Carnival of Illustrious Hearts

This has very quickly escalated into one of my favourite scents ever. I was sent this as a sample vial with another purchase and the moment I smelled it I was HOOKED. It's the most beautiful gourmand scent I've smelled in a reaaaally long time. It does have a bit of a sharp hit of vanilla when first sprayed, but that doesn't last more than a couple of seconds, and then it's sheer beauty! The whipped cream gives it a softness and creamy quality that I personally find quite irresistible. In spite of all the sweetness in the notes, it's not sickly sweet at all (I'm looking at you Delina). I've bought two bottles of their EDP formula already as I do spray it quite liberally. The duration is pretty decent as well, I've worn it on nights out and I can often still smell it the next morning as I'm lying down in bed. The only downside is sillage. I have to spray A LOT in order to perceive it properly, so one goes through the bottle quite quickly. I'm not sure if this doesn't happen with the oil versions but normally my skin does not get along too well with oil formulations, so I can't really tell.

This is a super interesting perfume. It reminds me a lot of Wonderstruck, which was the first perfume I ever bought, but it's a little more sophisticated. Definitely comforting, feminine, and pleasant.

I really like this one. Its easy to wear, not strong, a smell that you can just live comfortably in. It smells very pretty to me; feminine but it a calming kind of way (not sexy). You can smell some fruitiness in there as well as something sweet like sugar...more like powdered sugar. After a while it does become more powdery on the skin but it doesn't smell like baby powder. More like you rubbed the powdered sugar that they would usually put on pastries on your skin.

It's sweet, no surprise. Sadly there's no time to take it in and experience the aroma since it disappears faster than your dad did in 1985.

astoundingly boring for this house.. it is the smell you’re bombarded by when you visit your aunt who just can’t seem to leave her teenage years. plasticky cotton candy and nose-blinding amber, sigh.

This is definitely a sweet, feminine, perfume, and it reminds me of a cotton candy perfume I had as a teenager. It's nice, but not really my jam.
