tried it again the other night, about six months later. It's calmed down and isn't as blatantly baby wipes scented now. I do catch notes of something else, definitely almond, but for me the overall vibe is still baby powder. I'll eventually give it away to someone that likes it. Quality is there but not my thing.
