Concrete Rain

Love at first sniff. It's my favorite scent out of this AllSaints line. Light, fresh, clean, professional, simple, daytime scent. Great for spring and summer. No one at the office should be offended by this scent. Definitely unisex. It has all good qualities of a fresh aquatic ozonic scent, without its potential downsides - it's not sharp or nose-piercing. I wanted to buy a travel set with two other fragrances but it is sold out :( I compared it side by side to Creed Millésime Impérial and it's NOT the same scent, but I do see some similarity. Creed is more masculine while Concrete Rain is more unisex. More importantly, Concrete Rain is more aquatic, ozonic, light, crisp, fresh, clean, uplifting and transparent, while Creed is more soft, toned-down and citrusy (bergamot). I prefer Concrete Rain over Millesime Imperial. I see more similarity to Aqua di Parma Colonia Pura, and some similarity to Concrete Comme des Garcons, which I both like and have. I am happy to own a full bottle.

Finally - a true petrichor note!!! Concrete Rain throws a bit of a curveball, though: I was expecting "rain on concrete" in a cold drizzly Autumn/Winter's day kind of way, and I bet many others have gone into this expecting the same, but there's actually a lot of warmth! It reminds me of unexpected rainfall in the middle of an otherwise hot humid day, with a sort of metallic twang placing it firmly in an urban environment rather than nature. There's even a "thickness" to it that reminds me of that smell in the air before a thunder storm. The spice pulls strong on my skin, but the freshness of that petrichor note sticks around (surprisingly) for almost the entirety of its wear time to balance it out. Longevity is about 5 hours, or up to 7-8 hours if I'm just at home.

Quintessential grey day + true to name Not too warm or woody with the musk - well balanced and brings the concrete coolness. Opens and doesn't budge much in a very pleasant way. Comfort in protection. Fresh without giving soap, shower, green or even really blue. Indeed rain. The scent of silver and shine. if you know what I mean by this, blind buy friendly for sure~

this fragrance smells delectable over a bare vanilla, I use the Victoria secret romantic lotion, let that dry, bare vanilla Victoria secret body spray all over my body, let that dry and concrete rain on my pulse points and in my hair. Sounds overpowering, I know but it actually smells amazing. And my boyfriend + other boys really enjoy it!

It's 80% Millesime Imperial, with small facets of Comme des Garcons Concrete in the open. You can pick up a clean iris a tiny bit too in the mid. It's a very fresh aquatic take on some otherwise not-so-fresh accords. Very happy with this one.

Smells exactly like Mont Blanc - Starwalker, but this lasts longer...buy whichever is cheaper. Both are very lovely scents that give you the effect of what it smells like just after spring rain. Perfect for summer and the office.

Very unisex, so far one one of my fav perfumes. It smells like the way it feels to press your cheek against a cold window while it rains on a blue hour.

Maxaroma had a sale on allsaints, i got this and metal wave for about 50 a bottle (large size) I tried metal wave several times and now moving to this. I do like this, and to me it is very unisex, similar to a ck one vibe. I think a man or woman could easily wear this with no issue. It is very fresh and light and clean feeling. I cant say this is super unique or different, i cant say i smell concrete or rain either! But the name did draw me in! unlike metal wave which is very different to anything i have, this is more generic. You could probably layer this with other scents with ease. I got this one figuring if it was too masculine i would pass to my sons, but i think im gonna keep it and they can borrow it if they want :-) . It is a great scent for hot weather, going to the gym, pool, beach, running errands, and prob work friendly. I dont find it super strong. I think if you can get it on sale, it is a good safe blind buy for hot temps and everyday wear. I dont think the longevity is great, but then again i go noseblind to almost everything to varying degrees. There are only a few things i can smell all day.

This is a clean, fresh petrichor scent. The rain note is not screechy or sharp on the sinuses. It is also the first fragrance I have found with a cottonwood note that transports me to the spring season. The orchid note adds a little sweetness. The longevity on clothing is 24 hours. On my skin, it dries down to a barely there sweet musk in 2-3 hours. I have to use at least 5 sprays of this to enjoy it for a few hours. I also like to spray my hairbrush and brush it into my hair for a light scent. It is easily unisex yet not masculine. This is my favorite from the Allsaints line right now. I found Sunset Riot to also be quite good but a little too similar to Cloud which I already own. Edit: This fragrance has macerated & become much stronger over the last year. Now 1 -2 sprays is the maximum I can use. The dry down now lasts for 4-6 hours on my skin & I can't spray this close to my head or I'm overwhelmed by it. It is still retains it's original character & beauty though and has not turned.

I always wondered what petrichor smells like in a perfume scent, but according to other reviews, this is close. If so, then I guess I'm a petrichor fan. I am writing the review more about the performance on me. I'm not sure if I just go nose-blind to this or if it fades really quickly on me, but after about 45 minutes I can't smell this at all on me. I sprayed this morning, rather heavily. Then sprayed heavily again about an hour later and I'm not smelling anything again now. Luckily, I'm just at home today, so if I am just nose blind, I won't be offending anyone around me with a super strong scent. The fragrance itself though, is very pleasant, wearable, and I believe quite safe to wear around others. I've enjoyed every All Saints fragrance I've smelled so far. They are all very good, nothing mind blowing, but not everything needs to be mind-blowing all the time.

Light, smells like a rainy day in a park in London or New York... unisex, leans masculine. The orris root adds character, I like this note. I’m not getting much of the florals, lily and especially orchid are not strong florals anyways, but just brings some dimension to the rain notes. Mostly a ozonic, earthy perfume. At dry-down, getting more woodiness, like wet wood. As a woman I wished the sillage was better, but I feel it’s ideal for a man. He’s a masculine, intellectual, corporate during the day and enjoys runs in Central Park on mornings, and strolls at the Guggenheim on a rainy day... _____ Projection, sillage, longevity : 6/10 Originality, presentation : 7.5/10 Quality, value : 7.5/10 7/10

This is very much like Replica When The Rain Stops, I love Replica more, however it’s slightly different in its own unique way. It’s clean and fresh, without it being a cotton type of smell. There’s no weird petrichor note that is usually more like wet dirt or soil, but it’s bright and sparkling in a way. The sky is grey, there’s a slight chill in the air, rain that started as a drizzle now a little heavier. Your clothes are damp as you come inside and you wrap a soft cashmere blanket around you and you sit and watch the drops hit the cement outside. It’s quiet and peaceful

Definitely not as complex or unique as CK2, but if you like that one you may enjoy this too. It’s slightly sweet and powdery, fresh and clean but certainly has an obvious petrichor scent. I love CK2 in hot weather but find it a bit sharp on my skin in cooler weather. Concrete rain is a pretty easy reach at any time of year. It doesn’t last as long as CK2 but it’s really nice if you like the whole rain on pavements feel!

Pleasant, simple, fresh, minimalistic, kind of classy. Good after sports and for a casual wear if you want to just smell nice. But overall rather generic and reminiscent of many popular perfumes out there. If you want a better quality and more complex but similar perfume with improved longevity and sillage, try Juliette Has a Gun "Musc Invisible". It's not aquatic but very musky and has a cotton flower in it.

All Saints has some good fragrances. This new unisex line is already praised for Sunset Riot - which is a take on BR540. Concrete Rain is very much Creed MI. But as most know, the Creed fragrance lasts about 45 mins these days. You’ll get a few hours out of Concrete Rain at a price point of $79. I bought this a few weeks ago and have enjoyed it. This will be good when Spring rolls around.

This is another 13 but not as strong. My 3rd Allsaints fragrance and really enjoying their offerings so far, especially for the price.

My honest review: Tbh it didnt meet my expectations, smell wise its okayish. You get this gray floral vibe but to me its just vague. I really love other rain floral scents like when the rain stops but this is just too vague. Its not bad bad but yeah all I get is greyish florals. I dont get any rain. And to make it worse the performance is crap, I get 2 hours at best. Im not trying to say that its a bad fragrance, but for me it is defitinely one of my worser fragrances. 5/10

A very refreshing citrusy fragrance: smells like classic Turkish lemon cologne. Honestly that's basically it... A slightly more complex lemon cologne with ok performance. Not impressed with this one after 'Metal Wave' and 'Flora Mortis'. It's undeniably pleasing & fresh especially for summer, but there are far better unisex/male freshie fragrances on the market same price or less. Pros: incredibly office and healthcare friendly.

After trying all of the fragrances by Allsaints, I can say that this one is my least favorite. At first spray, it’s a lovely, cold scent with rain notes and light florals. Sillage is very intimate. When it dries down, there’s a sharp, earthy orris note that overtakes everything else. It completely ruins the cold, delicate atmosphere of the fragrance. Concrete Rain would be so much better without the orris.

I wear this one when I'm feeling anxious or classically "down in the dumps." I do this because I don't really care for the scent, which smells what like I'd imagine the acid rain from the 80s smelled like, and I don't want to associate a scent I like with being sad. I've been wearing this fragrance a lot recently. One day I hope the rain will let up.

Seems like pretty authentic urban petrichor once it dries down, if not a little soapy, but by then it is very much a skin scent. Opens with cologne-like notes. Imagine an Abercrombie and Fitch on the other side of a wet parking garage. Pleasant and wearable, was hoping that the petrichor notes would last longer and project more.

Faint. If Yves Saint Laurent "Y" and Davidoff "Cool Water Wave for men" had a lovechild. Except, it's so exceptionally faint. A sweet cigar/pipe tobacco kind of scent. I have this on a test paper, and there is no doubt this would become a skin scent. It's been 3 hours since first spritz.

Like, not love. Initial sprays I get pepper to my nose. Not a bad smell, just not what I was expecting from a "fresh" fragrance.

Like a posh powder room on a humid day. Not for me.

Smells like neither concrete nor rain. It just smells like a men’s “freshie” fragrance. As a woman who prefers feminine scents, I’ll pass on this and continue looking for a suitable rain/petrichor fragrance.

All I get is faint watery flowers with bandaids:(

Polished Iris with a zest of lemon granite The hottest day of the year quenched by a sudden burst of rain from a cloudless sky. The first inch is evaporated in a sizzle as it his the ground, creating a hiss and haze hovering above the pavement. Concrete rain opens in a floral fluffy sweetness, dotted with fresh lemons, and stuffed with soft musk. To continue following the name, it's as if your clothes, dense with fabric softener, were hit with rain and the scent is given a second wind. I think the comparisons to Millesime Imperial are completely fair in the opening and middle. Concrete Rain isn't as shimmering as MI, but is as refreshing in a warmer way. Where they differ the most in the dry down. CR veers into the asphalt. It leans in to a dirtiness there is no hint of at first. As if the heat had covered up most of natures smell until the rain acts as it's added ingredient, mixing up the concrete with Summer. The top to bottom only takes about 10 minutes, as you might expect the relief of rain to help. The extra layer of dried rain in your clothes, and the sweet linen /cotton musky smell associated within them after drying are most of the journey. It doesn't does strike me as a beachy scent, but somehow the atmosphere of shopping at a Tangier Outlet or walking down the strip beach adjacent seems like the time to wear Concrete Rain. An easy grab for anything.

If this had longevity, it might be considered a fav freshie, but because of its faintness, it's more of a mood boosting freshie, if you like purely natural rain-like scents. Rain is a tough note duration-wise unless it leans more heavily into the earthy, petrichor realm. It often confuses me to see fragrances that smell like mother nature as "masculine". I suppose because they are not sugared, mixed with vanilla, or bright florals? To me, this is a true unisex and very picturesque. There isn't a concrete note, but it's almost as if there is one in the background, maybe a couple blocks away. The florals are very delicate and faint, nothing to worry about for those who like masculine frags. The packaging is also quite beautiful. Not bad for the price point tbh.

Out of Sunset Riot and Flora Mortis this one is the most wearable on me. It's definitely unisex but leans more masculine, i love it! It smells like the name, a rainy day in the city, a little powdery and musky but the 'aquatic' notes definitely cut through to make it great for everyday or a scent for throwing on after a shower. The only thing making it unisex is the very faint floral notes so don't be turned off by it. I don't understand why we don't hear a lot about Allsaints' fragrance line but they definitely are on to something.

It’s nice, but it’s nothing to write home about. As has been said, it basically smells like Creed Millesime Imperial (and therefore also Armaf Club de Nuit Milestone). There are slight differences (I get the note in the base that is supposed to be “concrete” and I guess it does kinda smell like that) but overall that’s mostly what you get. So yeh, it’s alright, but there are better offerings from Allsaints imo.

This is delicious but not at all like petrichor. It is a lovey soft iris that really is like Creed Millisime in a weird way. If you want real petrichor, go to Etsy and buy Mitti Attar from India- it actually is distilled oil of monsoon rain. Back to this perfume, it’s mild and reminds me of light grey cashmere shawls. Unisex and great for any season.

I wanted this one so much, but I got a confirmation from the seller that it is discontinued... My only hope of achieving this scent would now be to use Le Labo Baie 19 (my favorite watery petrichor perfume) and just try to use it outside. The conrete already smells if you live in the city, so this combo may work.

I have this for two reasons: 1. At shoppers drug mart, all the All Saints fragrances were $21.99. Bought Sunset Riot of course and this. I blind bought. It's just a synthetic "clean girl" scent. 2. I was going to sell it, but my boyfriend said he loves it so i am keeping it so i can wear it when he takes me out.

Perfumey rain, not realistic. Subtle and pleasant fresh office perfume. Slightly clean sheets (cotton) and soapy vibe. Made me sneeze when I sniffed the test spray on my arm.

To me this smells like a bubble bath during blue hour with all the lights off. Beautiful!

Smells very bland. Like detergent that’s watered down. Not for me. Not strong at all.
