H'Ani

Hello, Vanilla addict here *wave* Just ordered this as I've always wanted to try "Nishane - Ani" but not willing to pay that exorbitant price. Plus I LOOOOOVE "Alexandria Fragrances"....figured I'd go with one of Hany's creations for my Christmas gift to me! I know this won't arrive until after the new year probably so I'll update with a review then... 28DEC22 Welp, arrival day.... (2x sprays on forearm) Well...I had this already. "H'Ani" is a dead-ringer for "Whispers in the Library"...lol. A richer...deeper...more complex version of it...but in the end...another version of the truth. "WITL" is Pepper/Vanilla/Cedar and that's it. While "HANI" is the same...with more citruses added in. H'Ani starts out with woods for me...strangely enough. Then the Ginger and Citruses hit followed by the pink pepper and creamy vanilla. I'm picking up a lavender or some floral as well? It's got a reverse development compared to "WITL" and a more lively tone overall. The Ginger & Pink Pepper give it that perfect "WITL" zing and burn on top of the creamy vanilla. (After 4 hours...) This one lasts a reeeeeeally long time on skin...wow. Working great now, but I'm looking forward to how it performs in a few weeks. (The next day...) Wearing this one today full-on...couldn't wait...lol. 4 sprays to chest, one to each inner elbow, one back of neck, one behind each ear, one each wrist, two sprays on shirt shoulders. It smells great while I'm moving, but when I sit still...oh man...I can't smell anything BUT H'Ani! I'm not complaining because this is the performance I desired, but I've definitely got to get my sprays adjusted for this....wow...this stuff is POWERFUL!!! Lol...the workplace is smelling RIGHT today!!!! But....as with all AF fragrances, I'll stow this and come back in a few weeks to see how it matures and grows.

I've owned H'ani for a few months now and always thought it's a very high quality fragrance. I read that the original is 80, 90% similar to Ani, so I just presumed Ani would have something a bit extra, some more quality. Anyway, I worse Ani for the first time yesterday and I can't believe how close they are. But not only the smell, it's the feel. It wears the same. The main difference is that Ani is heavier on the citrus (I get lemon) so goes slightly more gourmand, almost like a cake, whereas H'ani retains the ginger/cardamom and in the drydown becomes very, very slightly resinous. For me, I prefer H'ani, I love the vanilla/ginger/cardamom combo and I think it's stronger too. Any fans of Ani should definitely try H'ani. This is a fantastic high quality frag at an affordable price. Alexandria did a great job with this one.

I haven't tried Ani, so I can't comment on its similarities -- but I do get vibes of Rochas Moustache EDP from this. It's as though someone took Moustache, dialed down some of the patchouli and then concentrated the results into an extrait. Cedar woody/vanillic/fruity/spicy/rosy/musky, all at the same time and in perfect balance. Dry down simplifies into a still lovely vanilla tinted cedar/sandalwood accord. Gorgeous stuff at every stage!

Best clone of Nishane Ani. Compared to Lattafas interpretation H'ani Lasts longer and has better sillage. (I still love Nasheet because it cost me just 18 bucks for 100 ml) The only downside H'ani has is, It's a little bit pricey for a clone other than that it's a banger. I got it as a gift so no regret 🥰

Spicy, powdery, ginger vanilla. It just has this amazing airy cloudiness to it that I so much enjoy. I've never smelled the original Ani but I absolutely love this. It layers well with a lot of fragrances.

Spot on clone of Nishane Ani, But the one difference is H'ani performs better in my personal opinion. One of the best clones of any niche I have ever had.

I absolutely love this fragrance. It has a powdery vanilla/woody smell to it. It's warm, inviting and cozy and it last easily 12+ hours.

The best Alexandria fragrance, and that's saying a lot! 8-12 hours longevity. Projects 4-5 feet for me, which is fine by me.

Here’s what you came to find out...in the air, no one will be able to tell the difference from the OG. Smelling off the back of your hand, most will be able to tell a difference. The OG projects and last longer...AF is the much better value. AF did a good job with this one...as did those that sell the fragrance oil of Ani. Really can’t go wrong with most of them.

Haven’t tried Ani so can’t compare with it but this is good. Opened up ginger and vanilla. Rather good, if lacking in projection somewhat. After 14hrs I still can smell it on my clothing. Even 2 days passed it’s still lingering in the laundry basket. 😆

Without specifically intending to, I have acquired quite a few vanilla forward perfumes. Even so, Nishane Ani remained on my 'must try' list. As it happened, the opportunity to sample Alexandria's inspired creation presented itself first. I find H'ani to be of good quality and inoffensively pleasant, but somewhat lacking in character. It smells like the base of an unfinished perfume to me - with both top and base notes underplayed. The principal vanilla note is very gentle and creamy (like custard), never quite achieving the intensity I prefer, e.g Dior Spiritueuse Double Vanille and Kilian Single Malt (like Bourbon Whisky). My haphazard collection helped me to decide that I do not need a full bottle of this (or its inspiration) , as I can't imagine preferring it over Nishane Nefs, Xerjoff Ivory Route, or PDM Layton, all of which fit a similar vanilla-with-benefits profile. Its extremely rounded blend, however, makes H'ani a great bedtime fragrance; so my sample will see some good use after all.

The combination of spiciness and aromatic is so good but with vanilla and musky notes make me dizziness

I got Alexandria H'Ani it's so weak compared to Nishane - Ani. I sprayed Ani on one hand and Alexandria - H'Ani on another. I feel H'Ani is not projecting as much. They do smell close though. But Ani by Nishane is more refined and stronger projection. Dont buy this.

there are fairly serious issues with H’ani’s siliage and projection, especially considering that was the most costly of the four Ani clones i’ve tried. composition-wise, to my nose this is an 85% match for the original scent- it’s a delightful, well rounded interpretation of the same notes, with more emphasis on the herbed vanilla and less of that ginger-bergamot tang. but, as a couple of others have already noted here, the juice is very weak compared to Ani. H’ani is an appealing yet muted fragrance that vanishes from the skin in under two hours and very faintly persists on clothing for a couple of days. this is also the case with a couple of other Alexandria fragrances i have- ‘black tie affair’ and ‘cacao dreams’. that said, i’ve found Alexandria’s ‘Black Panther’ to be a strong performer on all fronts, so 🤷♀️ i think Alexandria’s H’ani could be ok for you for if you like, but don’t love the original Ani and you prefer a scent that fades promptly so that can you apply other scents the original lasts on clothing for days, so you really have to adore that stuff. which i do! after all the time and cash spent on sourcing and testing dupes, i ended up buying a (discounted) full bottle of Ani. for any Ani lovers who need this scent in their life but can’t find the right discount: KDJ Inspired offers a budget friendly Ani-logue that’s not only a closer scent match (around 95%) but also approaches the original in terms of luxurious feel and projection. if you’re outside the UK and not convinced that any dupe is worth paying customs fees for, Shobi Perfumery has a high quality Ani replica too (albeit a lighter version that skips straight to the heart and base notes) and offers the added advantage of Ani-scented body & hair products, all for really good prices. hope this has been helpful...

This is my favorite fragrance to wear in the fall/winter. It's ridiculously good. I had the original Ani and actually sold it, preferring Alexandria's H'ani instead because the vanilla here is just the warmest, most rounded, and perfectly supported by the other notes. I get much better performance from this than the original, personally. I spray this 1-2 times on clothes, 1-2 times on skin. Lasts for days/weeks on warm, fuzzy sweaters. Performance-wise, I've received compliments on this thinking only I could smell it, but nope. People can smell this potentially 3-4 feet away! I've noticed that's the case when you spray more times, versus less. One spray no comments, 3-4 sprays - "You smell good. Have you been baking?" :) Seriously. Let's keep this one a secret so more for me hehe

''H'Ani''?? Lol, like seriously? Ok - I know art and it's forms are meant to promote freedom and and act of 'breaching barriers'' but surely this is getting ridiculous from Mr Hafez now. Yes, it *does smell like the venerable Nishane; pleasant gourmand lemony vanilla and then ambery musks but honestly this guy is starting to run out of luck as I have found quite a few bottles of marked-down Ani's that comfortably challenge HH's price-points. Honestly, pay a *little more for the Original and save yourself a legacy of shame. No ratings for shameless imitations.

Ani -Nishane is worth evey penny
