Al Rehab Al Youm oil-Nov24 I just got this based on the notes noted here an fragrantica - amber musky powder smokey, vanilla, warm spicy but this is surprisingly very sweet smelling. I'd rather sweet than bitter any day but I'm not sure what exactly 2 think yet. I will update in greater detail 4 the benefit of someone else as I sit with this... Edit- upon reflecting... I can't name a specific fragrance it reminds me of but definitely reminds me of the high dollar department store fragrance section in the 1990s where men's and women's frags sorta met..where men's fragrances like Escape and Eternity that were labeled for men certainly could be worn by women as they shared more sweet notes than bitter. Sweet, but not gourmand, this fragrance is a bit cloying and demands attention but I'm not sure how far the throw of the fragrance actually goes. I do have to sniff up close. I do notice it heavy on my clothes, but unsure if this is because of it's overpowering my senses or not having more silage beyond its imprint on clothing? This fragrance definitely has a powdery undertone, which I love powders so I have no objection to that but it's just very very sweet and bold in the way those 90s frags were in announcing your smell. Trying 2 rip apart the notes... there's not exactly a marine note but it sorta is there... I hated the marine notes of the 90s... perhaps it's amber that is tempering that note in this 2 make it pleasing 2 my nose. Still there's a bit of a shrill sweetness 2 it that is less gourmand and just more early "90s" is about the best that I can articulate. Like many out there, it's not unique--it's not something that stands out as being unusual and I'm sure u've smelled any number of fragrances like this before... I just can't pinpoint which ones this duplicates. If u like sweet and appreciate the temper of the powdery quality of amber, this is pleasant. I'd definitely say its unisex and can be enjoyed by either. Although I do love gourmands and do love sweet as well as earthy scents of amber/musk and clean powder scents, I don't get a vanilla vibe here and it's more classic sweet than gourmand sweet. Idk if that helps anyone but I hope so.

I have half of the 50ml spray bottle left. And it smells even better than when I bought it for $4. It's a wonderful perfume, a celebration of all the transformations of amber in the company of warm rum.
