Koi No Yokan

Oooh, this is so very pretty! This reminds me a little bit of Burberry Her Blossom because of the plum blossom and musk, but I think I like Koi No Yokan better. Juicy fruit opening, soft and delicate florals, and clean musk. I need a full bottle of this. Love it!

first whiff it smells really similar to another alkemia perfume i have? there isnt something that really stands out to me when i smell it. it just smells like another alkemia flower and fruit combo, not that it’s bad or anything there’s just no “wow factor” here for me. its very safe and inoffensive, smells a little like a mainstream perfume as well. i think im getting mainly that plum blossom, lily of the valley, and water lotus scent. i was hoping for more of a tang from that pomelo and tamarind but ah well.

I'm sure I smell sweet pea. There's a harsh (though not too strong) disinfectant note in the background. I bought it at the July sale (rested about 2 weeks) after reading how much people love it, but I'm unimpressed. Some of my Alkemias have had to age for nearly a year before I quit hating them (Bohemiens en Voyage), so I'll hang on to it for a while and see if I like it better, later on.

Not my thing. It's light, slightly sweet, powdery floral. Perfectly safe and feminine. Quite youthful. Only the tiniest bit of juicy. Not my style. 5/10

Koi No Yokan: The feeling upon first meeting another person that you will one day fall in love with each other. ( from Alkemia's etsy page ) Soft, feminine, low projection, safe. I detec a hint of the plum blossom, in a warm way, due to the musk. Then there's a slight green note but not too overpowering. Safe blind buy if you want to sample it. Nothing too unique in my opinion, but delicate beautiful nonetheless.
