I absolutely love Icon,,,,to the point of buying 4 bottles cuz its batch code 5049,,,,so I thought lets see, I need another winter scent etc since CH Prive to me is not everyday all day kinda thing....soooo I bought Elite...have it for about 3 hours now....not bad,,,not great imo....I realized my interests changed in that I no longer enjoy florals in my scents unless its combined as a fresh fruity etc etc....in heavier colognes like this one or L'uomo etc it seems to be the first thing my nose picks up and somehow bullies all the other scents within to the side if you will....prob allergies as my head gets tight with these scents...had to get rid of La Nuit...silly me,,,should have known and remembered that...lol,,,,have it on now of course and the dry down is the best part...so far opening after reapplying on other arm seems to be sharp and a little harsh,,,...I dunno dont love it....wont buy again as I see so far....got 100ml for 50 taxes and delivery,,,,so mmmmeh'.....no where close to Icon,,,,even though its suggested some elements are similar,,,ya well not in the smell Ill tell you that...will update see if it changes....oh well...looks like my CH Prive is still the king of the 'heavier' styled colognes etc! im soooooo trying to love it,,,but just dont feel it yet! and with the never ending search for a good daily winter kind of scent,,,the thought crossed my mind to buy Savauge for the first time ever....club me on the head like a baby seal now!!!! LOL

Dunhill Icon Elite is quite underrated and might be my favorite of the Icon line (the original Icon being another contender). A woodsy yet fresh masculine fragrance, very enjoyable if you like dry wood accords and aren't big on the sweet, powdery vanilla bombs that are common in the "classy men's fragrance" niche nowadays. Icon Elite starts off dry and peppery and quickly dries down to a nice creamy sandalwood and leather base with the earlier notes lingering in the background. The leather here is rather soft and tame, not that harsh leather accord that gives some people headaches -- Icon Elite is a first and foremost woods-forward fragrance. It's not a "leather frag" by any means so don't let that chase you off. Performance is very good on my skin. I can't give a specific hour range but it's one of those that sends up pleasant wafts of itself until I wash it off in the shower, gently reminding me it's there throughout the day. The presentation is also great as is the case with the entire Icon line. Icon Elite appears to be the cheapest of the lineup as well (as of this review), making this an easy blind buy recommendation for fans of masculine woodsy fragrances and bottles that can double as self-defense tools.

The sandalwood is strong in this one. A definitive icon of masculine scent (pun intended). First smelled it on a strip at the departmental store. The opening was too citrusy for me. Immediately threw away that strip. But then I had a change of mind and asked for the promoter to spray it on my wrist. Now, we speak business. On my skin the opening was more tolerable. I could immediately recognized the woody elements there. And thus, I bought it without even waited for the middle notes and the dry down to came. So how it turned out to be? Sprayed it immediately after I paid for the 100ml version. And the rest of day was showers of compliments from various people that I met.I knew I smelled so good that day. Definitely a worth buy. One of my signature smells as what my colleagues said. Very woody but yet soft and sweet, pleasing to the nose. Longevity is moderate for me and the sillage is good. Not too projecting but not too subtle. How can I not love it. And this is the only perfume which I don't mix with another fragrance when I decant. It doesn't work. It is so perfect on its own. The best in Icon series I guess.

OK I got the 3 Icons now, but I have not tried the original Icon yet, so I can only compare this one with the "Absolute" version, and they are totally different, I find this elite version pretty comfortable, not to fall on my "love" category, but good, I love the bottles of these flankers, they look very nice. I may do an update in regards performance and longevity, but so far I think it will be gone by the end of the day. At the end of the day, the fragrance was still present and had evolved very nicely, I will rate it at least 4 stars out of 5. Update: I finally got the 3 icons and I think this is the best of the 3, well I might need to wear more the original icon, but this one has brought compliments more than expected and men asking me what I was wearing, it has a great performance, and I think it has a better performance at night, and longevity is a beast, will last until next day at least on me. I may restock just in case, but this definitely stand out in a nice way.

This is a common scent amongst men's colognes but done uncommonly well. This is a very refined yet approachable scent that I doubt anyone could find offensive. Great all arounder (maybe the best), goes the distance in a professional setting. It's comforting, just like everyone is saying. Honestly the scent profile here is nothing unique, something I feel every name brand store tries to mimic with their take on a cologne, a cheap imposter. This one isn't. This one is king and the false idols bow before it. Personally I don't have anything else to compare it to (I'm sure others do much better anyways). Definitely a bright fragrance that has clear scents of juniper, orange and ebony fresh smells with a hint of a little woody sweetness. Modern, so not heavy with the woods or smokiness or any of that nonsense. I feel like I'm beating a dead horse -its a great all arounder -people will appreciate it.

Great job by Dunhill. Nice Spring/Fall day fragrance, maybe even for summer evenings. The truth is that it is very versatile, and can even be worn at the office, since the projection is moderate-low. Because of the cardamom/bergamot bomb it reminds unavoidably compared to YSL La Nuit de L'Homme, but unlike La Nuit, Icon Elite stays on the elegant and classy side thanks to the combo of a suede accord and creamy woods in the base, and avoids the sweet bomb thank to a more pronounced bergamot as well as the sandalwood, lime and orange notes. A real chameleon! That said, the cardamom note - the main player here - is (unfortunately for me) present from top to base and becomes cloying at some point (a bit overdosed?). How I wish they re-did the same without that cardamom! Good performance. A solid release for fall/winter daytime, but you MUST love cardamom in order to appreciate this one.

This is not an intense version of Icon but completely different. I love Icon but loved this one as well. This is a very sexy masculine fragrance. Sophisticated exotic wood type of a woody not kiddie cedar tree house or saw dust woody. This is a romantic night type of wood. a mans man. one men want to emulate. To all people saying it doesnt last or that they cant smell it on themselves after it dries...you forget that fragrances are not meant to be smelled by oneself. Others around WILL smell it when you pass by. It doesnt necessary become close to the skin but it becomes your skin. Its that personal and sexy. No other fragrances out there like this. A+ This is best suited for night, winter, fall and cozy times

A classy, elegant scent, that is under-rated in my view. This works best in cooler weather and is date or office safe. This is one of Dunhill’s best. Mainly a woody, gentle musky and powdery scent. Probably better for guys over 30. The citrus notes fade fast. I get about 4-5 hours out of this scent and it projects about an arms length around me. I think most people would like this fragrance. I imagine that it’s better for formal occasions rather than casual ones. I think this is a safe blind buy for someone looking for a formal cooler weather scent that is not overly sweet, but is stylish and gives you a very pleasant scent bubble.

Great endurance on me for a current scent and yet it never screams. It's properly present even with just a spray or two, no need to make sad excuses like "ohh After an hour I can't smell it but my mom still can," this is just present, straight and simple. And yet it's refined and smells expensive. I like that this skews younger than Icon, you don't have to be a daddy to pull this off. A less archaic Icon. I'll admit I've worn this with T-shirt and shorts in summer (diluted) because introversion and good quality make it versatile. I have the shower gel and aftershave balm and wish they made more products.

Without comparing it head to head, this scent simply reminds me of Burberry Touch, with a touch of more freshness. Semi-sweet and fresh, woody, pleasant, relaxing scent, that is easy to wear on any occasion and weather. It is not super unique, but for some reason, this is the one that I kept spraying since I received 4 different fragrances few days ago. Temperature testing is approx 68F degrees. Update: been wearing for the last few days without planning to do so. I just feel the urge to smell it, like an addiction. It is not super unique but I just can't explain why I keep reaching for it.

Really nice addition to the Icon line. It's a mix of Creed's Royal Oud (minus Oud) and Tom Ford's Santal Blush (minus cumin) in terms of smell and vibe that it gives off. There's sweet aromatic from the cardamom and a dense woody mix. I actually thought there was cedar in this, but it could be the ebony wood (not too sure what it's supposed to smell like). The sandalwood is excellent, very opulent and gives a slightly darker/cooler vibe to Elite. I like this a lot. Projection is pretty wafty, 2-3 feet. Not sure about longevity, but somewhere over 5 hours right now.

I'm wearing a black sweater to work and so I thought I'd wear this to the office as I rarely pick it up. I was engulfed by it in my car on the way, not in a strong way but rather nicely surrounded by the scent. Now I've never really rated this one and bought it blind cos it was cheap, but something seems to have happened. It's creamy woods and very attractive cardamom that dominate the scent now, almost going as promised with the notes displayed here. It's very safe yet very pleasant, so I'm feeling very good about it now, way to settle nicely.

A great offering for men like me who veer away from the sweet side and love woody scents. Makes me think of things like Kenzo Jungle, which I love but has serious performance issues. The main player I pick up is the woods, which give me a sawdust vibe. In other fragrances, I've seen people refer to it as pencil shavings, but I spent a lot of time in a woodshop, so that's what comes to mind for me. Also in the same family as CDG Series 3 Incense Kyoto. At the price, it's an absolute steal for the woody fragrance lover!

It just arrived in the post and I have had my first blast. The opening is very pleasant indeed and I really like this. The middle is very good too and yes I like too. Overall, this is a really good sweet smelling scent and I do love it. Projection is excellent that's not over the top and people will notice it 6+ feet away! I am very impressed with Elite and I give it an 8.5 out of 10 all they way! Update: Longevity isnt that good., 4hrs max!

This one is truly one of the most underrated scents on the market. I don't get why this isn't more highly rated. Icon Elite is as suave as it gets. I mainly get pepper suede and sandalwood with the one and the combo is just amazing for my nose. The best part about this scent is how much I paid for it. $18 for a 50ml is what I paid and for that price, it's an absolute steal. Amazing scent for the price and I highly recommend it. 9/10

This scent just screams "Fresh out the Shower, and Clean Shaven". I blind bought this based on the reviews here and I can truly say I do not regret this. The price is right and the sillage is very good. It has a monstrous, long lasting profile, and everyone just seems to give me compliments when I wear it. Buy it. You wont regret it. Solid 8 out of 10

This fragrance is one of the very few that grew on me tremendously, it is now probably top 5 in my collection. It is dark, fresh, minty, woody, all at the same time. I was very hesitant to love it so much because Icon got all the love with the reviewer. This dark bottled Elite is my dark horse.

I got this off ebay for 12 bucks so i wasn't expecting much. But its actually pretty good. Smells like pure suede to me. Doesn't project longer than 2hours really. Stays a skin scent for a few hours. But for that price, its worth it for me.

i really didnt like this fragrance...then today -- a year later -- like so many other challenging fragrances...it suddenly clicked. amazing..then a couple hours ago....6 hours after spray....i recieved a compliment lolol . go figure

Cold timber with elegant spice. Refreshing vetiver and cold citrus. Sweet sage and sweet leather. This all creates a refreshing but relaxed vibe. I tend to like Dunhill perfumes in general.

You can't go wrong with this one. Smells better than the original Icon. Totally blind buy and office safe. Masculine yet rounded and likeable smell. To bad it's discontinued....

The definition of an office scent like most of the Icons. This should get more love i feel, its also stronger then the original one. For the price you a very nice scent.

Dark, heavy, woody, and a bit of spice. No sweetness what so ever which I like. Stays close to my skin, but lasts 9 hrs easily. Excellent cologne 8/10

Alfred Dunhill Icon Elite Men EDP opens with a moderate projection of citrus, woody, and spicy accords. The opening is unique, nicely-blended, pleasant but soft. The citrus notes are delicious, the combination of bergamot, lime, and bitter orange creates a sharp sour touch where the bitter orange is at the top; unfortunately, the citruses are ephemeral. The woody accords are next and they are here to stay, the ebony wood is a noticeable note, black, fine wood and is quickly joined by the suede creating a unique scent. The suede is evocative of dry leather, not too strong, but noticeable. Then, the secondary notes, some sweetness from the sandalwood, the spiciness of the pepper and cardamom, and a pinch of vetiver. The fragrance has some significant opening to dry-down changes, the opening contains very sharp and sour citrus notes, particularly the bitter orange, but they fade away quickly, then the ebony and suede take the lead, going from a citrus to a woody fragrance, but in this process, the fragrance loses most of its initial projection, it becomes a faint scent. Once Alfred Dunhill Icon Elite Men EDP has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a very soft, mildly sweet, ebony wood, suede, and sandalwood fragrance with spicy accords. The fragrance feels casual, common, disappointing, formal, inexpensive, light, low-quality, masculine, modern, nocturnal, short-lived, warm, weak, woody, and pleasant. BATCH REVIEWED: 2020. This was very nice in many ways, a spicy yet clean scent with the right amount of depth but still incredibly accessible and crowd pleasing. I think due to the relative boldness of Icon Absolute I was expecting this to be even more luxurious and some how even louder but it isn't. Reserve is the key to this and it plays it's hand well. The opening is mysterious, clean masculine woods very subtle, vetiver and some peppery spice with a smooth cardamom vibe. It's very much a raw stripped back L'Nuit de Homme and definitely more in the vein of the original Icon. It dries down to a heart of deep and satisfying woods (which is apparently ebony) and it's really lovely there's also a creamy sandalwood at the base. So all in all a decent fragrance, well it's not without it's issues. The facts are this scent is very subtle, the quietest so far in the Icon line and longevity was not great. However, I have only worn once and I really didn't spray much at all, so I could be being unfair to Icon Elite. I really need to try this fragrance again because I definitely liked it, wouldn't go as far as to say I enjoyed it but I'd definitely give it another go. Update: Having given this another go I have to say it really resembles Paco Rabanne XS or Creed Himalaya but crucially with a more amped and soapier focus on cardamom. This is the heart of the fragrance but there's hints throughout at a softer drydown, which last time revealed that exotic wood and santal vibe I liked let's hope it does the same now I'm wearing a proper application. I have to say this is a pleasant masculine scent which I have a soft spot for because of the assoiation with Paco XS, a scent from the 90's I'm coming to realize, I really miss. Good but not great, more palatable to my nose than the other versions, although I'm okay with them too.

As has been said below, this is not "Icon Noir" or "Icon Intense" but a new and different scent altogether. About all it shares with the original Icon is a great bottle design. I love the ebony element in this fragrance, it is darkly woody yet somewhat sweet and it makes its presence felt throughout the life of Icon Elite. I also like the depth of notes here, the scent opens with a bit of light, bright citrus and green cardamom and proceeds to gain richness. The spices and woods here are warm and resinous, not sawdusty, pencil shaving-esque or synthetic pseudo-woody. There are also some aromatics that weave through the scent. It is dignified but not at all stiff. I can easily imagine men from 18-80 wearing this fragrance and enjoying the experience. My bottle is from the initial launch of the fragrance and the juice inside displays formidable projection after it is first sprayed and continues with at least moderate projection through the vast majority of the scent's ten hour duration. I generally use this fragrance in cool or cold weather. In hotter temperatures, I find it gets cloying. All of the Icon line have nice presentation, but this product has one of the best bottles anywhere, IMHO. The all black bottle just works with the design so well. Atomizers are good. And the cap is heavy enough to be used as a weapon. You cannot see the level of the liquid through the sides of the bottle, but the bottom is clear glass so you can monitor use by tilting the container and looking in through the base. This technique proves useful because full or empty, this bottle weighs a ton. I enjoy Icon Elite and recommend it strongly, but because this is a heavy and strongly aromatic woody scent that not everyone will like, I suggest that you try it on skin before deciding to get it.

Dunhill من خط آيكون.....عطر "النخبة" بتركيز ماء عطر Icon elite....edp تم اصدار العطر سنة2016 العطر جميل و متقبل حسب رايي الشخصي.....آمن.... متوازن ستحس بجميع مراحله....ابتداءا من الافتتاحية التابلية الحارة التي يكون بطلها الكاردموم....مرورا بالقلب المشبع بالنوتات الآروماتيكية ...كالميريمية.....ختاما بالقاعدة الخشبية التي تارة تحسانها كريمية نسبة لنوتة الصندل و تارة اخرى تبرز....حديتها نسبة للنوتات الخشبية البحتة.....مع تواجد نوتة العرعر الراتينجية الصنوبرية في الخلفية العطر يصلح في رايي لجميع الفصول ما عدا فصل الصيف..... عصري و كلاسيكي ....في آن واحد.....يصلح للارتداء في مكتب او ادارة....كما سبق و ان اشرت لكم....انه عطر جد آمن و جد متقبل..... بثبات فوق المتوسط و فوحان متوسط...... ارجوا من اخواني ان يحاولوا تجربة العطر.....دمتم في رعاية الله و حفظه.....سلام ❤️

Nice very masculine scent, however, the performance is below average. Longevity is 4/5 hours with good projection for like 30 mins & then drops off significantly. I can get a bottle if I find at 30$ or below. After a couple of wears, I can confirm I underrated how this performs. On clothes it can last for days & still be detectable from 1/1.5 meters. I was collecting my shirt to put into the washing machine days after spraying & was surprised to see it still projected heavily. For the price (I got it at 47$), this is a fantastic value for money.

This is a nice fragrance. The wood in this fragrance is deep (not dense) to the point that I smell incense in it which is not listed (maybe that is the labdanum that tricks my nose). Another good fragrance in Icon line. I think it is definitely worth a try if you like deep wood smelling fragrance. I would have liked this maybe even more than Icon if it was a bit louder. It also has a darkness into it that reminds me Lalique Encre Noire very much. Overall, I think it is a good addition to your collection.

Warm, dry, woody, smoky. Reminds me of a drier Montblanc Explorer. Minimal citrus, just a hint of sweet. Very masculine and somewhat understated. I'd say a cooler weather fragrance. Gorgeous bottle too. I got 1.7 oz for about $20. Crazy good value!! Update: After about a week of wear, the longevity is about 4 hours. It's weird, after that it just vanishes. Barely a trace. I hear most Dunhill fragrances have the longevity problem. Still recommend; it's an under-represented scent in men's cologne.

This is a typical Dunhill understated frag but i do like it a lot. Its quite unique, something i do get but its not listed is a vibe of coconut and slight vibe of JPG Scandal which i got a sample sent me the other day which does have coconut in it. Longevity is ok and will last an evening down the pub. and the wife loves it so hey thats good right :) I like it better than Absolute which i find to be a weak limp oud, and thats all i smell is weak Argar wood nothing more.

This fragrance has a tree scent from beginning to end. Ebony and sandalwood are dominant. In the background, lime and bergamot create some relief, but they are very light. The main actors of the fragrance are sandalwood and ebony. There is always a wood smell, but not dry. Wooden furniture smell of wood. Its spread is beautiful and its permanence is satisfactory. You can feel the smell on your skin even after 8 hours.

Traditional, masculine, a touch old-school. Opens slightly musky, yet bright, then quickly settles into a classic vetiver/deep citrus/lite-musk beauty. Nicely composed and put together, nothing too unique or special, but very pleasant and easy to wear, particularly for those who prefer a restrained and mature scent. Very similar to the original "Icon", but with slightly less pepper and a touch more vetiver and lime.

A pleasant scent that is easy to wear. I initially thought this was like Ungaro III with the rose turned down and the leather turned up, but Icon Elite is a overall darker scent and I realized this really wasnt a good comparison wearing them side by side. The leather in Icon eventually gives way to woods and juniper but until that happens the leather dominates. A like not love for me, but it’s a decent composition.

I really like this smell, very masculine, woody. Subtle lime and burgamot opening. Strong sandalwood and suede and hint of pepper at the base and on the skin. A little more mature scent, for fall/winter and evenings. Not a big bubble thing, and does not have a ton of longevity, but good. (kind of smells like Bvlgari wood essence.) I would recommended this for a mature man. 8/10 .

Very nice masculine woody, leathery, almost petroleum/rubber vibe. In the best possible way. This is fairly unique for a designer fragrance, and the quality is on par with other even more high end designers. Smells nothing like the original Icon, which I love. Sweetish, rubbery leather with spices and clean fresnhess. Really enjoy this one. 7.9 rating

Love this frags deep slightly sweet leather vetiver sandalwood thing ... sweet and smokey. Like a darker but smoother Issey la nuit. I can't stand sweet teenybopper frags or overly loud invictus types etc.. This stays in the arsenal. I feel blessed to have found this affordable gem

Smells like Versace Man. I smell like, a lot of safron, even though it’s not listed. It’s very spicy, slightly sweet. I like it. Feels more dressed up, not very casual. Expensive vibe. Attention grabbing character - for the one who wants to be noticed.

Got this today, smells like a more toned down on the citrus version of azzaro silver black. A bit more modern smelling. Projection seems good, it's been about 3 hours and still quite strong so for the price I paid(29 cad/50ml) it's already worth it.

Very smooth spicy and woodsy perfume, you can definitely smell the cardamom and the ebony whitch is smoothen out by the vetiver and the sandalwood, i think its a nice office fragrance, not to loud and not to offensive, i do like it.

Dark oriantal scent, the opening is magical and dry down is kinda old man smell. Excellent for +40 men with coats who spend their evenings with some good old friends. The bottle is very heavy and well made. 2018 patch made in USA
