It honestly smells like a faux fur coat, except one that was worn to nightclubs, never washed, and left forgotten in closet for years, with body sweat and leather completely fused together. One sniff was almost dizzying and suffocating.

There’s no reviews for this yet?? That’s crazy! I made it a goal to check out some ALLOY creations this year, so ordered five travel sizes, including Faux. This one has become a fast favorite with its notes of almost candied, powdery Orris; I think the sweetness of the peach gives it that subtle candied quality, and combined with the muskiness, it has an overall effect of a slightly vintage make up powder poof, and oh my....I LOVE IT!!! I don’t think this travel size is going to last me long 😅 I’ve been really enamored with everything I’ve smelled from Alloy thus far. Nothing has been a disappointment. Highly recommend this very cool, unique house!!

The opening is definitely niche and different, almost reminded me when you walk through a Vegas casino and you can smell the history, kinda dusty in a good way. But once you get through that the dry down is actually quite pretty it’s soft, like Dove soap adjacent. Not much depth but clean smelling, considering there’s a fur note maybe it smells like clean fur?

First smells like a powdered candy straw before shifting into a well-loved fur coat accompanied by dried roses and apricots. Perfect for drama queens that wear eyeliner and red lipstick on a daily basis. Contemporary glam that takes vintage boudoir and flips it on its head.
