Yellow Book

i physically cannot state how much i absolutely adore this perfume, its wonderfully blended with the smooth scent of amber and tobacco and leather and all things lovely and gorgeous in the world. it smells like sunshine, it’s what a warm hug feels like and its those serene sunday mornings when the rays of the early sun seep into the kitchen and warm everything with its rays. it smells like being wrapped up in a blanket by your loved ones in the dead of winter. i want to bathe in this. all of the notes work in perfect harmony and there is not a single unpleasant note that stands out to me. unfortunately it will be discontinued soon, but i nabbed two full sized vials during their july sale. so lovely and amazing, my fav alkemia perfume!!

Normal application got me floral honey and nothing else. Slicking my skin with the oil, I get more tobacco and some dry notes that might be saffron, but it's mostly honey. Dries to a lovely nice sweet golden skin warmth, but still mostly it's honey. That being said, it's an excellent honey, missing the powdery baby notes some honey carry, and also missing the cat urine notes other honeys carry. Very pretty, but also simple.
