Ravaged Rose

This other than sunset riot is my fav scent from Allsaints, a shame they discontinued some of their older fragrances and limited to 3. However, this is a rose scent done right, very soapy, clean and extremely versatile fragrance! You can use it literally during any season, day or night time 8.5/10 scent.

Really nice floral fresh scent, so many people at work asked me about it. Decent longevity with sillage around half an arms length. Amazing atomiser

One of my favorite fragrances right now. My best friend told me it reminds her of her vacation to Singapore.

For the price and the fact that this brand rarely releases fragrance, this one is decently priced and good for daily wear. It stands up to plenty of other fragrances of this price point by other fragrance brands. It opens with a rather heavy handed and sugary berry and rose, but neatly dries down to a rose heavy generic perfume. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel but the rose is strong and luxurious. You will not enjoy if you dislike rose. Base is rich with amber. Also randomly enough the sprayer on the bottle is nice.

The dry down reminds me a bit (in a good way) of a rose/floral fabric softener. It has that dryness of a fabric sheet mixed with a clean rose scent. If you like clean everyday rose type scents you should try this. I do think because less men are drawn to clean floral fragrances this will be worn by more women than men but this isn’t a hard one for any guy to pull off especially in warmer months.

Great for everyday wear. Surprisingly, for such a fresh, rosy perfume, it lasts quite a while and has earned me many compliments at work. It’s very consistent and leaves a lovely woody-floral dry-down that lasts all day. My boyfriend absolutely loves it!

A cute, pretty rose that reminds me a whole lot of Valentino’s l’air innocence (don’t know how to spell the name, but from the line anatomy of dreams). Nothing unique but perfect for everyday. I’m considering getting a bottle from a discounter.

A little bit too masculine for my taste. Not a sweet rose, but fresh, watery, airy.

Really wanted it to smell like Atomic Rose considering the only thing holding me back is the hefty price tag. Good thing the Boots assist recommended I tried the tester before blind buying this one. A fresh, watery rose that screams basic. Easily forgettable. Didn’t remind me at all of that beautifully sweet rose from Initio. Very glad I tried the tester!

I've developed a masochistic habit for finding out (and complaining about) horribly mangled and abused rose perfumes: Eau de Protection, Hell of a Rose, Rosa Carnivora, I could go on... As soon as I read the bottle for Allsaints' Ravaged Rose, I thought, "Here we go again" ...but actually, this isn't that "ravaged" ...and for that matter, neither is it that "rose". No, this is mostly a sweet, tangy, watery (lily) berry-lemonade, with a touch of spice, and a dash of rose water. There are also some green, musky (amber)woody basenotes, ...probably because getting too gourmand would be off-brand for Allsaints. I'm not hating this, ...I'm not fully in love either, but I can appreciate an eccentric, and difficult-to-define, fruity-woody-peppery-green-musky-rose scent. This reminds me of Obsession Night for Men, NOT in any kind of similar notes or dupe sort-of way, ...but rather just on general, esoterically thematic grounds.

Tried in store. Similar to the Initio / PdM sweet rose DNA. Pretty decent clone.
