Coming across reviews here I had to add to and repost as this is just an astonishing spice perfume without par. Some comments (thankfully) below reflect the unique nature of this perfume. Whilst it’s a largely linear perfume and a number of the ingredients ‘dance’ around bouncing back and forth the whole time which is what makes this such an olfactory journey. Accurately quoted below the reality is to fully enjoy the experience you likely have to skip a shower for one day LOL! Truly! Remarkably similar to Spice Bazaar though lacking the citrus punch - it’s also ALOT stronger. Oily, syrupy, powdery, sharp, dark and piquant from beginning to end 18 hours later - very linear. A beautiful smooth blend of all the spice notes - maybe the anise/vetiver giving a sharp clean brightness on top so as you don’t think someone has spilled a pan of prepared spiced cooking oil on you, the anise a touch more noticeable nose to skin as well as smudge of lavender - all the while a beautiful bright sweetness dances around (the cinnamon and bright pineapple) making you want to smell/lick it also making it gourmand. Fresh yet warming. Wearable anytime of the year or any occasion. Received many compliments. I don’t like Spice Scents and just when Spice Bazaar converted me this utterly whammied me. Straight to the top shelf you go!

Labyrinth of Spices by Alghabra Parfums is, without a doubt, my favorite offering from the house. True to its name, it is a labyrinth of spices, taking you on an immersive journey through the Grand Bazaar, where exotic aromas blend harmoniously in the air. The opening is a masterful and unique fusion of pineapple and coffee, an unexpected yet beautifully executed pairing that immediately sets the stage. As the fragrance unfolds, it deepens into a rich tapestry of spices—cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, and cloves, evoking the warmth and mystery of an old-world spice market. Lavender provides balance, preventing the heart from becoming overwhelmingly spicy, adding a refreshing counterpoint to the composition. As the fragrance settles, woods, musk, and vetiver form a solid and grounding base, while amber, tonka bean, and labdanum remain present throughout, enriching the scent with depth and complexity. Being an extrait de parfum, Labyrinth of Spices offers outstanding longevity and projection, making it a truly remarkable creation. Got a sample of this and currently wearing it. I am not sure how I feel about this, but I do appreciate it. It is indeed everything about Spices. It tickled my nose when I first took a whiff off of my arm. I am about 10 minutes into the wear and it has mellowed down, but I can tell it still is producing quite nicely. It's a decent fragrance... it's a like for me and not a love. I don't see me reaching for this very much, but there is something rather intriguing to this that I'm enjoying. Will have to wait and see how this plays out! I don't have anything like this in my collection, so there is something I may be looking for a deal on. UPDATED: It kept lasting and I kept sniffing myself... Carried on for a long time. Waited a month and kept thinking about the spices of this fragrance... had to track down a bottle!

Labyrinth of Spices, inspired by the Grand Bazaar, is another stunning offering from Alghabra. The long list of notes blends in a way that makes it challenging to pick out individual notes, though I find myself sniffing my wrist incessantly trying to figure it out. One can imagine walking past well-stocked spice vendors in a busy bazaar, the air laden with a melange of amazing scents. This is a unique fragrance; It smells absolutely nothing like anything else in my collection, in the best way. Like other Alghabra fragrances I have tried, the performance is fantastic. Some people think it leans masculine; I think it is completely unisex.

The name and the notes of this is so divisive! Or either they are blended to perfectly to brings this effect. I get a very soapy, musky, powdery start which i love, then becomes a velvety spicy ambery beauty. It reminds me of satin oud by mfk and 40 knots by xerjoff, I'm not saying they smell similar, but they've got a similar effect on how the notes are being spread. Edit. I'm getting lots of rose jam even tho it is not listed as a note.

finishing my first bottle, and i really am fond of this blend. i get a woody almost incense like strength that flirts with fruity sweet undercurrents. the wood lies on a satin pillow, sexy decadence. although it does not conjure the instanbul spice market for me, it is definitely turkish perfumery. it reminds me of, but it is not that similar to many niche turkish fragrances. i am a big nishane and pekjif fan.

This is a very well blended mix of spices, its very creamy and sexy, towards the dry down it smells a bit leathery on my skin and then soapy and very clean, overall a great fragrance for spice lovers. It lasts a long time and has great sillage throughout.

#1001 in my "Tour de Fragrance' Well, this is certainly a "Labyrinth of Spices." Usually these "everything including the kitchen sink" fragrances are kind of indistinct and mild performers. Not this stuff. Good longevity and sillage. I was surprised the clove, anise and cinnamon don't overpower the entire experience, though they definitely do dominate in the opening. But after a bit you pick up the coffee and tobacco. Dries down to mostly woodiness. All very masculine. The scents I've experienced that come off like this are Tiziana Tirenzi "Arrakis", a spicy scent named for the main planet in Frank Herbert's "Dune" where the factions do battle over the life-extending and mind-expanding "spice", and Mancera "Red Tobacco Intense." I prefer Arrakis to this, and Mancera Red Tobacco Intense to Arrakis. And given the price of this Alghabra and the Tiziana Tirenzi scents, I'd recommend you skip past both and get Red Tobacco Intense if you don't already own it. Similar note profile at less than half the price. If you already have the Mancera, this will add nothing to your scent palette. But this is classy business wear, even formal wear, date wear if she's looking for the second husband, and probably not a fragrance young guys will gravitate toward, but who knows. In any case, given the price tag, get a decant from Scent Split or Fragrances Lines before you spend this kind of money.

Ambery Liquor. Warm, powdery amber and fresh yet warm spicy accord of cinnamon and cardamom. Very ambery, it almost smells like rum and cinnamon. The combination of cinnamon (warm) & cardamom (fresh) gives it this almost-paradoxal warm/fresh spices accord. It has a mild but noticeable kulfi-like sweetness, that's it probably form the sandalwood's creaminess. While makes it unique, it takes away for the scent for the non-gourmand lovers. Warm, fresh, spicy, ambery, rummy, slightly sweet, kulfi-esque. If you know what Turkish coffee tastes like, you sure know that this has none of that smell/taste. Masculine, cool weather wear. "Like"

This opens with a kaleidoscope of sweet and piquante spices supported by a smokey amber resembling burnt sugar. Soon the tobacco emerges amidst dusty sandalwood and coffee. There is a prominent rose note in the heart due to the interplay of the tobacco with fruity notes and palpable ambergris. In the later stages, you exit the labyrinth of spices and enter a coffee market redolent of roasted beans in open bulging bags. This is a superior coffee perfume for the connoisseur. Quality: 10/10 Personality: cosy, aesthete Sillage: 6+ feet Longevity: 12+ hours

This is such an unique scent. Opens up with a blast of spices, including clove. Dries down to a very smooth and creamy sandalwood, spicy, slightly powdery scent with a touch of coffee in the back. Very well balanced scent. Longevity is 8+ hours. Worth sampling if you want something special in your collection.

One of the longest lasting fragrances ever 24 hours plus. To me it's like a Initio's Blessed Baraka after the dry down. This I find interesting, because their fragrance Eye of Seven hills smells just like Initio's Side effect.

Likeable. Approachable. Warm yet fresh spices. Dry aromatic woods with a TON of musk and javanol on drydown. I really dislike the traditional amber accord (a la Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan), but here, I smell labdanum instead.

Am I the only one suffocating from the rose accord ?! I like it but it’s very hard to pull that one off !

There's a little sharpness from the spices upon first spray, but it calms down fast and you're left with a slightly spicy melange sitting atop coffee bean, lavender and tobacco. There's a little zing from the pineapple but it's really not all that present. There's a sweetness under it all that is a little anise-y, but not overly so. I agree with others that the tobacco is a little overbearing and smothers some of the spice. There's none of the terpene zing from the cardamom or nutmeg here. Even the cinnamon and clove are muted. The name of this fragrance does not really reflect what you get. The drydown is a soft, pleasant woodsy amber. Quite unisex due to the anise and tonka bean. Suitable for cold weather. I gave this a full wearing and while it's certainly pleasant smelling, it's nowhere near as interesting as other offerings from this house. I'm fairly underwhelmed.

I'd been eager to try this, and initially I was so blown away when I first sprayed some out of my little tester vial that I immediately rated it Love. Within about 45 minutes I was coming to my senses, however reluctantly and finally moved it over to a weak ok. There's just way too much tobacco in this. It's not a great tobacco scent either. And it's no top note; it just overtakes everything for the first 3 hours. Beats the nutmeg and cardamon to death; they might as well not even be there. I'd like a scent with all the other notes but no tobacco.

I can not believe I’m saying this but it has to be said; I regret blind buying this one, I love eye of seven hills and king of flowers but this one is too spicy for my taste, and now I’m never blind buying fragrances 😭 Which is a good thing where less money will go with the wind 💸 😌

Is it just me, or is there an intense pickle juice character to this? Both in the opening and at dry down, I smell a powdery pickle juice character. Not necessarily a bad thing if that's your jam, but I would definitely not recommend blind buying this one.

This fragrance is much too much of too many things. It is the equivalent of a Christmas tree with 300 ornaments, a B&B suite where the bed has 20 decorative pillows, a woman who overdosed on statement jewelry. That cacaphony goes on for at least an hour and finally settles a little. Once it does I will say it’s mostly a vetiver wood and oakmoss thing. But it’s unpleasant when the spices fruit and coffee are duking it out. Do not blind buy this! To avoid dissing alghabra too much I will highly recommend Istanbul’s Soul. Lovely scent.

Over time I've learned that fougères are not for me—and Labyrinth of Spices (a wonderful name!) is a powerful male-leaning one. i really really wanted to like this but the cardamom was just too soapy and it ruined the whole experience for me:(

I sprayed this about 25 minutes ago and all I get is dill pickle. Out of all the fragrances that supposedly smell like pickles, this is the only one where I agree...very odd. Update: Unfortunately, that dill pickle smell stays throughout the life of the scent...it’s been a few months since I bought it, and every now and again I’ll spray it on my wrist to see if the scent has macerated into something more pleasant, but it hasn’t...still pickles. Final Update: It's been about 5 weeks since my last update, and this still smells like pickles. I'd say I have a very good nose and ability to identify fragrance notes, and I am simply not picking up any of the ones listed above. This is very sour/tangy, herbaceous, and pungent...just like pickle brine. It's also linear, it smells like pickles from first spray till it fades into a skin scent. This simply can't be right and I probably bought a bad batch of this stuff. I can't in good faith sell this or give it away, so it has to go in the trash at this point. Side note: I attempted to return this when I bought it, but LUCKY SCENT wanted to charge me a 50% restocking fee, even though I explained the scent was defective because it smelled like sour dill pickles. The audacity, not for having a restocking fee, but a 50% restocking fee! As if they weren't going to just turn the bottle into decants and make 3x more than what they sold it to me for. Buyer beware. 😑

This is an absolute no for me. Opens with an massive blast of a pickle juice-like accord, which is so incredibly off-putting. Even once this dries down, the scent sustains a very noticeable, massively zesty dill-like note that I cannot stand. I get a bit of the coffee and clove, but to my nose it is super overshadowed by the pickle smell. Do not blind buy this.

I love spice notes in fragrances. Fougere fragrances have started to attract me a lot especially in recent years, I guess I'm getting old (: I made a blind buy of this perfume just by looking at the notes and now I am quite surprised. I was expecting a bold, another pungent spicy perfume, similar to many, but it turned out to be completely different. It's warm, fresh, woody, and clean at the same time. Honestly, it's unlike anything I've ever smelled before. The opening starts with a blend that reminds me of green tobacco leaf and fresh spices. Make no mistake, this is not a tobacco fragrance. You can feel the freshness coming from the pineapple. After about 2-3 hours, around the middle, anise starts to show itself and I feel a little clove. Then the dry spices show up with hint of sweetness. In drydown, it turns into a soapy, clean scent but not the always! The interesting story starts here, it feels like a different perfume every time I wear it. The opening is the same, but after it dries, sometimes it's musky, sometimes it's sweet, sometimes it's the inky feel of oakmoss and woody cedar. Maybe it has something to do with my mood at that moment. I have a hard time explaining it and I realized that whenever I really like a fragrance, I can't find anything to talk about it. I just focus on the feeling it leaves on me. And I call this pure art. It's complex and it surprises me every time. Every time before I wore it, I ask myself what it will smell like today. It's a fragrance worthy of its name. I understand why they were influenced by Grand Bazaar from Istanbul. Wearing this perfume makes me feel like I'm wandering through a labyrinth.I absolutely love it and I'm a bit obsessed right now, I must admit. Performance is very good, nice scent bubble with 10+ hrs. Unisex. If you're into fougere fragrances definitely recommended to try.

Labyrinth of spices is a meal that will take hours for your skin to digest and will linger for days. Prepare to get lost in the spices as you uncover the aromatic vault. This opens with a dated bitter green accord held up by a pesky underbelly of something faintly minty. This maze has a lifespan exceeding the average longevity due to the inescapable presence of cloves as it traps your skin with its sweet spicy profile. The musk doesn't present any navigational challenges and can be found throughout the middle leading to the back part of the entanglement. The nutmeg flickers and performs as a saccharin in rotation with the anise and clove. At the 4-Hour mark, the mixture of accords in conjunction with cedar begins to resemble the smell of cardboard as the composition dies down from that proverbial mossy stage. I couldn't find a passageway leading to the tobacco or the tonka and maybe this is why the fragrance stays green longer than expected. Two entities are simultaneously at work: The spices are doing it's version of the Three Man Weave while the other notes are winding and twisting and at times existing endlessly. This Labyrinth succeeded by trapping you inside the maze of spices. If you want to determine the true longevity of this fragrance, you have to be willing to skip a shower.

This is aggressively woody. I had hopes given the ingredients list that it would scratch a few itches for me, but it just sits as a dry woody fragrance. Borderline brutal sandalwood and cedar dominate and drown out any other listed ingredient, with the acception of anise, that wafts in and out of the duration of its life, which is several hours. Think oud bakhour incense, thats it, and only it. Nice if you want to smell like that, offensive if not. 5.5/10 Side note... To the reviewer below, pickle juice is definitely something I picked up on when I first sampled this, and Im happy you mentioned it. Over time I think Ive realized theyre probably using tumeric oil, which in some scenarios leans dill-y or pickle juice like 👍

Unique, subtly sweet, arid spice melange. A touch savory to add realism and depth. I have a hard time describing what this one smells like to me — I am familiar with the smells of many spices and no one characteristic spice jumps out here in my opinion. If I had to identify one taking form the most prominently, it would be a subdued cloves note, but even that isn’t very obvious. I can make out the vaguest hint of that green pineapple note, too. It is implemented in a mature and interesting way, nothing like you might expect. An interesting smell to navigate. However, I don’t like the late dry down as much. I think it loses a lot of its charm after a little while on skin. 7.8/10

After sampling a few fragrances from luckyscent, this one was the winner and I consequently bought the bottle shortly after. There is definitely something Middle-Eastern about it in the way that it is very musk-heavy. It serves as the base whereupon lies a bed of spices, woods and vetiver. Most of the notes are prominent throughout the wearing for the first few hours until the drydown, composed largely of musk and vetiver. It is an extrait concentration so +8 hours of performance. The ingredients in this smell high-quality. I can't say that I wear it very often, but I'm sure that this house will have a large following of loyal fans.

I love it. It's diverse in its smell profile from wear to wear. One of the best things I can say about it, 4 hours after I apply and don't remember what I put on,I can't place what the scent is. I'm always saying to myself, "what is this, I like it" always to remember, it's labyrinth of spices. I don't know if that makes sense, but to me it's why I love certain niche scents. The complexity of the blend that always gives you something different from each application. It's also very meditative 🧘♀️ to me!

Take Musc Ravageur, remove the vanilla, amp up the musk and the spices and add some anise in the mix. Not an easy one but definitely worth trying out if you are into this kind of semi dirty spicy fragrances. Really long lasting with powerful sillage. Full bottle worthy, no doubt about it. A great one from Alghabra!

The Labyrinth Of Spices on my skin manifests itself as a musk smell that gains bitter nuances by cloves and tobacco. Although not included in the pyramid, the mixture of notes brings the feeling of a rose aroma in the background of evolution. It's my best discovery of the last few months. Incredible.

At the end of 2 hours, which starts with intense smoky and strong smokiness at the beginning, it takes on the smell of paper, yes, paper, but strangely I like it.

Sweet amber slop. With some spices.
