Unforgettable

If there is truly anything negative to say about this terrific fragrance, it's that this scent is so strong and will project across the room. The upside to this strength is that it makes a great scent to use for scenting rooms in my house. This is such a beautiful scent and I can't stress enough how wonderful it is. While it may be very strong, it isn't overbearing nor is it nauseating. A sweet and thick smell that could be great for those wanting to be noticed. I am going to buy the original Tom Ford Black Orchid to compare. For $32 you can't go wrong with this one.

A bright and rich floral, fruity tropical scent with citrus’s and an amber vanilla base. Very natural smelling. Ylang Ylang is on of my favorite perfumery notes and here it takes center stage! I can see this worn in any season by a man or woman. Full bottle worthy!

This is only an OK scent profile to me. I guess I was expecting something slightly darker like the Black Orchid Parfum, which is most definitely more masculine-leaning. I wouldn't say it's entirely feminine however because it CAN be pulled-off by men too. But the floral aspects are overpowering, while the darker aspects like the chocolate and patchouli are very subdued. I was looking for something more masculine but also somewhat unisex and this is definitely more feminine than unisex. Guess I will take an L and just shell out the money for Black Orchid Parfum..... sigh

Unforgettable is on par with the other 13 releases from the Wonderful house of Alexandria Fragrances that I personally own... there are many more left for me to try but as of yet I have not been disappointed and honestly in most cases i am usually kinda blown away by the artistry and workmanship that Master Perfumer Haney Hafez brings to his art. Any, and I mean any Alexandria Fragrances is a safe investment even as a blind buy. There are only two houses a guy needs for his Fragrance needs... and this is my number one go to!!!

I wish I could say I'm mad about this one but it does have excellent sillage like the majority of AF frags. It is a dark, woody, rather smoky sort of chocolate orchidy scent. Definitely unisex. I've no idea if it is a good inspiration of TF Black Orchid but I'd not be surprised if it was as TF perfumes for women have a tendency to be strong and not to be sprayed heavy handedly. A layering companion, such as a powdery vanilla, bring out the dark fruits, flowery notes and patchouli best. A mature scent.
