Sprayed this onto my clothes before I went to a bonfire that the guy I’ve been dating had last night, woke up beside him this morning and all he could say was “Mmm, you smell so good” and kisses from my wrist to my neck while sniffing. Longevity for me, 10/10 but sillage is moderate. I don’t care for the sillage in this one because I like the idea of it being moderate/intimate for when he’s close to me. I’m sure if I oversprayed everyone would smell me. I’ll test it and come back here one day! As for the BR540 comparison - yes it is along the same vibe but I’d have to say Sunset Riot has qualities of it’s own going on. I’ve compared both only in store and I have to say - I love this one so much more! Not worth it for me to spend on BR540 when I’m a bigger fan of this one. UPDATE 06/10: Something weird with this perfume, in a good way! It actually smells better on your clothes the NEXT day. When I first spray it, I can't smell it too much. After a few hours of spraying my jacket to test my theory, I could smell my jacket from 3 ft away and caught whiffs of it here and there. I'm obsessed. It's such a lovely unisex fragrance and is so mysterious with the way it decides when it wants to be noticed. I now spray my clothes the day before wearing them and top up once I'm going out! LOVE!

As it was stated in previous reviews, this fragrance has a definite br540 vibe mixed with Abercrombie. Warm weather gives the maximum effect so I definitely advise wearing this in the summer, but it can truly be a year round, signature worthy scent. Perfectly unisex, this has something for everyone. ( it is not as sweet as AG Cloud) Projection is moderate with a light spray, beastly if you are an oversprayer. Longevity has yet to be determined. Price point is very good in comparison. Edit: longevity is great- 8hrs+ with one spray. BRAVO!! Opening spray gives that sweet strawberry/ dentist office clean smell laced with a good new leather seat. As it dries, something citrusy/resinous peaks out and gives the sweetness something to blend with. The earlier notes don't dissappear, but I would not call it linear. In the final dry down a lovely antique rose (don't be afraid of the rose, its not prominent) with a touch of pepper joins the chorus to complete this stunner in a truly balanced finish. This is one of the first fragrances I've encountered that opens with an overall impression and gently reveals each note as it dries. I love it! Beautiful, energetic, positive, popular; these are all words that come to mind when I smell this. So glad I added it to my collection.

Getting to know this scent about a year now. The chemical/dental fabrication aspect is prominent over a sugar, intense sweetness. I get very strong performance and longevity. This isn’t entirely mass appealing in my opinion. The dental chemistry of the fragrance is unique and not all noses will find it appealing. I’ve had a couple negative reactions when wearing this, but I’ve had a few more positive comments than negative. It’s ambience: urban, industrial, machinery— but sweetly alluring. A definite juxtaposition. It’s metro, it’s being in the city center. There are sugar and sweets baking from food-vendors. A cotton candy machine? There’s a collage of strip mall chain stores huddled together, a nail salon, a tax service provider, a dress boutique, a drug store/pharmacy, and, yes, a dentist office. U won’t smell like most others with this scent. Where I come from, I’m not running into scents like this at least. Not many br 540 wearers here, which sunset riot gets close to. I think the quality and the uniqueness of this fragrance make the price u pay fairly reasonable. Not a cheap scent, not watery, not lacking substance. All Saints did a good job for what they were looking to accomplish with this I think.

I think I reviewed this in the past, but just in case I didn't here we go! I have the original, and I'm so sad they discontinued it and revamped it. I haven't smelled the new one, but I love the original and am so worried it won't be the same. This original is so good! When I first got it, it reminded me of the way malls in America smelled in the early 2000's. So it's really nostalgic. But over time I've come to deeply love this fragrance. On me it lasts a long time, and stays even longer on clothes. It's got a similar DNA to BK540, but it's woodier and a little more synthetic smelling. It has that burnt sugar and amber element that I deeply love. I'm a huge fan of woody fragrances with some sweetness to them and this is perfect! It's a bit on the dry side but still a little sweet. I wore this for the first time in a while yesterday, and my boyfriend made several comments about it and how much he liked it. But he's not a big gourmand fan, he likes oud and rose, amber, and more unique scents. So I was surprised how much he liked this - and I think it was partly due to the wood notes. I love this one, and I will savor my bottle.

I was surprised by this one! Initially I thought it was a little bland, but then it just really grows on you! Upon spraying it has a sweet element that reminds me of Ariana Grande Cloud. But then it gets more woody, smooth, and more unisex. I now actually really love this! It’s inoffensive and could easily be worn in an office setting. It smells clean but without being green. It’s light but not too vapid. It has moderate lasting power. It fades faster than Ariana Grande Cloud. But I don’t mind given the price tag. My husband said it reminds him of the mall in the early 2000s! And I definitely agree!! It’s a bit nostalgic in that way! Reminds me maybe of Hollister or A&F. And I’m certainly not upset about that! I’d absolutely repurchase this when I run out! Update: turns out I wear this one a LOT! I would say it’s for sure my favorite cheaper fragrance, and I’ll probably always keep it in my collection. I grab for this very regularly and really enjoy it.

I really like this fragrance and it makes me sad that others don't feel the same way about it. I liked the sample I got of BR540 but it was a bit too feminine for me and the price was far too high. I think this is my happy medium for the "rouge" fragrance family. It has that candy-sweet opening like BR540 but as it dries down it becomes a fresher, slightly more generic "cologne-y" scent. Thankfully I don't experience the performance issues some people are mentioning. Sure, the similarities to BR540 don't last very long, only maybe an hour or so, but the fragrance NEEDS to be seen as its own thing and NOT as a BR540 "clone" to be fully understood in this way. In short, it's a bit more of a masculine "rouge" scent profile with a similarity to BR540 in the opening, but over time it evolves into a fresh & uplifting scent. Seems very versatile, and stands out among the other scents I own!

I love this but it’s definitely closer to Ariana Grande God is a Woman than it is to BR540 or Cloud. It’s literally the same scent but more masculine as GIAW has a fruitier opening. To me it smells like water, which may sound redundant because water shouldn’t have a smell but that’s all I can picture when I smell it. It also has a synthetic smell to it, almost like plastic but somehow it works rather than feel cheap. It works in all seasons at any time of day but I’d say it hits the sweet spot as a warm weather fragrance for daytimes. Lay it on thick though because I feel it doesn’t last long. 100ml for £40 is good value I’d say and it’s a good crowd pleaser (if it projects far enough to reach the crowd). A great blind buy, a great starter fragrance, I’m a big fan. Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 4/10 Projection: 6/10 Versatility: 9/10 Price: 8.5/10 Overall: 7.3/10

Review number 2: I've now tried this arm to arm with the original Baccarat Rouge. The opening is the exact same, except for a dry, more powdery quality that Sunset riot has. The dry down is very different, though, Baccarat's being much sweeter and richer, Sunset's goes a bit herby and bitter in comparison. They both have good sillage and projection- but I'm weird with this one in that for me, Baccarat Rouge is quite an inoffensive and light fragrance, and it doesn't project on me as much as it seems to project on other people, I have tons of other fragrances with better performance, so I don't want to compare them too much in that regard. I hope this helps! It's a great dupe and a gem of its own, specially for the price.

Smells like Ariana's Cloud OG and 2.0 without the marshmallow-sugary-sweetness, coconut and every other ingredient that I cannot detect because, honestly, I am not familiar with them. I think I'll purchase this because it is a fresh scent, has Cloud DNA with ZERO coconut! My preferences are in the fresh/floral/clean fragrance family and I really like it. The only thing holding me back is that I purchased Cloud 2.0 for my daughter and I really don't wanna steal that particular dna from her fragrance :-( I have yet to test BR540 so can't make any references to it. I'm REALLY tempted to buy and I just won't wear it while she's wearing her Cloud 2.0. I've always been like that cuz it doesn't sit right with me.

After having watched a frag.com video I decided to give Sunset Riot a try and I am absolutely head over heels with this fragrance. It smell's like a combination of BK540, a dash of Parfums de Marly Herod, and a pinch of Parfums de Marly Layton. I am truly crushing over this fragrance and can't wait to try some of their other offerings. This incredible fragrance smells woody, spicy, and powdery with a hint of citrus that adds a little floral lightness to this perfume. This fragrance is a true gem!!!!!!! My 3 P's - Price 8/10 - Projection 8/10 - Performance 8/10

I love this scent. I saw it described on TikTok as smelling like BR540 and Abercrombie had a baby and I instantly went in my Nordstrom app and ordered it. That was all I needed to hear! It does not disappoint! It doesn’t smell like cloud to me in any way, this doesn’t come off sweet on my skin, it smells metallic and slightly masculine. I can totally see the comparisons to BR540 and I think this is a better dupe for me than Cloud. It really gives me Abercrombie vibes the most! It takes me back to walking into the store at the mall in high school.

I have not idea how similar to BR 540 this is having not smelt that juice yet out of sheer stubbornness! Partly as a own and love many FK fragrances already and cannot justify the price...This was a blind buy during the lockdown as wanted an affordable daytime cozy amber. This doesn't disappoint! Sweet, sparkling peppery opening and a soft amber dry down with some interesting molecules added for sure. Unisex, yummy, and addictive. My daughter literally ran across the room to hug and huff me upon my first wearing, so has that effect!

After trying a sample of this scent, I purchased two bottles because I loved it and wanted it to be my signature, but, upon wearing it regularly, I noticed it has absolutely no lasting power on skin. The wearer has to spray the scent on clothing to get any sort of lasting power. I decided to put the bottles up for sale and find a fragrance with a similar aura. I personally don't want to discuss the notes, because buying this will truly be a waste of time and money. It's a shame, because the scent is beautiful, but it doesn't last.

I love this scent. The woody note in it keeps it out of strictly "feminine" territory. To me, it smells like BR540 extrait got together with By the Fireplace, but created a blend that is quieter and softer than either one of them on their own. My skin eats perfumes, so I never expect much longevity on anything I buy. I will gladly respray Sunset Riot as needed, but I find the sillage and longevity just fine for the amount I paid for this scent. On a cold day I love to put this over the top of By the Fireplace...a fabulous duo!

BR540 DNA without the headache nor the resin (or, as I smell it: "dental cement"). I am very sensitive to BR540, and it can make me feel nauseous. However, this – I love. The soft, spicy floral from the pink pepper and rose make this amber scent very beautiful. It is sweet (less than BR540) and yummy. It smells significantly different from Cloud by Ariana Grande, which is very fruity with strong pear and plastic scents. I go crazy for Sunset Riot, and it smells fantastic on both me and my boyfriend. Overall, I love it.

WHAT DENTIST'S OFFICE ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO THAT SMELLS LIKE THIS??? I've been in dentist's offices forever and they smell like old nasty cloves, burnt tooth enamel, pain and bitter disappointment and despair when they see the bill!! This scent is fantastic!! Yes, BR 540 but I get the pepper right from the opening to the end. It's not too strong but lasts a good 6-8 hours. The scent bubble is close so ideal for office and won't offend anyone. One of my best bang for buck bottles in my collection.

The fragrance apprentice on YouTube was recommending this awhile back. Yes this does have some similarities with BR540, but it's much more masculine, I can't wear BR it's to feminine for me. This opens up with a more fresh blast and stays a while and the sweetness stays behind the whole time throughout its life. Surprised the votes for longevity no being great, I get a good 10 hours and a great projection for 3 or 4 hours. For me it's a summer time 9/10, Just got a back up.

I must be the most picky person when it comes to perfume. I've tried everything and I mean everything. But this is the one. Obsessed with the smell. Saw someone on Tiktok saying it was a dupe for the famous Baccarat Rouge (the only perfume I like) I had to try it. It's absolutely stunning on skin and clothes. The mid notes are addictive and it wears well. For the price it's insanely good. Wish there was more clarification on if it is tested on animals but honestly so good.

A really nice fragrance! If Baccarat Rouge 540 and a lemon had a baby, it would be Sunset Riot. I used up my 2ml sample and the longevity is good, especially for the fragrance being fairly affordable. Found a bottle for 30 pounds on Amazon UK. The notes they put on their fragrances are so off, just keep that in mind. so this smells nothing like roses and it isn't amber heavy. This line of fragrances is also Cruelty-free, which we need more of in the fragrance industry.

My buddies and myself went to the mall and smelled over 50 fragrances. One buddy and myself both agreed Sunset Riot is the best, even better than more expensive designers and niche. The fragrance doesn't lose the beautiful juicy opening. Longevity is great with this one, and drydown is similar to BR540, although this blows BR540 out of the water. Top 10 Summer Fragrance of all time. Trust me! Skip every other designer. Get your nose on this! This is not a BR540 clone.

This is such a beautiful, soft & cozy fragrance. I love it by itself for spring and summer, and layered in colder weather. My boyfriend is sensitive to a lot of fragrances so I don’t wear the majority of my collection around him, but this one doesn’t bother him at all & he always tells me I smell good when I wear it. Longevity isn’t great on my skin, so if I want to get close to a full day’s wear I apply Vaseline to my pulse points first & spray my clothing as well

Wow! Baccarat Rouge meets Gucci Rush and have a beautiful love child. This has the same strong opening as Baccarat but a more floral centre. The dry down is, on me, very similar to Gucci Rush. It lasts 6 to 8 hours very well. It lacks that "fresh coconut" addictiveness I get from Baccarat rouge that not everyone gets, but it's a magnificent amber, full of personality. Aptly named, this is wearable but energetic and out there. Great perfume.

To me Sunset Riot is the rock & roll chic scent I was expecting from Black Perfecto. It’s the one I reach for on cool fall nights out that call for two-toned jeans and my favorite studded leather jacket. Sad to hear so many get poor longevity out of it; it lasts through the day and night for me until I wash it off. Dry down reminds me of a less sweet, younger, cooler sibling to BR540. Just gorgeous and rather affordable in my opinion.

Just to get it out of the way, I have no idea if this is a BR540 dupe. What this is, however, is a stunning amber fragrance. On initial spray, I do get the "hospital" scent that others have talked about. It is slightly chemically. Once that passes however, this is a slightly sweet, amber fragrance. It reminds me of sweet popcorn from the cinema! I can't stop sniffing myself when I have this on, it's intoxicating.

This is 95% baccarat Rouge a bit more fruity in the opening and lighter, the dry down is really similar to br540 so it’s a good alternative at an affordable price, lasts about 6 hrs on skin and I can still smell it the next day on clothes. I don’t know where Fragrantica got the above notes from but they are incorrect, All saints website will give you the correct ones. It’s a thumbs up from me.

Pleasant androgynous ambery smell in the minimalistic bottle topped with a concrete cap. It doesn't have a strong ambroxan note of the Cloud or the indulging richness of BR540. It's a kind of thing on its own and totally represents the style of the AS brand. I’d get it to wear to the office with a dark grey/black dress on a gloomy day if only my teammate didn't wear Cloud🙄 everyday...

I sampled this on my hand at an AllSaints store recently and I am in love. It definitely smells like Cloud and Cloud Pink but more grown up, smoother, blended better. I have AllSaints Flora Mortis, which I love, but it's low on both longevity and projection, so I was surprised to keep catching this candy, slightly citrusy scent wafting around me.

To my nose, Sunset Riot does share a lot of similarities with BR540 (I've had both). As other reviewers have stated, I do think this leans slightly more citrusy and of course the longevity and sillage are not as good as BR540, but still decent. I personally like lighter scents, so this works for me and the price point makes it great as well.

One of my all time favorite scents. On my skin, it performs so much better than BR. Love the glowing amber as it evolves. Never gotten more compliments for a perfume that i wore. Not a fan of the Intense version though, it leaves me with just leather. Wish the original version would come back. Would wear it any given day.

As everyone says, BR540 DNA. But 540 for night time, this for day. Similar experience to MFK Fluidity Silver, some of the Florises (Elite?), even Habit Rouge. Its that kind of sparkle, likely the amber. An uplifting, feelgood fragrance which should make you smile. Unisex. Decent performance, I like this a lot. 3.5/5

The best release in years. I don’t like sweet nor amber, but this is soooo nice. No idea what the rest of the notes are, but this is a perfect unique and soothing fragrance. Performance is really good, lasts all day. Makes me very curious about the other releases of AllSaints. A definitive top 5 for me, a keeper!

I stumbled upon this fragrance and absolutely love it. It reminds me of Electimuss Trajan which is 4 times the cost and hard to get in Australia In my opinion both the above are missing an ingredient in BR that I dont care for. I highly recommend this one.

I’ve loved this one for a few years, and it is similar to BK540 but not as sweet. Definitely more dry and woody. But I’ve had people mistake me for wearing BK540 when I’m wearing this. So nice dupe! (That’s also happened to me when wearing cloud!)

This is one of the most intriguing fragrances I own. It’s a harmonious sweet/green that stays on skin for 10+ hours. Subtle class refined and 100% unisex. Really versatile. I can see it being worn Fall/Winter/Spring days and summer nights.

I am not a fan of the opening, there is a strong scent that is not present in BR 540. But after it settles, it absolutely smells the same as BR 540. Very clean, sweet, expensive scent. I am over the moon as it costs a fraction of BR 540.

I adore this Amber above many other Amber perfumes. It is bright and sunny and sweet. Youthful, maybe. I can not smell rose in it, which I love. It is a cheerful, come-closer and get to know me kind of Amber. I am a fan.

Ariana Grande's "Cloud" without the plastic note. Cotton Candy. Tropical Fruit Salad top notes. Softer, creamy, milky cotton candy drydown. My favorite of the Allsaints line, and an instant love from me.

Extremely light-wearing ambroxan-y fragrance very similar to Cloud. Pleasant but I can barely smell it.

a less toothsome baccarat rouge - in a nice way. if only it was a bit longer lasting. really gorgeous.

Beautiful it has a BR540 vibe but it is much sweeter, it is a fantastic skin scent for everyday wear

A Toned down BR540 with a hint of spiciness. lasts for over 8 hours and smells beautiful. 10/10

I received a 2.5mL sample in a Bellabox and I instantly fell in love. I’ve never been drawn to this type of scent, often opting for more fruity, sweet or citrus scents. Upon wearing the tester it made me feel really feminine and sexy, even though I’d say this scent leans more unisex. It seemed to last pretty well, and after pouring through the reviews on here, I decided to take the plunge and purchase a full sized version. 100mL for $125AUD is usually waaaay out of my price range. The only other perfume I’ve ever purchased in that range was the original Miss Dior Cherie (which now is completely changed, and I dislike it). I was so happy at first, the first few days I couldn’t get enough. However, I find now that the fragrance seems to slip off my skin. It doesn’t have the long wear or the sillage I’ve come to expect from a $125 perfume. It’s extremely disappointing :( Whilst I’m obsessed with the scent still, I’m spraying a lot of the EDP on, and finding I’m reapplying throughout the day. This bottle is not going to last me long at all at the rate I’m going which is really disappointing. A+ for scent - it is BEAUTIFUL. The EDP just doesn’t last :(

At first sniff I got the fresh citrus and musk in this fragrance and could not for the life of me figure out why this was being compared to BR540. But I know that I’m anosmic to BR540 50% of the time so I got a small sample of this to play with and I definitely get the Abercrombie and BR540 had a baby vibes that I’m seeing in the comments. I love pink pepper and citrus in my fragrances and I love the sweetness in BR540 and this fragrance gives me that with a musky, masculine, fresh, citrusy punch. So when I go nose blind to the BR540 nuances in this I smell a fresh masculine scent that smells beautiful. That pink pepper in this also layers well with rose fragrances. I’m thinking this is full bottle worthy because it can be worn any time of day and in any weather... so I’m waiting on a sale or coupon and then buying it! Update: I got the full bottle

I first smelled this on my ex boyfriend, who had bought a sample. I LOVED it. so much that i went out and bought a bottle for myself the next day. However, on spraying it for myself, I discovered that the first immediate scent was a metallic, sharp, cheap smelling sticky sweetness that had no complexity whatsoever. I must have smelled it on him when he’d had it on for a while, because it smelled like gorgeous woody caramel amber, exactly like an explosive sunset. I was pleased to find that it did dry down to smell something like that on me eventually, but to be honest I like to be able to appreciate my perfumes from the get go, not to have to wait! I’ve also seen people saying this is a dupe for BR540 - it definitely could be, but this is like a flat paper version of that opulent 3D signature.

Experiencing anosmia upon first spray, almost couldn’t believe it was on shelves at all, and then I began to catch strong whiffs of it for hours afterwards. I wonder if there is some sort of molecular business going on because it reminds me a lot of how Not A Perfume behaves and a bit similar to how it smells. The scent reminds me of In The Stars and a bit like the discontinued August from Hollister (not listed in database). It kind of reminds me of when I’d walk past an Abercrombie store in the mall as a teenager, too, lol. This fragrance is an enigma to me. I’ll wear it out to see if it garners compliments when it’s playing hide and seek on me

A sweet-powdery-woody scent. It’s pretty pleasant. I don’t necessarily pick up rose from smelling this. It’s perfect for both day and night in the colder seasons. Not 100% sure if it was just my bottle, but the spritz is very saturating. You get a fairly wet pump when spraying. (Not complaining, because I look forward to wearing it). The aesthetic of the bottle is a nice touch too, I like that they took advantage of the label by also putting a graphic on the back. Also, the price for a 100ml is fair. I’m happy I added this to my collection.

I actually broke my damn no-buy for this bc I kept noticing it on YouTube and Nordstrom had it on limited sale. No regrets though. When I first sprayed this, I said "this reminds me of Cloud". But when I sprayed Cloud to compare, Cloud now just smells like Pink Sugar. 🤷 I'm too poor to try BR540 but between this and Cloud as far as dupes, this is more in my comfort zone. I could wear this to dress up or down. And I could also share this with my partner. It smells good but more unusual with it's gender bending. I'm glad I bought this.

This is the most well blended scent I have ever encountered so far, I am glad I held off reviewing it as it took me a while to actually get aquatinted with the notes. At first it just smelled like a hospital to me, but I love the human/primal smell but the more I wore it the more I began to notice the sweetness of the amber, the citrus of the orange blossom and the herbal aura of pink peppercorn. This fragrance lasts but the performance dwindles as it goes on. This is a very versatile scent overall.
