Wing of Bat

I'm glad to see this has been added to the database. Many people swear that oil perfumes need to settle for months or even years after purchase but if that's true, this one might be the exception (at least for me). I've had my bottle since February 2015 and while it hasn't aged poorly by any means, the bright green notes have mellowed into a softer shade of green. I really enjoyed that blast of vivid green, fresh damp ferns, and clean green patchouli. The clean/fresh aspect is still here it's just not quite as crisp as it was 4 years ago. But still, I really like Wing of Bat. If it is a witchy perfume, it's not the dark brooding mysterious witch. It is a Green Witch walking through the woods on a late spring or early summer morning gathering materials from nature for later use in salves, creams, and healing potions. You can smell the fresh plants and roots caked with damp fertile soil that she carries in her satchel. Her skin has the scent of someone who has been walking several hours outdoors in the morning - clean dewy musky. This is a fresh an uplifting perfume. Try it if you are a chypre or green perfume fan.

I just blind-bought this off Alkemia's Last Chance page (along with a back-up bottle of my beloved and also discontinued Rara Avis). If you're a fan, get it while you can. I'll update this once I've had an opportunity to test.
