Tomcat is a smooth formulation that smells like a soft powdery floral and leathery type of oudh perfume with a demure but everpresent vanilla base that is sweet but not tooth-achingly sweet. Unfortunately, I still need to get my nose on Babycat before I can say how close Tomcat may be. Very similar to the Lattafa's Safwaan L'autre Oud I already have. L'autre Oud doesn't really have vanilla smoothing it out, however. The leathery and powdery quality may give some people headaches. Edit: Tomcat is really close to Fierte but Fierte is smoother. Babycat and Fierte are really too close but if you want the smoothness from Day 1, get Babycat. Tomcat and Fierte will continue to develop and strengthen, but Babycat is perfect out of the box.
