Alrehab Grapes

Perfect candy grape, also, smells a lot like the original Aussie Shampoo from the 80's in the orange bottle because of the strong grape scent. Also has noticeable raspberry that comes in after the grape - so it's really nice layered with anything with Raspberry, like La Vie es Belle L'Elixir.

Very fresh and clean fragrance. Straight spritz is very grape forward but it dries down in a very light way, it lingers. I had a long night and could smell it on myself in the morning. I do enjoy it, and I’ll be wearing it this summer for a lighter but forward fragrance.

I put this on my wrist about 10 minutes ago and so far I like it. Immediately I got a grape smell and then it died down a bit to mint and musk. I find it weird and unusual which I like. The mention of a “burnt” note in the review below nearly put me off blind buying it - I thought of the “burnt” (aka liquorice) not in Pink Sugar and the dreadful burnt tyre note in Clinique Happy (it should be a crime to have ruined Happy with burnt smells) - but I’m glad I still bought it because I can’t smell anything burnt. It reminds me a tiny bit of Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet for Men but I don’t think many would agree. It also seems to remind me a tiny bit of Luzanne by Al Rehab because it has a fresh, slightly aquatic vibe. Again that’s subjective. You need to be confident to wear this perfume because it’s so strange. If you like it, rock it! I think the projection is too faint for me though. But I was hoping for a grape fizzy drink vibe. Oh well, people have bigger problems.

I was hoping for a very purple artificial grape drink type of scent, instead it is very floral and powdery. My fault for not checking notes first! Al-Rehab oils benefit from maceration so let's see if this one improves. On the other hand, I got another Al-Rehab oil that is not listed on Fragrantica called Grape Raspberry and it is exactly what I was looking for! A cheerful, sweet, fruity scent that you'd expect from, say, a sugar-free drink mix packet, with a teeny tiny bit of mint in the background. Pure bliss for my nostrils.

A beautiful fruity clean fragrance on my skin, I don’t detect much grape but can definitely smell the subtle mint. Very springy/summery or all year round if you just like smelling fresh. Slightly like women’s deodorant but I definitely don’t hate it.

I layered this with actual oud...surprisingly good mix, lasts a good long while and it's just well...grapes? the notes are weird with this one but it smells good.

Got this as a gift for buy 2 used Burberry bottles. I didn't know it was grape scented. Until I came on here to look it up. I do like the scent but not in love with it or all reach for it. It smells of soft flowers. Like daisy or Lily's. Light but u can still get a wiff of it due to the oils. I like these alrehab perfume we been getting to America. I feel like there stronger smell and longer lasting than the popular high priced named brands.

The oil sits close to the skin. A bit fuzzy and fizzy at first application. It settles into something akin to red grape skins sitting atop a stack of freshly laundered hotel towels. This isn’t something I’ll reach for, but it’s pleasant, a bit out of the ordinary.

I blind-bought this and this is the very first time I'm not exactly thrilled with the perfume I bought like that. :P Too bad I didn't read the reviews here on Fragrantica properly and trusted that one review on the website of the shop I bought this from. :D The review described this as very "juicy scent of grapes". Well, I wouldn't say that at all. That familiar fresh, juicy scent of grapes is nowhere to be found. Instead, what I get from this is rather pungent mix of musk and mint, and some floral element that is hard to identify. It smells almost too fresh, too soapy, too detergent-y. I can't say "oh I dislike/hate this", but do I like this perfume? Not at all. :P It's not entirely bad or anything like that, but you need to enjoy fragrances of this very fresh/detergent-y kind in order to like this. The longevity and sillage are quite decent, though. Conclusion: don't buy this if you want the scent of grapes... Al Rehab Grapes is not even sweet, not even fruity... EDIT: Sadly, I need to add to my conclusion that I actually do dislike the scent after all. :( This is the first time I'm writing a review this negative. I tried to like it somehow but it's just way too detergent like... also, way too sharp, and I'm that kind of person that can enjoy sharp perfumes... but this is almost headache inducing.

Someone missed revealing that floral note somewhere in this! I blind bought this roll on based on the reviews and it came today. Thank goodness it was so cheap! I rolled this on about an hour ago so I could give it time to change notes. Ok, here is my review of what I smell on my wrist. I smell very tart and some sort of floral note which burns my nose pretty bad. I'm not perfume sensitive at all and this is causing me a slight headache and I honestly never get headaches from perfume. It's very shreky. I also smell sweet and a sickly burnt plastic which has not changed within the whole hour I've had it on. That's it! I do not smell any grapes...not the tiniest bit. Just tart, Floral and sweet burnt plastic that irritates my nose extremely bad. It calmed down slightly (ever so slightly) after an hour but it never did change notes or change into anything lovely or delicious. The scent just stayed the same. It was torcher to keep it on for an hour and I am now going to try and wash it off. Here's another blind buy to add to my swap list. I still love the challenge and mystery of blind buying. Well, you win some you lose some!

Review of Al-Rehab Grape Raspberry parfum spray (not yet in the database): To support matelt's claim below, Grape Raspberry is indeed the true "grape" fragrance from Al-Rehab. It's every artificial grape flavor you've ever encountered in a candy, gum, soda, or powdered drink packet. Super sweet, blatantly artificial, and offset a little from a true Concord grape by the inclusion of a raspberry ester of some sort. This is fun and pretty spot-on, although it also reminds me of Dimetapp cold syrup, which is now weirdly marketed directly to children (and was for both children and adults in the 1980s when my mom gave it to me). For those not living in the USA, imagine a very thick and artificial sugary grape flavor, and you have Dimetapp. Grape Raspberry is nearly identical to that, and I wouldn't be surprised if the aroma chemicals used in it are the same as the flavoring agents in the cold drug.

one of the strangest i own now for certain....it smells uncannily similar to freshly-washed hair. not like shampoo out of the bottle, like the hair. literally throws me off that im not smelling hair like the disconnect makes me uncomfortable. and not a hint of grape or any fruit for that matter, its like the shampoo used was indistinctly scented. but no votes cast just yet! i've shaken her and put her in a drawer, hoping she just needs a few weeks to come around.....perfumes are like pets, not all of them are going to show you their true selves the minute you take them home, sometimes you gotta give them some space.....^_^ anyway god bless Noir Toscane already basically satisfied my desire for grape perfume i just was still curious about this one ^^; edit 09/29: babes this still smells like hair. i do not trust al-rehab anymore ❌❌ the 4 others i bought and didnt review also let me down -_-

This is a review for the oil. This is not heavy or strong like most other arabian oils. I find Grapes to be very similar to western perfumes such as chantilly eau vie (purple bottle), and coach poppy. I get a slight grape skin note. No mint, no musk. It's "perfumey", feminine, and pretty. There's not any one particular note that stands out to me. It's very well blended. It is not grapey like i find in Alien or loverdose. It's basically a perfumey grape skin and rose petal scent and it's hard to sniff those notes out individually in the beginning, after wearing it for 30 minutes the grape skin note is more pronounced. Longevity is good about 4 hours and sillage is moderate to soft. I do enjoy the scent but not interested in it enough to buy it again. If you are looking for an easy to wear, non complex, linear scent that mimics western perfumes than this could be a great oil for you.

first time I smell a grape perfume, not to mention you don't see one fruit note perfume that much around here, but you can see it in Alerhab perfumes they have a lot of one fruit note perfumes for those who likes fruity notes, Alrehab Grapes smells like fresh concord grape Literally. if you put it on you will smell like that you ate a grape popsicle lol. for the roll on perfume longevity is long to moderate and the sillage is heavy to moderate. for me I see this perfume is more for women than men.
