Private Suite

So I'll start by saying I never smelled One Million Prive and picked this one up solely based on the notes listed. This one isn't nearly as sweet or gourmand as I thought it would be. To me it's very dry and resinous which isn't what I expected at all. You definitely can definitely smell all the notes listed, but the tobacco and tonka are very dry and the myrrh/ patchouli very reninous (I can actually see what the previous comment says about it being antiseptic smelling). With all that said I actually really like this, but I think for me this would be better as a fall/ winter daytime or office scent. I don't think this would be offensive to many people because it doesn't project that much.

Just got a 55ml of this in. 4x sprays on paper test strip.... Smells a lot like Chanel Allure Homme Sport...that "aquatic creamsicle" vibe. Will give it a wear on a Saturday and return for an update.... 24JUN23 Tried offloading this, friend didn't want it. Put it back in the closet and one day while messing around, layered it with "Cloud"... B-I-N-G-O !!! Finally....it layers!! It didn't turn funny smelling as it had in the past with other layering attempts, it didn't fade into the other fragrance, it stood aside the other fragrance without getting lost or upset. SUCCESS!!!!

I haven’t gotten my nose on Privee but this stuff smells great regardless of how close it is. Original one million DNA but grown up with more spices and tobacco. Performance isn’t stellar but a few extra sprays won’t hurt because this stuff is pretty cheap for an alexandria

This will be my next purchase from Alexandria. I have a sample and man is this absolutely Amazing! Winner from start to finish. Nice cinnamon, tobacco and tonka scent. Stunning alternative to Paco Rabanne's One Million Prive. Great price and quality. Enjoy!

almost a perfect copy of 1 million prive, definitely will be my new go to for cool weather and night time scent.

Layered this with "Lush - Yog Nog" and it's HEAVENLY!!!

So I bought this after discovering 1 Million Prive after it was discontinued, and desperately trying to find a replacement that was close. PDM Oajan is really close, but expensive. But a beautiful scent and a great replacement for Prive. They both have the apple/cinnamon accord that is so good. Then I found these Alexandria scents and got this Prive clone. I have to say as far as a clone goes, it's very close. The opening is slightly different but on the dry down it comes within 95% to the real thing. It's not as powdery on my skin as Prive but again, it's very close and it's cheap to buy. I get about the same longevity as with the real thing. But you can spray as much as you want and not worry about it. So if you're like me and can't spend huge amounts of money on fragrances, this is a good alternative to Prive.

This and the Brasilia Prive were the two fragrances in my sampler set that I was really keen on getting my hands on, especially when I read what this one was based on. However, I'm disappointed with it. I have a coworker who wears One Million on a regular basis, so I'm already familiar with the fragrance enough to know that the opening of this fragrance is virtually identical to that; the same sort of apple pie and cinnamon smell. After that dries off.... in about twenty minutes.... what's left behind is myrrh. Resinous, antiseptic smelling, myrrh. No orange, no vanilla, MAYBE a little bit of patchouli. The longevity of the scent on my skin is pretty decent, but I really wish they would have done better with this fragrance.
