Medalist

Aquatic, citric and creamy, this is a 90-95% clone of Chanel's AHS. A great value offering from Alexandria Fragrances which smells luxurious, as does the OG, with possibly better performance than the OG. Sweet, creamy tonka/vanilla notes make this unctuous, fruity concoction appropriate in winter as well as the summer months. A clear precursor to the direction that Chanel took with their Bleu line.

I never tried the original, but I did have versace homme and there are similarities but I prefer medalist due to the vanilla creaminess that versace lacks. Also the citrus in this version isn't as sharp which I think compliments the profile because it smoother. Overall as a stand alone, this is a great versatile fragrance with decent longevity.

This is supposed to compare to Chanel's Allure Homme Sport....it doesn't. Don't get me wrong its a great fragrance on its own but there is no comparison. Its a summery fragrance that is citrusy with watery notes. On the dry down, you get some vanilla. I do not get anything peppery which is one of the notes that brings out the original Allure HS. Performance is weak to moderate at best. Sits very close to the skin and after about 2 or 3 hours it is practically non-existent. It is one of the more disappointing fragrances from Alexandria Fragrances as it does not compare to the original Allure HS and although it smells great on its own, performance is very poor compared to other fragrances from this house.

If you wear this side by side with Allure Homme Sport EDT then you will see that they are extremely close. I'd say that the citrus and pepper facets are sharper and more pronounced with the original, otherwise they are very close. If you can't find Allure Homme Sport EDT for some reason, or just don't want to buy the Chanel, you can opt for this fragrance and get the same results.

If you’ve smelled Versace signature then this is it. Slightly better performance... longer lasting and projects harder.

Smells spot on to the OG. I prefer this dupe though, because it lacks the strong musk that I hate in the OG & the orange/ sea opening last longer in Medalist. Of course you do get the VPH & AHSEE vibes here as well. Edit: 11/16/25 3 months after purchase— minimal freshness remains. The opening goes directly to the tonka dry down, but more ambery.. very similar to Boss in Motion. I prefer the OG AHS
