This fragrance appeared a week ago in my collection, I hadn’t heard anything about Alfred Ritchy before that time. At first I became interested in Lakeside, but when tried Urban my heart was stolen immediately! The first that I felt were roses, amber and moss. I like the fragrance very much and I’ve been wearing it for a week. In my opinion Urban is very classy modern chypre, I would even call it a “rose chypre”. It is floral and warm at the same time, there is some sweetness which I don’t know where comes from. It doesn’t scream, it is just present the whole day. It would be appropriate for any season, except those very warm and hot days. Elegant, calm and expensive frag, you can also smell the quality ingredients. It is really different from those sickly sweet scents that are so popular now and I like this! It also reminds me of the smell that you can sometimes find in the inner part of a lady’s bag that’s made of suede with traces of some perfume, cream, lipstick and a tiny little bit of sweet tabac) It’s almost summer now, but the evenings are still refreshing. Yesterday I wore Urban in the evening as the sun was just about to set... what can I say?! It’s gorgeous! So rich and thick without being vulgar and everything that is too: loud, sweet, intense, etc. Now I consider this to be an ideal warm summer evening scent! I’m so delighted to own this fragrance 🌹
