Bloody Orange

This is a very interesting scent. It's quite complex, actually, and I find the notes very unique. At first spray there is a blast of juicy oranges and a prominent, fresh carrot note. The drydown is quite musky and a bit powdery, the caramel is definitely there but not really sweet or strong, and there is a slight hint of spice. Sillage and longevity leave a lot to be desired, however I love the freshness of the scent and I think there's nothing else like it as far as the combination of notes. I really do like this, just disappointed in how light it is. I think this will be great for summer though when it's super hot out!

Don't expect a fresh citrus scent! That's not what this one is at all. After the first blast of blood orange, which (thankfully) goes away in a matter of minutes, I was left with a soft, rich, powdery jasmin-patchouli scent. There's still a hint of creamy orange in there, but it's not prominent. For the Lush fans out there: On me, this smells a LOT like The Yuzu and cocoa bubbleroon combined with the Karma soap. I absolutely love it.

For me this fragrance smells like orange tang, musk, and patchouli with the occasional appearance of caramel. I have the sampler set, and this is the most wearable (for me) out of the collection. The projection is low. It's been an hour and the scent is close to my skin. I can, however, still smell it if I get within one-to-two inches from the surface. I have to say, with all the notes listed, I am very disappointed :/

When I first sprayed this perfume, I got a strong scent of blood orange - delicious. The citrus faded away over the day to leave a mixture of patchouli and cedar, but lightened by the carroty middle notes. I found this quite an unusual and individualistic scent, and look forward to exploring it further!

Bloody Orange is a citrus gourmand fragrance very uncommon and very delicious. It opens with grapefruit and pulpy juicy ripe oranges. This is orange juice as it starts. Then it turns into carrot juice (the carrot note). Because it is so fruity and so concentrated it smells like a V8 made of orange and carrot juice. Yummy! Refreshing and delicious summer citrus scent. It also has some flowers of cyclamen, lotus and jasmine but they're not big players. I suppose it turns into mostly lotus and jasmine and it sort of becomes Oriental. At times at this point - lotus, carrot - it reminded me of Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le Nil. There's also a saffron another Oriental flower. The spicy cumin and some patchouli give it a decidedly masculine and aromatic aspect. It's got some spices too I smelled cinnamon. A guy could wear this easily in fact I wasn't sure if I had accidentally put on a unisex perfume. The last part of the scent - or even the first part- is so very unisex. Smells of citrus guy cologne ingredient and then turns into patchouli along with musk and leather. But at the very end it softens. It's a vanilla dry down and the icing on the cake is the caramel. Sweet gourmand delicious rich creamy caramel. This is totally a gourmand. I don't know what to make of it. Aromatic patchouli, unisex, citrus, floral and vanilla and caramel gourmand. It's a lot of things! I love it! Please go out and sample this amazing fragrance! Perfect to wear in the summer!
