Sahara Nights

I tried The Night once and remember loving it but couldn’t get my hands on a bottle since then. Today I finally got this which is supposed to be a dupe of The Night, but unfortunately I don’t remember much of that scent anymore. As for this, I can only say that I like the opening but it has yet to wow me as I remember being wowed by The Night. I guess that expectation almost always kill just about everything. Lol. Okay, as the scent develops I am getting to the wow part I think I loved about The Night, or at least I’m loving about this perfume! Yes it has finally arrive at that part and I can truly say I love this! Don’t know how to describe this but it’s sweet and rather surreal. Rosy and yet not just the rose that made this euphoric sense. Ooh!

As a man that has sampled easily 100+ fragrances from Alexandria, this one might be the most complex that I've tried. It's not an easy wear at all but it's very interesting. Rose and semi fecal oud, with darkness, spicy cumin bo, slight incense, and saffron adding touches. Sounds terrible explaining it that way, and yet it's not and weirdly enticing in it's own way. Now I've never smelled FM night, so I can only judge this standalone but yeah this is challenging yet intriguing. This fragrance changes throughout it's wear and has good projection and longevity. Might just enjoy this at home by myself lol. Edit: this has great performance, easily 8 hours with consistent projection for the first 2 hours, before it turns into a closer scent bubble.

this smells like a calm l'air du desert marocain....i get a dry yet slightly creamy vibe with this. the notes are blended well to give a touch of a desert city atmosphere. sandalwood,saffron,amber, faint rose, woods. good longevity and a work of art. wanna smell different and interesting and lets throw amazing in there. This fragrance smells like a place,making this scent an experience.

I agree with Ishvires, it’s is a beauty of perfume, very elegant and sophisticated. I don't know The Night so I don't know if it looks like it or not, but regardless of that this is a very good fragrance. But smell it before buying, ask for a sample, because it is a strong aroma and not for blind buying, it will depend a lot on your tastes. I like different, strong and oriental smells.

Tbh it didn't smell like it could ever get close to its inspiration at first; it just smelled fake (oud-wise) and far off like a generic Arabian rose-oud, but magically, it started to morph into shape, closer and closer to the original, until it becomes recognizable and comparable. Although it severely lacks body (holographic), it's still about 90% similar, and since The Night is ridiculously expensive...This just might have to do. Edit: Nvm I couldn't stand the animalics the second time...It's ultra-musky & castoreum-forward, and takes too long to get to the good part 😞

I live in the desert and to be honest, Sahara nights passed the test as I sampled it in the harsh early summer day, my goodness, it's an incredible pure essence of the best elements, it stood true, to the oudh, as it is real and none of the aged cheese or animal fecal, but instead decides to walk along the most beautiful at their peak pink roses one can imagine, tied solid by the provocateur saffron. One for my collection, congratulations Alexandria.

Not my cup of oud. The oud in this is a bit fecal. It does dry down a bit to allow the rose and amber through...but still is too funky for me. Longevity is above average...projection is average. I will let this macerate a bit to see if it improves, but currently a pass for me.

This is very reason why there are so much of ordinary people around the world, their grey lives cannot appreciate this beauty. This is TOP of the line scent at very affordable cost, anyone wearing it will be considered King like person.

Best clone that I have ever owned. I have a 10ml sample of The Night and I swear I simply can’t tell them apart. Other than longevity there is no discernible difference
