Zion Intense

Fruity opening. The initial spray reminds me of a crisp gin and tonic. When it dries down, I get a really green note which may be the ivy. It’s giving juniper and a little pine. I haven’t smelled the original Elysium so I don’t know how they compare. Projection and longevity are great. This fragrance would be great for Spring and Summer. Solid 7/10

Rather than intense, I feel like this is the feminine take on Zion. Opens very fruity and floral with juicy apple, bergamot, and what I’d swear is currant from the original/inspiration. So sweet and fruity with a definite jasmine undertone. I’m hesitant to wear this in public as a guy.

Zion Intense opens with a crisp, refreshing apple note that immediately captures attention. This fruity burst is invigorating and sets a promising tone for the fragrance. However, as it develops, the scent transitions into a more generic fresh citrus aroma, losing some of the initial distinctiveness. I haven't had the chance to compare it directly with Elysium Pour Homme Eau Intense, so I can't speak to how similar they are. Nevertheless, Zion Intense feels like a sweeter, more feminine/unisex take on Elysium. While it has its merits, the shift to a more generic fresh scent and the sweetness lead me to prefer the original Elysium. Projection is moderate, longevity is really good with 10+ hours.

I love the scent profile and the uniqueness of the ivy, which I assume they replaced the rhubarb in the original with, but good God is this stuff beastmode. I had somewhat the same experience with their Scent of Peace inspiration. It survives wash cycles. Im afraid to go over 2 sprays. A random woman in a store complimented me so I took the opportunity to ask her if it was too loud and her words were “people are going to smell you for sure but it’s not too much in my opinion”.

I like to imagine that the ladies of the IDF smell like this.
