Ambrosia

A fruity (dark?) chocolate in the bottle, white chocolate initially on the skin, but dries down to what I originally thought were cherries. I still get cherries now (maybe the sour note Pixiedust2 mentioned?), but it's accompanied by a more lactonic, creamy note. It's pretty and simple. Definitely more youthful and less hippy/aromatic compared to some of the other Alkemia fragrances. If I smelled this on someone else (doesn't have the sillage for it, but let's pretend) I'd think they just recently took a cold shower using cake batter shower gel.

Very subtle, creamy sweet scent. It sits close to the skin as a 'your skin but better/sweeter' scent. I have a 5ml bottle but will probably not purchase the full.

I'm trying this for the second time. I let my sample sit for two months after my first try. It's full of honey and a strange bread note. I'm not getting any rice, which is what I was hoping for. It's supposed to be a ricey, milky, horchata scent. It smells pretty much the same as it did when I first got it. It's a bit sour, not super sweet on my skin. It's smells like honey and sourdough bread, no creaminess or amber. It's a bit salty too. Definitely sample this one first as it's very strange on me, and not in a good way.

I get a little cinnamon & a little Amber. Just got this sample today, so maybe it does need to sit a while. I can barely smell it. I won't be buying.
